About: Hi nice to meet you. My name is Lohan I am a Belgian American now living in the US. I am new to life in US after living abroad since young, but I am trying to implement myself with the community and help anyone in any way possible. Please feel free to contact me and ask me questions, I am here to help. That being said, with animals I have had cats since I was 8, currently have 2. I also took care of many rabbits. I had a pet ball python named whiskey. And I love dogs, never owned one but take care of family and friends dogs. I would say I am a patient person and always willing to give 100% with your pets. If you dogs is energetic I can match that energy, if you dogs or cats are quiet I can be gentle as well. I am currently waiting for the next academic year to start, therefore I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am free most days at anytime just preferably not late night. I always keep check of my outside doors to be properly closed. I always make sure I have seen all pets before I exit the house. And make sure no pets are left accidentally in rooms.
“Paige was wonderful! She communicated clearly with me both leading up to my vacation and during my vacation. She had just the right amount of pictures and stories about my fluff monsters.”

“Melissa did such a great job of checking in our dog, Hank while we were out of town for several days. After a different walker cancelled on us right before we left, Melissa was willing to come do a meet and greet on very short notice. It was clear right away that she has lots of experience caring for dogs. She was on time every day and left very detailed notes with lots of pictures for every visit. Melissa will definitely be my first call whenever I need someone to check in on Hank!”

“Alyssa is so very sweet and gentle with our furbabies. She’s lovely, uber-reliable (no reminders needed), and absolutely trustworthy! We appreciated communication with feedback about her visits and photos to see that our dogs were OK!”

“Hannah was a fantastic cat sitter! This is my first time using a professional service for my kitties, and I was blown away by her thoroughness and fantastic communication. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely ask for her services in the future if needed. Just a fantastic person through and through!”

About: Hello, my name is Chase, I am a very active dog lover. I have 2 dogs of my own, one German Shepard & one Lab Mix. I love to play with my dogs every day and they take walks every day as well. I like to be outdoors a lot and can take a short walk or a long walk, whatever the preference the client may want. I work full time but am always off by noon so my schedule is always flexible. I like to keep busy, and what better way then to do so by caring for pets! I hope to be your choice for pet care. Schedule: I have a flexible schedule and can be available after 1pm almost every day for dog walking. Stays: I can be available before and after work to tend to your animal! I currently work full-time. But am always flexible to care for pets any time after 1PM. Whether it be a short or long walk, or a stay over job, I am flexible in these areas. I have a fenced in yard at my house and my dogs also free roam in our front yard and are trained to stay in our front yard. I have watched many dogs in the past and always treat dogs as if they are my own.
About: Hello my name is Gloria and I am so excited to not only walk your pup but also get to know your pup on a whole new level. Long walks and play time. I have a 2 year old terrier mix whom I love very much. I believe that dogs whom are alone at home all day become very stressful and anxious. It is very important to interact with the pup, play and go for walks to distract from a long day. It keeps them happy. It’s important for your pup to be happy! Full of energy and love. I am very loving, patient and responsible. Your pup is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet your pup. I know we will be the best of friends
“Kaley was super accommodating and took great care of our cat Billy on short notice. He took to her right away, and she sent lots of great photos/videos as well which we loved seeing!”

About: I've always been a natural caregiver. I've had pets since I was born, took care of my grandmother in her final years, and I take care of patients of all ages everyday as a healthcare worker. My goal is always to look out for the underdog (pun intended). I work at a dental clinic nearby with nights, weekends, and every other Friday off. My 15 minute commute allows me to pop home if I need to let our pup out. I have plenty of time before and after work for walks and snuggles too! I have a fenced in backyard, a super laid back 9 year old lab mix, and two chill cats who pretty much keep to themselves. We have plenty of extra space for crating if need be! And if for some reason your furry friend needs and entirely secluded area, we can provide that as well.
“Samira took amazing care of my cat Reese and went above and beyond—even when the app had issues. They found other ways to keep me updated and made sure Reese was happy and comfortable. I came home to a relaxed cat and a clean space. Highly recommend if you want someone who truly cares!”

