“Fern walked my dog two mornings in a row and she was always punctual, and overall amazing!! No complaints whatsoever. My Dutch Shepherd can be highly energetic but Fern knew how to connect with her from day 1”

About: After my experience working at a boarding kennel, my friends, family, and colleagues looked to me for pet care. Ever since I’ve been walking, feeding, and looking after animals of all different sizes for my people. I’ve loved being able to take care and spend time with animals and making sure people feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe and loved with me. I’ve distributed insulin, eye drops, and oral medicine, and I can bathe/brush/clip nails as well. Starting the 28th of November, I’ll be off all day Sunday and Saturday. On weekdays I’ll be able to check in before 8am and after 5:30pm. I feed and prepare food based on feeding instructions, clean up after pet made messes. I walk on designated routes for any desired amount of time. I try to give as much snuggles if the pet is comfortable, if not I respect animals boundaries

About: I have always had animals in my life. I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, birds, horses, ducks, chickens, turkeys and goats. I currently have 3 cats and a dog. For as long as I can remember animals have always been in my life! I’ve worked with animals from young kittens and puppies to seniors, I absolutely love spending time with other people’s pets along with my own. I am a college student taking classes in the summer. I am available to take care of your pet babies overnight and in the morning to afternoon to early evening I give all our cats and dog the best treatment possible, I wake up and feed them, take our dog on walks, cuddle up with the kitties while doing homework and spend the night with all of them sleeping in my bed with me (I love them so much I let them sleep on my pillow and steal 90% of the bed space😂)
“Melissa was great. My dog doesn’t always walk well for new people and he took to her right away. She took the time to come by for a meet and greet and we were really impressed!”

“Maddy was once again wonderful. Always communicating with me well and going above and beyond to help when my pups when she was sick! Will definitely book again in future :)”

“I had the pleasure of having Lilly, walk my Dog Simon 3-4xs a week for 2 months. She was always punctual on timing and if she was ever running behind she would make sure to give a notice. Most importantly I enjoyed seeing Simòn happy upon her arrival, tail wagging through my Furbo Dog camera, she always greeted him with scratches and made sure to give him a treat before leaving. I appreciated the photos during the walks around the neighborhood or if Simòn was being lazy instead of ending the walk she would sit outside with him while he sun bathed giving him scratches. Lilly thank you so much for helping me out during this time!”

About: I’ve been dog/house sitting since I was about 12 years old. I went on to take Veterinary Medicine courses through my high school, while I interned at a local animal hospital. I then went on to work as a kennel tech at a boarding and daycare facility for a year, then moved to another vet to start putting my knowledge to the test! I am now enrolled and in my second year of online school to get my bachelors in Animal Health and Behavior, and I absolutely love my job as a vet tech assistant! I’m currently only working part time so I have more time for school, but I do have some extra time on my hands. There’s no better way to spend free time than playing with furry friends! I have plenty experience in basic dog/cat health, including handling aggressive, overly energetic, or untrained pets, as well as “breakout artists”, who might be prone to fence-jumping or getting out of kennels. During my experience working as a kennel tech, I learned many different ways to handle an array of behaviors.

I can provide plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I will treat your fur babies like my own, providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. I will follow their routines, give them the attention they need, and make sure they always feel cared for and secure.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for just over three years! My mom works at a dog kennel, and introduced me to fantastic clients. My main services are Boarding, and Dog sitting. But I’m open to whatever you need me for! In total I’ve had around 15 long term clients. I’m currently wanting to get more experience and hopefully create a new client base! :) I’m currently in school full time, so I’m free almost always, as long as I have my laptop or phone on me! I’m almost always available to do walks, check ins, or any form of dog sitting needed. My schedule is very flexible :) I currently have 4 cats, if needed, (in the case of boarding) I can always create a designated space for your pet to stay comfortable and happy during. As for your own home, I’m very detail oriented, so any detailed information and instructions you can provide of your pet’s routine, and day to day, would be great!
About: I have experience caring for dogs because I had my dog Luna, and taking care of her taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and giving pets love and attention. I have always loved animals, and whenever I am around them, I enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I would love the opportunity to provide the same care and affection to other people’s pets. Schedule: I am available during the day for pet care, walks, and drop-in visits. I am available on weekdays from the morning until the afternoon, and I can occasionally provide evening care depending on my availability. I enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they receive attention, exercise, and love throughout the day. I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for every pet. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and each pet’s routine. I am patient, responsible, and treat every animal with the same care and love I gave to Luna

“I wish I could rate him more than 5⭐️ Eugene was excellent, he was always on-time, and answered to my messages very fast. These aspects are very important to me. There was a time that my neighborhood said Bella is crying and I had to ask Eugene to go and check on her. This was not part of the schedule but Eugene showed care and was willing to walk over my place and take her for a walk. In general I’m very happy to find such a great dog-walker for my baby girl. 🥰🥰”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
