“Jim cared for my dog and 3 cats for the weekend. My cats had complex instructions and one of them required daily oral medication. Jim did an excellent job of caring for them all and my dog loved the walks and massage time.”

“I had a great experience with Lisa and highly recommend her! From the start, she was communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. I gave her a long list of info about my pups and she welcomed the details. Her confident attitude and understanding, gave me total peace of mind while I was away. She provided pics and all went well! It’s not easy to trust someone with your fur babies, but she made the whole experience stress-free and positive. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Brenda comes to my house and let's my two Great Danes our for a mid-day break. I love that she has experience with large dogs and my dogs love her. I'm very happy to have her looking after my dogs and highly recommend her!”
“Melissa was amazing doing a drop-in visit for our four doggies while we were out all day! We have one dog who is pretty shy as she was feral, and I loved seeing a photo where she actually was by Melissa! Shows us Melissa has great vibes and energy, and when the dogs approve, so do us humans! Thank you so much Melissa!!💜”

“Fern is awesome. I work shift work so I can be gone 24-48 hours at a time. She has been there last minute for my two German shepherds. Communicates clearly and my dogs love spending time with her. She’s awesome!”

“Meah met with me beforehand to meet my cat Mae and discuss her needs. She was very flexible about time and any changes. She did everything she promised to do and Mae was happy. I recommend her to anyone with a pet or a few pets.”

“Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. In the last few years I've boarded over 30 dogs at the house. I've completed over 250 services on wag with dogs, cats, and a pig while maintaining a perfect 5.0 rating. References available upon request. Pet care is my full time job. Dogs will have free range around the house and I'm with them 100% of the time unless I have to go walk another dog. My house has a dog door attached to a fenced backyard which the dogs have full access to throughout the day. They're also allowed on the furniture and bed. We have a nice trail by the house which my dog and I walk about 5 miles a day on.

“Nadia was great! We did a meet and greet beforehand to make sure things were a good fit; she communicated professionally and in a timely manner. She took good care of our feline monsters and we intend to use her services again.”

“Amanda was amazing! She spent time with our girls and was communicative and prompt. She was flexible and helped us modify our booking when we had to cut our trip short due to illness. We absolutely would book again with Amanda for future needs!”

“Thanks for the support checking in on our kitties while we were out of town for family business. It was one less thing to worry about while away, knowing they were well and looked after.”

“Jacob has been a great taking care of my dog while I’ve been away. He’s been great with sending updates and pictures of my fur baby. I’d definitely recommend Jacob to anyone looking to help take of their pets.”

About: Hello! My first name is Sarah but I usually go by Gabby (my middle name) however either is fine! I have had pets my entire life and come from a family of animal lovers. My family has small farms with all kinds of animals I've helped care for, but I'm most experienced with dogs, cats, and small mammals. I do have some experience with reptiles and birds if needed. I treat each pet as I would my own and am able to bond with dogs and cats quickly. I'm very experienced with all sizes and breeds of dogs. I love to play with, pet, and pamper pets! I make sure they are entertained, healthy, safe and happy. I work as a teacher so I'm only available outside of the school day. I am available for overnights and willing to do early morning visits. Weekends I am flexible with timing. I've had many jobs working in homes including nannying, therapy, tutoring and pet sitting. I will give your home the same respect I'd want for mine.
“This was my first time using Rover, I also needed a dog sitter really last minute so I was pretty nervous but Brenda put me at absolute ease with clear communication from the start. My dog is kind of a handful because she’s only 9 months old & this was the first time she had been taken care of by a stranger but I don’t think there could have been someone better than Brenda. She understood all the details, asked the right questions during our virtual meet & greet, & provided me with all the useful information I needed to have as a first time user. She took such good care of my pup, we will definitely book her again. Thank you so much Brenda for being so accommodating & kind, we had a wonderful experience.”

About: I took care of my neighbors dogs while she was away. I've house sat before and I enjoy long and or short walks with any dog! I'm home from school for the summer so I have plenty of free time to walk and over house sit! I'm free in the mornings and afternoon, 7 days a week. I can walk your dog as far as you would like and will spend as much time with your dog as necessary! I enjoy staying active and don't mind taking your dog for runs as well!
Wooded Acres pet parents share their Rover experiences
Skyler is a pet pro! Our family highly recommends her to anyone seeking care for their kitties. She is a great communicator and took excellent care of our babies while we were out of town. We got lots of pictures of our kitties, and it shows that they adore Skyler. One of our kitties is elderly and requires daily oral injections, which Skyler gave him with ease. We’d love to have Skyler back when we travel again.

Alexis is a delight. I have 2 shy kitties. One is especially shy and rarely comes out when strangers are around. Both kitties warmed up to Alexis and came around for her visits. This is a major break through for my especially shy kitty. I had multiple deliveries during the time Alexis was taking care of my furbabies. All deliveries should have arrived before my departure but were delayed. Alexis brought each delivery in for me. Thank you, Alexis, for your kindness and thank you for caring for Poppy and Penny. Great job!
Logan did an awesome job with our drop-in visit for Holly! He was reliable, communicative, and clearly took great care of her while we were away. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Logan followed instructions perfectly and made sure Holly was comfortable and happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter.