“Loved having Luz taking care of my kitties! They felt comfortable enough to come out a lot more quickly than with other sitters. She's reliable and follows instructions for the kitties. Would definitely recommend😊”

About: I have had pets all my life. I started helping take care of my cat and dogs at around 10 years old. I help out with my friends and extended family members pets as well. My dog takes medication in the morning so I can administer medication if needed. She has also gone through two surgeries so I can help during pet recovery as well. I’ve had hyperactive dogs as well as territorial/ toy-aggressive dogs and know how to deal with them. I have also had dogs who needed extra care due to being old. I do know a little bit about training dogs but not much. I work part time and go to college full time. However, I live at home with my parents so I can fit pet care into my schedule. I have a fenced backyard for my dog to run around or just lay outside. I walk her 2/3 times a day and she gets fed twice a day, morning and evening. I also spend a lot of time with her whether it’s playing around or just watching tv. If I am caring for someone else’s pets, I feed the pets and play with them as well as hang out with them.
About: I have been a foster parent for many dogs from animal shelters for about 4 years. Until I foster failed and kept my furry friend Hannah. I have done Rover for years and have the time to play and attend to your fur babies! I have more then plenty of time to play with and be with your pup! I can ensure lots of walks will occur during their stay. I have a fenced small yard. Dogs are able to go use the bathroom outside and play or can play indoors. Hannah loves other dogs.
About: I have been pet and house sitting since 2022. So far I have been pet sitting for friends and their friends, but I wanted to extend my services to the lovely people in my area. I grew up with a big dog as our family pet. Though he is no longer with us he was the perfect sassy addition to our family. Since I have started pet sitting I have had 4-legged clients of ALL sizes, we are talking teacup pup to 100+ lbs. I also have experience with all ages ranging from ~6months to senior and I understand their different needs and energy levels. I love to run and walk especially when a doggy friend tags along. I am by no means a professional trainer but I understand dog’s need for clear commands and exercise I am an engineering student at GMU and my schedule can be a little funky compared to a typical 9-5. Please reach out to check my specific daily and long term availability! I take very great care for the safety of the animals that I watch over. I take special care when unleashing dogs to make sure that we are in a secure location (ex. Closed garage/door or fence). While on walks, even with friendly dogs, I try to stay away from others to prevent any potential incidents from happening. I also have experience with giving animals oral medication. I take close care to keep the medications on schedule and triple check that the medication was taken and not spit out (they can be sneaky sometimes).
“Andrew is an absolute dream dog walker! He’s communicative, takes fantastic pics of our pups, and executed lots of complex instructions on short notice. He came to meet our pups before a week away and they love him. We are definitely going to request him again for future needs!”

Brenda was great from the start. We did a meet and greet that didn’t go very smoothly because my dog acted out on her unfortunately. But Brenda was very professional and understanding. The official first visit went great. I Will definitely be requesting her services again.

Camila was great! She took wonderful care of Bucky, making sure he was fed, loved, and spoiled with treats. She was also very understanding when we had to cancel a visit, which we really appreciated. She’s kind, reliable, and clearly loves animals. I would happily recommend her!

Melissa took wonderful care of my two dogs and was reliable, communicative, and professional throughout the week while I was traveling. She even handled a few unexpected messes with kindness and without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. I came home to two happy dogs and would absolutely book Melissa again!

Ariana was great with our dogs! When she first came over there was an issue with one of their crates and she immediately reached out to me. We also had a change of plans and needed additional care for the week, which she was willing and able to continue with. It was so easy to communicate with her and she left detailed notes about the check-ins. Our dogs seemed to really enjoy their check-ins with her, too! I would rebook her and highly recommend to others.

Andrew is an absolute dream dog walker! He’s communicative, takes fantastic pics of our pups, and executed lots of complex instructions on short notice. He came to meet our pups before a week away and they love him. We are definitely going to request him again for future needs!

Christina is great. I had a last minute obligation after work and she came to my rescue by meeting my fur baby and myself the day before for a meet and greet. She took a lot of pictures and my fur baby looked happy. She came by and walked my fur baby for two days. She lost my fob and immediately sent me the money to cover the cost of a replacement fob. She felt really bad about it. Sometimes things happen in your life that are unexpected and you move on. I was not upset because she rectified it immediately. I will be asking Christina in the future for walks and stay overs. I am happy with her services. 😃

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Dale City with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
