About: I grew up in a pet loving home, where at any given time we had at least two cats and one dog living under our roof. As young as 12 years old, I was entrusted by neighbors to pet sit, and I took part in caring for and training my own family pets. I now have 4 cats and a dog of my own, and I promise to love and care for your fur babies as I would for my own. I’m currently working part time as a dog groomer, however my schedule is very unstructured, so it changes from week to week. Usually however, I’m only working 2-3 days a week, which leaves my schedule wide open to spend my days with your fur babies! I am unable to care for any additional animals in my own home, however I would be more than happy to watch your babies in your home! I would ensure your home was treated with respect and would do my part in keeping it clean. I’d be able to crate your pups if desired, as well as clean litter boxes, as well as any other care-taking tasks required.

About: After proudly serving in the military, I decided it was time for a change. Changing careers has opened up my schedule, giving me the opportunity to fill my time with activities I truly enjoy—especially spending quality time with the purest type of love you can get from your fur babies. I have a natural instinct to be protective. Your fur babies will be in good hands with me. I’m comfortable staying calm and stepping in when situations become stressful, including separating dogs if a conflict occurs. I also have some background experience in law enforcement. The reason I mention this is because, with me, you’re not only getting a dog sitter—you’re also getting someone you can trust to look after your home while you’re away. Safety is always my number one priority to those around me. As you look through my photos, you’ll notice several dogs I’ve known and cared for since they were puppies. I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to family, friends, and coworkers over the years. This is simply my first time offering those services through an app. I’d be more than happy to share stories about some of my favorite four-legged friends if you’d like to continue the conversation. They all hold a special place in my heart, and I genuinely loved spending time with them. The Siberian Husky in the photos is my sweet fur baby, Niko. It has been a couple of years since his passing, but he will always have a special place in my heart. Niko was a very loving and gentle Husky. He got along with everyone, loved wrestling with other dogs at the dog park, and enjoyed going on long walks. He was also by my side through some of the hardest times in my life. I’m not quite ready to take on the full responsibility of owning another dog, but I would absolutely love the opportunity to build a special bond with your fur baby. I hope to give them the same love, attention, and companionship I gave Niko. Working a full time job. I can possibly do Thursday evenings. I have some Fridays off/get off early from work. I’m off Saturdays and Sundays. I can be even more flexible, depending on location. I have had dogs stay with me in the past, but I am currently renting and unable to provide that service as of now. I’m available to provide love and care to your fur baby in your home, if you’d like.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 12, so caring for them has always been a big part of my life! I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and love making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. I’ll treat your dog like my own and give them plenty of care, attention, and affection! Carolina has been such a huge help for my new puppy! I don't have to worry about my baby while I am at work. I get updates and photos at each visit and Harper gets much needed mid-day exercise and attention. I feel like Carolina takes care of Harper as if she is her own - always mindful of health, age appropriate play, and she always goes the extra mile while there!
We've used Alyssia several times now and will absolutely continue requesting her! She stopped by for a drop-in visit to let our pups out for a quick potty break, feed them dinner, and give them their medications, and she handled everything perfectly. She even went the extra mile by washing their dishes and rinsing out the canned food container so I could just toss it straight into the recycling bin. That kind of thoughtfulness really means a lot! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
