“Melissa is practically part of the family at this point. Our golden girl absolutely loves her! We use her for weekly walks, drop in visits, and all out of town travel. She is always accommodating to our schedule and we are so lucky to have found her!”

About: I have a genuine love for animals and experience providing caring, reliable pet care. I enjoy keeping pets happy and comfortable through walks, playtime, feeding, attention, and maintaining their daily routines. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I am a college student home for the summer so my schedule is quite open and flexible which allows me to easily accommodate your schedule. I will feed, walk, and care for the pets whatever their needs may be. Whatever the pet owners demand, I will provide to the best of my abilities.

About: I have always had animals in my life. I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, birds, horses, ducks, chickens, turkeys and goats. I currently have 3 cats and a dog. For as long as I can remember animals have always been in my life! I’ve worked with animals from young kittens and puppies to seniors, I absolutely love spending time with other people’s pets along with my own. I am a college student taking classes in the summer. I am available to take care of your pet babies overnight and in the morning to afternoon to early evening I give all our cats and dog the best treatment possible, I wake up and feed them, take our dog on walks, cuddle up with the kitties while doing homework and spend the night with all of them sleeping in my bed with me (I love them so much I let them sleep on my pillow and steal 90% of the bed space😂)

“Really nice and professional and he was available even though I booked him at the very last minute. He treated both of my pups so well and I would definitely book Jim again!”

“Daniel was fantastic with Jack! He was always on time and super reliable during the two weeks I was away. With Glenn working 6/10 shifts, Dan’s daily walks gave Jack a much-needed break and helped us out a lot. We’re really grateful for the care and consistency— we’ll definitely be using him again. Highly recommend!”

“Maddy is great! We use her services weekly, and appreciate her reliability and compassion. You can tell that she really enjoys her time spent around animals. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with lots of animals that always needed extra care and love. I also have taken care of seniors that need extra attention, patience, and medication. I just recently graduated cosmetology school so I’m taking time off in the mean time to explore other areas. I have open availability so my focus can be on your fur babies I keep plenty of toys and litter boxes around the home. I keep evening tidy and clean for my animals. I like to meet the animal first to make sure it’ll be a good fit and to ensure I am capable of taking care of them

But I’m open to whatever you need me for! In total I’ve had around 15 long term clients. I’m currently wanting to get more experience and hopefully create a new client base! :) I’m currently in school full time, so I’m free almost always, as long as I have my laptop or phone on me! About: I've had dogs my entire life. In the last few years I've boarded over 30 dogs at the house. I've completed over 250 services on wag with dogs, cats, and a pig while maintaining a perfect 5.0 rating. References available upon request. Pet care is my full time job. Dogs will have free range around the house and I'm with them 100% of the time unless I have to go walk another dog. My house has a dog door attached to a fenced backyard which the dogs have full access to throughout the day. They're also allowed on the furniture and bed. We have a nice trail by the house which my dog and I walk about 5 miles a day on.
About: I took care of my neighbors dogs while she was away. I've house sat before and I enjoy long and or short walks with any dog! I'm home from school for the summer so I have plenty of free time to walk and over house sit! I'm free in the mornings and afternoon, 7 days a week. I can walk your dog as far as you would like and will spend as much time with your dog as necessary! I enjoy staying active and don't mind taking your dog for runs as well! For cats I love being with them and keeping them company, while feeding and providing clean up.
“Nataleigh is awesome. She was very flexible about the appointment time and shows up in time! She has taken really good care of our Sela who is recovering from knee surgery. I would highly recommend her.”

“I had the pleasure of having Lilly, walk my Dog Simon 3-4xs a week for 2 months. She was always punctual on timing and if she was ever running behind she would make sure to give a notice. Most importantly I enjoyed seeing Simòn happy upon her arrival, tail wagging through my Furbo Dog camera, she always greeted him with scratches and made sure to give him a treat before leaving. I appreciated the photos during the walks around the neighborhood or if Simòn was being lazy instead of ending the walk she would sit outside with him while he sun bathed giving him scratches. Lilly thank you so much for helping me out during this time!”

“Extremely great experience. Our dog is always excited and happy when Siria arrives for a walk. Very professional at all times and takes care our dog extremely well! Highly recommend!!”

A few years ago, my family also welcomed another dog, Bella, into our home, and we’ve been caring for her ever since. Looking after two dogs has taught me how to meet different personalities and needs, whether that’s going on fun walks, playing, or simply making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and always make sure they receive plenty of love, care, and attentio I am working part time and have plenty of time this summer to meet and take care of many cute faces I am available almost anytime. In my home we have two dogs who are my best friends I love carrying for them a well as having a good time and seeing them have fun.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodbine Forest
Stephen H did an exceptional job walking our 2 dogs. He came on shorter notice than I would normally provide due to a family emergency. He was always punctual and brought sunshine to the dogs and their owners. He trained our 3 y/o greyhound mix to walk on a leash in 3 days. He took care of the dogs so well that I will always go to him first for future dog walking jobs. Thank you, Stephen H.
Elizabeth has such a calm and reassuring demeanor, and my dog absolutely lights up when she comes over for a walk. She communicates quickly and clearly, which makes scheduling around my work week incredibly easy. I always know my dog is in good hands with her. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
