Dog training and behavior isn’t a hobby for me—it’s what I do professionally every day. What sets my home apart from a typical boarding environment is the experience, structure, and understanding of canine behavior your dog receives while staying with me. I’m comfortable working with everything from puppies and high-energy working breeds to senior dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges, including reactivity and aggression. My property sits on 1.2 private acres with a fully fenced 6-foot privacy fence, giving dogs plenty of safe space to get outside and enjoy themselves. I keep a structured routine while also adjusting each dog’s day based on their age, energy level, temperament, physical needs, and what they’re accustomed to at home. Dogs are safely kenneled whenever they cannot be directly supervised and get multiple opportunities throughout the day to be outside, move, play, and engage. Because dogs are part of my everyday life—not something I care for only before or after work—I’m able to be very involved throughout their entire stay. Safety is my first priority. As a professional dog trainer, I understand canine behavior, body language, stress, arousal, and how quickly interactions between dogs can change. I don’t believe in simply putting unfamiliar dogs together and hoping everyone gets along. Dogs staying with me are supervised and managed based on their individual temperament, behavior, and needs. I have the ability to keep dogs completely separate when necessary, which also allows me to safely accommodate dogs that may not be appropriate for traditional daycare or open-play boarding environments. My home sits on 1.2 private acres with a fully fenced 6-foot privacy fence, providing plenty of secure space for outdoor time, exercise, and play. Dogs are safely kenneled whenever they cannot be directly supervised, and I never rely on a fenced yard as a substitute for supervision. Each dog’s routine is individualized. I follow owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, physical limitations, household routines, and any behavioral concerns. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, high-drive working breeds, reactive dogs, and dogs with aggression or other behavioral challenges. I also have German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois working dogs of my own. Guest dogs are not automatically expected to interact with my personal dogs or other boarding dogs. Any interaction is intentional and based on the individual dogs involved. My goal is to provide owners with something I would want for my own dogs: a clean, secure, structured environment with knowledgeable supervision, plenty of individual attention, play and outdoor time, and regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident about where your dog is staying.

About: I’m a Stay at Home Mom with 2 boys. We will be able to give your dog/precious furry child our full attention. *We only need your dog to be comfortable with elementary school age boys.* Your dog will stay active with us, we’ll do everything we can together! We recently lost our sweet dog of 14 years and we are only ready to babysit and care for dogs in our local area at this time. Not ready for our own yet! So there are no other animals in the home. Your dog will have 1:1 care. Let me know specifically how you care for your dog and I will do my best to make sure your dog feels loved and cozy! I think it’s really important to send videos and photos of your dog while you are away. I think it’s best to keep you updated. I will ALWAYS keep you informed of all activities and if I have any issues. I have a clean sweet home and would love your dog to add to its joy. As a stay at home mom and homeschool parent I have the time to care and give your dog attention he/she needs. Our family finds so so much joy in caring for dogs. After our dog passed, the void of a dog has been very weird, we love fitting time in our day to care for a special furry friend. We have a lovely walking neighborhood to give your dog the daily activity he/she needs. Our backyard is large and has so many squirrels for your dog to chase. I do not let a dog out and shut a door, the perk of not having a fence is that I am outside with your dog watching he/she as they run around the yard.

About: I have a passion for animals since I was a little girl. I completed an Animal care class back in HighSchool and earned an Animal care certificate. I have a little Yorkie! My Yorkie's name is Cookie, she's a bit of a barker! I also have a very spoiled cat! His name is Tito. He is LOVED in the house. Animals are a great company to have around and can truly be a best friend. I am gig worker; therefore, I’m available any time a customer may need a service. It’s just a matter of letting me know in advance to prepare for the client. I’m in a very secured townhouse where they will have freedom to run around and I can crate them if needed be. If clients has a yard, I usually supervise them even if it’s fenced.

“Joanna and John have been amazing with Peanut. I’ve been to many sitters around the area, in and out of rover, and I’ve never had a better experience than here. They are extremely friendly, super flexible, and will make sure your dog gets all the attention they need. They are very detail oriented to make sure my dog got the best experience and ensured that he will be very comfortable during his stay. Joanna kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and a breakdown of how he’s doing so far. She’s is also attentive and very responsive if I ever had any questions about how things were going. Another plus is that they have a very big yard for peanut to run around in. Joanna will take him outside multiple times a day to run around and makes sure he gets a lot of exercise. She makes sure to create a safe environment for all the dogs to play together as well. The house and yard are kept extremely clean everyday for the dogs, so I know I can feel comfortable every time I bring him over for daycare or to stay the night. All in all, I’m super happy I found them, Peanut has been having a blast. I will definitely be booking more stays with them in the future. If you’re looking for a sitter, I would highly recommend!”

About: Over the years, I've been blessed with friends trusting me to care for their fur babies, and we always have a good time. I observe every tiny detail of doggie behavior and what makes them comfortable. I enjoy letting them smell and observe their surroundings, and get them acclimated before introducing them to my day-to-day lifestyle, but I’m pretty much chill and easygoing. Both of my dogs are obedient and friendly, and have been trained at home. One of our dogs came home as a puppy, and the other one is a rescue, and both get along well. With practice and patience, I’ve learned to take care of most of their grooming, including nails, ears, paw trims, brushing their teeth, de-shedding, and doggie baths. With routines, I like start small with walks to get a sense of their pace and smelling habits so that they enjoy every minute, and if need be, I can help correct some of the leash pulling. I am also well accustomed to administering oral medication when dogs are on a schedule, so if that's something that you need for your pup, I’m happy to help. I'm blessed to be able to work from home, so I spend all day with my dogs. My usual work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9-5 pm, so I usually run my errands in the afternoon, and go for a walk with them if it’s nice out. On occasions, I sometimes take my pups to the dog park so they can burn some energy. Your pup will rarely be alone, but if I need to run errands for whatever reason, I have a doggie room with a camera so I can monitor them. There’s also plenty of toys, beds, and crates, just in case. I don't crate my pups anymore since they've learned to behave when alone, but if you'd like me to crate yours, just let me know. I’m more than happy to accommodate you and your fur baby's needs. In this house, your pet isn't a guest; they’re part of the pack. I have two other dogs that will keep your baby company and provide lots of playtime. I will follow your home routine to a T, and provide lots of belly rubs, walkies, and playtime. My house has a large fenced-in backyard, so they will have ample room to play and frequent breaks. Additionally, the neighborhood is very dog-friendly, so there are lots of sidewalks for walkies. There’s have plenty of toys here, and there are also a few dog parks nearby that we can visit, if your dog is comfortable. If your pup is more on the older side, prefers to sleep all day, and doesn't like to play as much, and/or is more of a loner, that's OK too! I’ll adjust to your routine and keep you up-to-date on everything. Basically, expect a very happy, very sleepy pet at pickup, daily updates, and peace of mind!
