“Very communicative, detailed updates and pictures of my babies! One is a senior and Caitlin was so helpful and patient with her. I’ll be a returning customer. 😊 Thank you for being trust worthy and reliable with our fur babies! It means so much.”
“Vanessa did a great job of taking care of my elderly cat, Bella. Bella's sister had just passed away, and Vanessa helped comfort her while we were gone, gave us daily updates, made sure she was eating and exercising - I recommend to care for your fur-babies!”

“This was my first time using Rover, I also needed a dog sitter really last minute so I was pretty nervous but Brenda put me at absolute ease with clear communication from the start. My dog is kind of a handful because she’s only 9 months old & this was the first time she had been taken care of by a stranger but I don’t think there could have been someone better than Brenda. She understood all the details, asked the right questions during our virtual meet & greet, & provided me with all the useful information I needed to have as a first time user. She took such good care of my pup, we will definitely book her again. Thank you so much Brenda for being so accommodating & kind, we had a wonderful experience.”

“Ariana is such a thoughtful and exceptional pet sitter! She followed the instructions I left to a T, and went above and beyond with detailed reports of her visits. I could tell she genuinely cared about my kitty and spent extra time giving her love and affection. She made sure to send me lots of pictures and videos, and even brought in packages I received while away. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my cat was in such great hands! Ariana is the best!!”

“Samantha is absolutely amazing; she did much more than the bare minimum and made sure to give my cat some playtime and affection while I was gone. She's very good with communication and sending photos — highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I’ve worked with Megan twice now and absolutely appreciate her help so much! She continues to go above and beyond and I plan on continuing to work with her! Thank you so much!”

“Ty was amazing with my two cats! I would highly recommend Ty to anyone who needs a pet sitter. My cats warmed up to Ty so quickly and I could tell Ty really cared for them and it put my mind at ease while I was away!”

“Finding Melissa and having her help care for and pamper Sky during these days has been a true blessing. Both my cat Sky and my family clicked with her immediately. Melissa is incredibly loving and empathetic, as well as helpful and proactive. She kept us posted on everything. We are so grateful for her excellent support. The fact that she is bilingual adds even more value to her work. Thank you so much, Melissa! 🙏🏼”

“Melissa was amazing with dropping in on Zoey! We reached out to her with late notice to help us with watching Zoey and she was able to accommodate our request. For the week, she dropped in daily to feed her, take her out to potty, and played with her. She even accommodated some last minute changes due to some work schedule changes. We appreciated the flexibility and she treated Zoey so well. We will definitely be reaching out again when we need help! She is great! ?”

“Stefanie handled our dogs well while we were out of town. She came at times of day that kept them on a normal schedule of early morning and evening for feedings. There was play time following each feeding and a late night visit just to get exercise before bed. Based on pictures and other information both dogs were comfortable and did not have anxiety as happens with other sitters.”

“Amanda was amazing! She spent time with our girls and was communicative and prompt. She was flexible and helped us modify our booking when we had to cut our trip short due to illness. We absolutely would book again with Amanda for future needs!”

“Taylor is awesome! She walked our dog Carson daily for a couple months and she was an absolute lifesaver. Her flexibility and reliability was greatly appreciated. Carson is not the easiest dog to walk and she did a great job. We would highly recommend her!!!”

Melissa took wonderful care of my two dogs and was reliable, communicative, and professional throughout the week while I was traveling. She even handled a few unexpected messes with kindness and without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. I came home to two happy dogs and would absolutely book Melissa again!

Iqra was absolutely amazing with my cats! She was incredibly attentive, caring, and reliable the entire time. She kept me updated, made sure my cats were comfortable, loved, and well taken care of, and truly treated them like her own. She even went out of her way to bring wet food for them, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. You can genuinely tell how much she loves animals. I felt completely at ease knowing my cats were in such good hands. I would highly recommend Iqra to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and loving cat sitter! 🐾💕

Cathy took wonderful care of my cat, Sky, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very beginning, Sky made a great connection with her and was incredibly affectionate, which says so much about the care and warmth she provides. She truly went above and beyond, giving Sky extra love and attention and making sure he felt comfortable and happy at all times. Cathy was kind, helpful, supportive, and very proactive, always keeping me updated and anticipating anything Sky might need. She was also extremely responsive and easy to reach, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. I would absolutely trust Cathy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. If Sky could type, he’d probably give her 5 paws and a head boop 🐾😄

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
