“I wish there was a way to leave a higher than 5 star review for Audree and her amazing family. From the moment you drop your fur baby off until you pick them up you’re aware of what’s happening. There is also such genuine care. Louie, my 11 month old pup, had a neuter and umbilical hernia removal that had a few complications. Even though when he was there he was fully healed he still had a tender tummy. When dropping them off it was reiterated back to me everything they’d do to ensure he was properly cared for. If you’re going between who to leave your dog with stop your search and trust you’ve found the right people for the job.”

One gets anxious when meeting other dogs, but he had no problem with her guiding him step by step. She walked us and the dogs thru a very comfortable meet and greet with her and China (her adorable pug). My dogs have stayed with her twice. The second time, both my dogs were thrilled to see her, and one ran into her backyard like it was her house. They have never done that with other sitters, so I know my babies are having a great time with Heather. She sends daily pics, and makes us all feel at ease.”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Yocum home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Yocum.

You and your Yocum sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
