About: In addition to being an approved foster home for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and one very cute hamster throughout my 48 years. After both of my senior rescue pups passed away from old age during Covid, I've really missed having a furry companion running around. I'm not quite ready to have my own pet full-time again but enjoy caring for others' furry friends between foster pups. Open to full day, evenings, or weekends. Seniors have a special place in my heart and are always welcome. I am very experienced with those that have special needs or medicines. I do ask that all pets are kid friendly as I have a 10 year old "trainer" that comes with me and really enjoys reading to the pups at bedtime. Though my son will keep his distance from dogs that are skittish, we want a safe and calm place for both the pet and child to stay when they're in our home. For stays in our home, especially those last minute needs, we have beds, crates, bowls, toys, and even various types of emergency food just in case. We're who you need in a pinch or if your flight is delayed on the way home. Boarding in our home always comes with multiple walks a day and often a fun adventure and patio time! Working from home makes flexible pick up and drop off scheduling a breeze for pups staying with me! I look forward to making your pet part of our family while you're away. Be sure to let me know if they'd enjoy the park and long walks or prefer a more laid back stay with extra cuddles or space to decompress and we'll adjust. We sit for many families in our neighborhood and several prior dogs have walked with us to and from school (Hi Georgie!)... while others have napped most of the day away. (Hi Duke, Lana, and Mimi, I'm looking at you!) Need me to pick up to make it easier to head out of town? Or deliver once you're home? I gotcha! I have a small fenced in yard and lots of open green space out back to keep your pup busy! Does your pet prefer a walk around the neighborhood? We'll show them around around and where the best town "gossip" is located. Our "fur-iends" who visit love to check their "pee-mails" and we know all the great spots. Have a well behaved pooch? Your pet will always have free range of my home, if they're most comfortable contained near their humans I can close off doors and block off stairs! We even have extra floor coverings for those a little older that appreciate extra traction when walking. Does the pup like crates better at night, just let me know and I'll follow your routine! We have a couple med/lg sized ones here I keep on hand, in case they're needed. I usually keep the doors off so they can use it as a safe place whenever they'd like unless mom or dad prefers otherwise! Safety is incredibly important to us so all animals will stay leashed outside and I have a 2 pet limit set on Rover so things stay calm and we have plenty of scratchies & snuggle time with the dogs who like to hang out with humans. Have a senior pup who wants to hide somewhere quiet? There's plenty of great hiding spots and we'll tote a bed over to their new favorite spot to keep them comfy.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, taking care of both and learning about different temperaments and how to love them the best. I'm more of a cat girl, but I love dogs and I love the playful ones!. I also have a year of experience working at an animal shelter. Walking dogs, feeding and watering them, taking them out to go potty, picking up after them, playing with them outside as well as in their rooms, making and giving them frozen treats. I also worked with the shelter's cats, feeding and watering them, cleaning their litter boxes, bathing them, playing with them, giving treats. I also gave both dogs and cats various medications, whether that be hiding pills in food or applying gels and creams. I am currently self-employed as a nail artist, so I have all the time in the world to devote to your fur babies! I don't have any specific days I need off, I have full availability! Since I have experience in an animal shelter, I can safely walk your dogs and take them out in your yard to play or go potty! I like to say I'm pretty good at being able to gain a pet's trust, treats go a long way in making friends😅😅

About: I've had pets—cats, dogs, etc.—for the majority of my 34 years on earth. Today, my wife and I have 2 dogs, Abbie (an 8-year-old pit mix) and Scout (a 2-year-old husky-shepherd mix). Both our pups are rescues! I have experience administering oral medication. Both of our pups are medicated for anxiety, so I'm quite comfortable with most medication. I also have some experience administering medication to cats. I work from home as a product designer, so my schedule is quite flexible. I typically let the pups out first thing each morning at around 8am, work through the day, but take periodic breaks for potty breaks and playtime. I'm flexible enough to pivot based on the needs of your pet! First and foremost, I have a conversation with every client to determine their comfort level with things like walks...some things I ask to get started: 1. Does your pet get along with other animals? If not, what are the circumstances or triggers? Abby, for example, doesn't do well with larger dogs because she was bullied as a puppy, so we avoid those triggers to keep her safe. 2. Is your pet a chunky muffin who is being calorie-restricted? Or is it challenging to get them to eat anything, period? 3. How does your pet handle on a leash? Should I watch out for lunging? Do they chase postal service workers? 4. Does your pet chew things that could be dangerous, like electrical cables? These questions help me keep your pet safe and happy at all times!

About: I have done both house sitting and dog walking for many years now. My mother did Rover for a few years and she showed me how to be responsible with other people's animals. She has even refered some of her customers to me. I am very flexible and will take the greatest care of whatever animal you have. I have a dog and two cats at home and have walked and dog sat before so I am very experienced for whatever needs you may have for your animals. Whatever you need from me while I am responsible for your animals I will make sure to do and do it with care and respect. I hope you choose me for the pet care services I provide. About: Having taken care of a precious Springer Spaniel for 14 years (Cocoa), I'll do my best to take care of your dog as if he or she were my own. I'm usually quite responsive when it comes to bookings and arrangements, responding within 15-20 minutes. I'll take them out to play and walk and feed them at least three times a day. I'll also bathe them, if need be. Most importantly, I will be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure that your dog will have fun while with me. I currently have open availability in my schedule, so I could most definitely sit your dog full-time if necessary. Above all else, I just love working with dogs as they are my favorite animal.

About: I’ve had the joy of owning an American Akita, a Pitbull mix, and a Husky, so I’m familiar with different breeds and their unique personalities. I know how important it is for your dog to feel safe, happy, and cared for, and I do my best to make sure they’re comfortable while you’re away. I currently work from home mon-fri from 8:30-5:30 but I will have plenty of time throughout the day to love and care for your dogs. I have a fenced backyard and a dog park in the neighborhood to keep the dogs entertained. I also have the luxury of being able to work wherever so I’m able to care for dogs in my clients home as well.
