“Melissa was amazing doing a drop-in visit for our four doggies while we were out all day! We have one dog who is pretty shy as she was feral, and I loved seeing a photo where she actually was by Melissa! Shows us Melissa has great vibes and energy, and when the dogs approve, so do us humans! Thank you so much Melissa!!💜”

About: I worked in a vet clinic as a teenager. Very comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats. Can also care for other pets in household (fish, birds, rodents) I'm employed part-time and have a great deal of flexibility to adjust my hours to accommodate your pet's schedule and individual needs. I will adhere to my clients requests for their individual pets. All pets have their own personality and schedule, and being sensitive to that helps pets be less stressed when their owners are away.
About: I just moved to the area and have three little senior dogs so I am adept at caring for dogs of all life stages. I just completed a PhD, and am currently looking for work, so I can be flexible for walks and visits. I am meticulous with following instructions, dedicated, and compassionate. I live on base and can do visits, walks, and drop-ins for all those on Quantico. If I’m flexible with last minute changes. If I’m available, I’m willing to help. I can care for all ages of dogs. My dogs take medication, so I can handle and understand the importance of administering medication. I am very communicative and love sending photos. And if I don't know something, I will always ask!
“She took amazing care of our dog over the weekend. She was always on time and made sure to communicate if she had any questions. We really liked having her take care of our dog.”

About: I have had pets all my life. I started helping take care of my cat and dogs at around 10 years old. I help out with my friends and extended family members pets as well. My dog takes medication in the morning so I can administer medication if needed. She has also gone through two surgeries so I can help during pet recovery as well. I’ve had hyperactive dogs as well as territorial/ toy-aggressive dogs and know how to deal with them. I have also had dogs who needed extra care due to being old. I do know a little bit about training dogs but not much. I work part time and go to college full time. However, I live at home with my parents so I can fit pet care into my schedule. I have a fenced backyard for my dog to run around or just lay outside. I walk her 2/3 times a day and she gets fed twice a day, morning and evening. I also spend a lot of time with her whether it’s playing around or just watching tv. If I am caring for someone else’s pets, I feed the pets and play with them as well as hang out with them.
About: I have over 15 years of dedicated pet care experience, I've consistently provided loving and responsible care for dogs of all sizes and breeds. My background includes daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication administration, and ensuring a comfortable environment for furry friends. My passion for animals shines through in my attentive care, regular updates, and commitment to maintaining open communication with pet parents. I somewhat recently lost my last furry family member to lymphoma. I’ve yet to get another one as it is difficult losing our furry family member. I would take them out first thing in the mornings, if they didn’t wake us up earlier to go outside. Then give them their breakfast and play/cuddle with them.
“Kaley was super accommodating and took great care of our cat Billy on short notice. He took to her right away, and she sent lots of great photos/videos as well which we loved seeing!”

About: I have been a foster parent for many dogs from animal shelters for about 4 years. Until I foster failed and kept my furry friend Hannah. I have done Rover for years and have the time to play and attend to your fur babies! I have more then plenty of time to play with and be with your pup! I can ensure lots of walks will occur during their stay. I have a fenced small yard. Dogs are able to go use the bathroom outside and play or can play indoors. Hannah loves other dogs.
About: I'm a recent college graduate looking to help out local families over the summer, and I would be honored to help you look after your pet! I graduated this May, 2026 with a bachelors degree in biology with a focus on animal behavior. My Professional experience includes two and a half years working at Olde Towne Pet Resort in Springfield VA, where I handled, cared for, and made sure that up to over a hundred dogs with the help of my coworkers, and up to 40 cats. While I worked at Olde Towne Pet Resort over my breaks, I was a weekly volunteer at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, VA during the semesters. There, I worked with their bird and mammal team in a zoo setting to prepare diets, feed, and clean the enclosures of zoo animals in their care. I love animal behavior, and want to work in a zoo or as a professional dog trainer in the future! In less professional experience, I have grown up with cats, dogs, and even exotic animals like bearded dragons and sugar gliders. I have personally owned and cared for a reactive German Shepherd, so I'm no stranger to loving and caring after what some may call "difficult" dogs. I'm happy to talk about my experience further and will answer any questions you may have, I'm looking forward to helping care for your furry friend! I am a recent graduate currently working to find a long-term job, so for now I have full availability! If for some reason I am not available for some dates, I will reflect that change on my availability. But, I anticipate very few days where I am unavailable. If entering your home for a service, I will leave it in same or better condition then when I entered. Nothing will be touched or used that isn't specified as okay to use by the owner. Any backyards will be checked for open gates before dogs are loose! I am capable of following complicated diet and care instructions, and I am happy to give your pet as much love as they want.
“Alyssa is so very sweet and gentle with our furbabies. She’s lovely, uber-reliable (no reminders needed), and absolutely trustworthy! We appreciated communication with feedback about her visits and photos to see that our dogs were OK!”

About: Hi. My name is Keyah. I have been a pet owner since I was 6 years old. My first pet was a cat. I had a Shih Tzu, then a Yorkshire Terrier. Now I have 3 mixed breed dogs, 2 of which are rescues, all from different backgrounds. With the love and care I provide, each dog gets along great! I love all dogs and breeds. I can't wait to share my love with your fur family! I worked in education for about 15 years. I taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th and 5th grades. I am currently on summer break and have more time with your fur baby. I have 3 mixed breed dogs. We go to our neighborhood dog park every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I allow my dogs on the couch, they have dog pillows to lay on, and they have blankets in their crates to keep them comfortable.

About: I have been around dogs and other pets my entire life, I am looking to get into training dogs professionally. I have walked dogs since I was 8 and have house sat for families with all kinds of animals. I am currently building my real estate business so when I am not on the phone or showing houses I am free to take care of pets and helping anyone out! I have two very high energy dogs at home and grew up with a little 10 pound dog so I understand how to take care of all types of dogs and keep a close eye on them to make sure they aren’t getting into anything or potentially getting hurt.
“We used Daisy in a pinch for a dropin visit and she gladly accepted. We're lucky to have someone close by that you can easily tell loves her own pups as much as anyone, definitely recommend!”

About: I've grown up around animals all shapes, sizes and personalities and have grown to love them all. I don't mind the more "in your face" fur babies (literally and figuratively) and have plenty of energy to keep up with them or address any of their needs. I work a pretty standard 8am-3pm schedule and free on weekends to provide pet care. I also live an active lifestyle and frequent the local parks for runs, so I do not mind a furry companion tagging along. I understand every pet is different and their personality may vary from person to person. So, I am open to visiting beforehand to make sure you and your fur baby are comfortable and that trust is established.

Hana did an amazing job taking care of our dogs and cat for the weekend! She arranged to come and meet the dogs before hand, and was prompt to her visits! We received lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. Our pups were definitely well taken care of while we were gone! I’d recommend Hana to anyone looking for a pet sitter! She’s great!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
