“Keira was wonderful! She was so flexible with our timing as our plans changed last minute and took incredible care of our pups! She also sent great updates including many photos!”

“I needed drop-ins on my dog while I was away for the weekend, and Leigh did an awesome job! She was very communicative while setting up the initial meet-and-greet and for all the drop-ins she did. Leigh also was very understanding when I needed to adjust my timing last minute! Would definitely use her again and recommend her to others!”

“Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.”

About: I have had animals my entire life, and currently live with two dogs and two cats! I also have experience with horses if anyone has farm needs. A majority of all our family pets have been rescue animals. I have experience working with special needs of those pups and cats that have trauma and other issues to over come after being rescued. From young to old I have raised many animals. My equine experience comes from a learning facility in Great Falls. All of the horses were seniors with special care requirements and medications. I am capable and confident in caring for any animal once I get to know them. I have a full time job with weekends off generally. I would be available in the evenings or weekends to help with care right now. I would respect any guidelines that the home owner has with respect to the care of their pet. I am flexible and adaptable to the needs of your pet.
“Frannie was amazing with my 2 dogs! One is very boisterous, the other is very cautious of people. Frannie was very calm, patient, and soft spoken with my cautious one. In minutes, Frannie won her over and she was asking for pets from her. Frannie also stayed the entire time that I booked her, she did everything that was asked of her and more. Will be booking with her again”

Courtney was a great caregiver to my cat, Riffraff. She followed my initial directions and communicated each visit with great pictures and descriptions of how he was doing and feeling as well as eating. Definitely would recommend Courtney, she shows she cares for the animals she’s responsible for!

Melissa was wonderful with our cat! So happy that she was available to take care of him for the week. The pictures were adorable and it’s clear that he enjoyed her company and the attention she gave him. Our house was in good order when we arrived home as well. Highly recommend Melissa!

Evelyn is an exceptional pet sitter! She is responsible, dependable, and clearly cared deeply for our pets while we were away. She kept us updated, followed all instructions carefully, and made sure our pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. One of our pets is a 9week old puppy. I would absolutely recommend Evelyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

I had a great experience with Lisa and highly recommend her! From the start, she was communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. I gave her a long list of info about my pups and she welcomed the details. Her confident attitude and understanding, gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She provided pics and all went well! It’s not easy to trust someone with your fur babies, but she made the whole experience stress-free and positive. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
