About: Hi! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a dog taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and providing a loving environment for pets. I’m an active, dependable person who enjoys long walks and spending time outdoors on walking trails, so making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention comes naturally to me. Whether your pup loves a leisurely stroll or has lots of energy to burn, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while they’re with me. I understand that pets are family, and I’ll treat yours with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. Pet care fits very well into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. This allows me to provide reliable care, accommodate last-minute bookings when possible, and give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I unfortunately do not have a yard at my residence but I am more than happy to take care of your furry friends on your home
About: I have been a vet tech and animal educator in the past. I’m very flexible with scheduling, and understand last minute things come up. I am happy to work with whatever pet needs you have! For locals I can pop in as often as needed, I’m happy to be flexible with your needs. My availability right now is wide open. I am comfortable with pets that need medical care, pets that are less comfortable with people/strangers/ other animals, and the less common pets. I believe in full transparency, and will provide your pets with the care you would give them yourself.
“Emily was SUPER patient with us and was amazing with our pups! Our pups aren’t the easiest to walk but she was super kind and accommodating. Can’t wait to use her again!”

“Daniel was fantastic with Jack! He was always on time and super reliable during the two weeks I was away. With Glenn working 6/10 shifts, Dan’s daily walks gave Jack a much-needed break and helped us out a lot. We’re really grateful for the care and consistency— we’ll definitely be using him again. Highly recommend!”

“Sarahi was incredible with my dog Eisley. My dog was immediately comfortable with her and was excited for walk time everyday. Would absolutely book her again and the only reason she is not helping any longer is because I am moving.”

“Maddy was once again wonderful. Always communicating with me well and going above and beyond to help when my pups when she was sick! Will definitely book again in future :)”

About: I have experience caring for dogs because I had my dog Luna, and taking care of her taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and giving pets love and attention. I would love the opportunity to provide the same care and affection to other people’s pets. Schedule: I am available during the day for pet care, walks, and drop-in visits. I am available on weekdays from the morning until the afternoon, and I can occasionally provide evening care depending on my availability. I enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they receive attention, exercise, and love throughout the day. I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for every pet. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and each pet’s routine. I am patient, responsible, and treat every animal with the same care and love I gave to Luna

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs during my life time and know how to keep them happy and safe. And this won’t just be me but also my two kids. I also just last year took care of our neighbors hyper dog for a few days. I’m currently not working I’m retired and have free time on my hands and it seemed like an easy side hustle that I can do with my family and so that my youngest daughter learns responsibility. I have a lot of experience with dogs and me and family currently have a dog(Jack Russel Terrier) of 5 years. And with my same experience I will take of your Pet very well and keep them happy. Because pets are more than just companions they are family.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive hands-on experience working at two different dog boarding facilities. Through this experience, I've had the opportunity to care for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of their unique needs. This background equips me to offer personalized care, ensuring that every dog receives the attention and comfort they deserve. Whether it's maintaining a consistent routine or addressing specific preferences, I am dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment that helps your pet feel at ease while you're away. I’m currently in school, so pet care fits really well into my schedule outside of my classes. I’m looking for something flexible that I genuinely enjoy, and spending time caring for animals is something I’d be happy to make part of my routine. I’m able to plan my availability around school and make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client's home, my focus is on maintaining their daily routine and providing them with a comfortable, secure environment. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding times, walks, and exercise, ensuring the pet’s needs are met. I also spend quality time with the pet, offering companionship and play to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. By keeping the home safe and checking for any potential hazards, I ensure the pet remains secure while their owner is away. My goal is to offer peace of mind to the pet owner while providing their pet with a loving, familiar environment.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Manassas Park
We had a wonderful meet-and-greet and neighborhood walk today, and this walker is absolutely lovely! They naturally they handled commands with my high energy pup. If you need someone who is both highly capable and genuinely caring to look after your pup, I cannot recommend them enough!

She was so kind and such a joy to meet! We feel really good about trusting her with our dog and home! Right away she connected with our doberman and you can tell she has a lot of knowledge and experience! We are looking forward to working with her for walks and out of town stays!

Ingrid is an excellent dog walker! She has taken care of our puppy very well on each and every walk and has provided us detailed information on how she is doing, especially while recovering from illness. We recommend her service to anyone who needs closer care, love and attention to their pets!

This was our second booking with Kasey. She was easy to work with and great with our 3 dogs. She was quick to recognize their preferences and skilled at meeting individual needs. Our dogs clearly enjoyed their time with her and they napped/slept well after her visits.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
