About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with a giant breed dog and three cats, currently have two cats of my own, and I am an animal shelter volunteer! I’m comfortable with dogs of any size and temperament (both laid-back cuddle bugs and high-energy dogs that need extra exercise and attention). Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make their time with me stress-free and fun! I just graduated college and my full time job doesn’t start until mid July, so other than the occasional hanging out with friends, I have a wide open schedule! I am extremely flexible and will follow the owner’s usual routine as much as possible. I am comfortable with leashed walks as well as supervising dogs in fenced yards — I will not walk dogs off-leash or leave unsupervised in yards. I am happy to take dogs on adventures or just chill, but for the most part I am happy to do whatever the owner prefers!

We've used Alyssia several times now and will absolutely continue requesting her! She stopped by for a drop-in visit to let our pups out for a quick potty break, feed them dinner, and give them their medications, and she handled everything perfectly. She even went the extra mile by washing their dishes and rinsing out the canned food container so I could just toss it straight into the recycling bin. That kind of thoughtfulness really means a lot! Alexis is a delight. I have 2 shy kitties. One is especially shy and rarely comes out when strangers are around. Both kitties warmed up to Alexis and came around for her visits. This is a major break through for my especially shy kitty. I had multiple deliveries during the time Alexis was taking care of my furbabies. All deliveries should have arrived before my departure but were delayed. Alexis brought each delivery in for me. Thank you, Alexis, for your kindness and thank you for caring for Poppy and Penny.
