About: My family had two dogs growing up. I have experience with taking care of beagles and labs. I currently have a lab mix and pit bull of my own. Plenty of experience taking dogs for walks, to the dog park, feeding and keeping water available all day. I work full time from home so I am able to care for your pet as needed. I can adjust to their potty break schedule and play with them throughout the day. I live in a townhouse in the Georgetown South neighborhood in Manassas. I will walk your dog, play with your dog and your dog will have a lovable black lab to play with as well if desired. I work full time from home so I am able to provide your pup with plenty of attention and care while you are away. I am able to provide walks as needed throughout the day and evening. I have a small fenced in front yard and small back yard that your pup and my pup will enjoy! If needed, I am able to crate your pup.

Having two large dogs makes it not so easy to find someone comfortable watching them but Melika was able to handle them (and their rambunctious behavior) so well, the pups both loved her! She even brought over our lab a slow feeder bowl to test out before we invested in the purchase - so sweet! She was on time, communicated well, and sent lots of photos and updates. Alexis is a delight. I have 2 shy kitties. One is especially shy and rarely comes out when strangers are around. Both kitties warmed up to Alexis and came around for her visits. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
