“Frannie was just wonderful! Such a great human and dog person and my dog REALLY LOVED HER! She walked her so well. And I look forward to booking more doggie walks. She was also very patient with my dog who still has some of the puppy behavior. Thank you!!”

“Daniel was fantastic with Jack! He was always on time and super reliable during the two weeks I was away. With Glenn working 6/10 shifts, Dan’s daily walks gave Jack a much-needed break and helped us out a lot. We’re really grateful for the care and consistency— we’ll definitely be using him again. Highly recommend!”

“Maddy is great! We use her services weekly, and appreciate her reliability and compassion. You can tell that she really enjoys her time spent around animals. Highly recommend!”

“Sarahi was incredible with my dog Eisley. My dog was immediately comfortable with her and was excited for walk time everyday. Would absolutely book her again and the only reason she is not helping any longer is because I am moving.”

About: I am 33 years old, happily married, a licensed paramedic, and have been pet and house sitting since I was 12 years old. Growing up I worked at my family's business for over a decade, a Daycare for Dogs, and have vast experience with all shapes and sizes. I'm very comfortable administering any kind of pet medication and caring for our 4 legged friends needing special attention. In my personal life I also own take care of Cats and would love to meet and take care of all your furry family. I believe that pet sitting does not just stop with your pets, but the job continues to the house. Whether you need your mail picked up, your packages brought in or your plants watered, I consider that I’ll part of the job. "Everyone thinks that they have the best pet and none of them are wrong" "Be the person your dog thinks you are." "All you need is love from a cat" I'm newly located in Manassas and have enough schedule flexibility that I can provide morning or evening pet care. We can discuss any specific scheduling needs you may have. I'm unfortunately living in an apartment and not able to care for your pets in my own home. I'm a licensed paramedic and have a 100% clean background - I'll always leave a client's home exactly as they left it.

About: I have always had animals in my life. I grew up on a farm with cats, dogs, birds, horses, ducks, chickens, turkeys and goats. I currently have 3 cats and a dog. For as long as I can remember animals have always been in my life! I’ve worked with animals from young kittens and puppies to seniors, I absolutely love spending time with other people’s pets along with my own. I am a college student taking classes in the summer. I am available to take care of your pet babies overnight and in the morning to afternoon to early evening I give all our cats and dog the best treatment possible, I wake up and feed them, take our dog on walks, cuddle up with the kitties while doing homework and spend the night with all of them sleeping in my bed with me (I love them so much I let them sleep on my pillow and steal 90% of the bed space😂)

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my experience caring for my own pets. I currently have three dogs, one cat, and a rabbit, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and attention that pets need every day. Being around animals has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I do my best to follow their schedule so they feel at ease while their owners are away. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving them extra attention and cuddles, I make sure they get the care they deserve. I also understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are doing well, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos. My goal is to treat every pet like family and give them a caring, stress-free experience while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I am available Monday through Thursday and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they need. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. I enjoy spending time with animals and can make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I am committed to providing reliable and loving care for every pet I look after. When caring for pets, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets always have fresh water, attention, and a clean environment. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I treat every pet with kindness and patience and care for them as if they were my own. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and doing well while they are away.

About: I have three dogs of my own, and plenty of experience walking and taking care of them! I’ve also pet sat/walked for others and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes as well as other animal types. Two of my pups are senior citizens, so I have experience with that as well! I’m currently an online college student, so most weekdays and weekdays work for me! I’m also available during most times of the day. While I don’t board pets in my own home, I do go to the clients home to check in on the animals! I’ve always made sure to be respectful of their space, make sure the pets are well taken care of, and lock up behind me.
“Eugene was responsive, reliable, punctual, polite, and thoughtful. We scheduled him for a last minute walk with our two large dogs, who are also rather quirky. Eugene asked smart questions, listened attentively, and did a great job. We're hiring him again already.”

“I can't say enough about Nataleigh. She is very responsible and communicates well. She does great with our 2 year old Malinois, Sela. We are so glad that we found her. I highly recommend Nataleigh if you want your furry baby to be safe and happy!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodlawn Meadows
She was so kind and such a joy to meet! We feel really good about trusting her with our dog and home! Right away she connected with our doberman and you can tell she has a lot of knowledge and experience! We are looking forward to working with her for walks and out of town stays!

Stephen H did an exceptional job walking our 2 dogs. He came on shorter notice than I would normally provide due to a family emergency. He was always punctual and brought sunshine to the dogs and their owners. He trained our 3 y/o greyhound mix to walk on a leash in 3 days. He took care of the dogs so well that I will always go to him first for future dog walking jobs. Thank you, Stephen H.
Blain is a compassion and patient person that helped with my crazy dog named Krazy for a reason. Blain didn’t give up on Krazy, kept trying until she was able to take her out. Blain is a person that follows instruction and keeps you update with any situation. I 100% recommend using her and her services. Treats your pet as if they are her’s.

Elizabeth has such a calm and reassuring demeanor, and my dog absolutely lights up when she comes over for a walk. She communicates quickly and clearly, which makes scheduling around my work week incredibly easy. I always know my dog is in good hands with her. Highly recommend!

Ingrid is an excellent dog walker! She has taken care of our puppy very well on each and every walk and has provided us detailed information on how she is doing, especially while recovering from illness. We recommend her service to anyone who needs closer care, love and attention to their pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
