About: I’ve been dog/house sitting since I was about 12 years old. I went on to take Veterinary Medicine courses through my high school, while I interned at a local animal hospital. I then went on to work as a kennel tech at a boarding and daycare facility for a year, then moved to another vet to start putting my knowledge to the test! I am now enrolled and in my second year of online school to get my bachelors in Animal Health and Behavior, and I absolutely love my job as a vet tech assistant! I’m currently only working part time so I have more time for school, but I do have some extra time on my hands. There’s no better way to spend free time than playing with furry friends! I have plenty experience in basic dog/cat health, including handling aggressive, overly energetic, or untrained pets, as well as “breakout artists”, who might be prone to fence-jumping or getting out of kennels. During my experience working as a kennel tech, I learned many different ways to handle an array of behaviors.

About: I've helped raise my two family dogs! A Jack Russell Terrier and a Great Pyrenees. My family has had both since they were puppies so I have experience with puppy care! Having both breeds, I'm used to both small and large dogs. I have also been hired by family and friends to watch and walk their dogs while away on trips. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
