“Madison did a great job caring for Arthur! Perfect amount of communication, showed up right on time and did everything that was asked. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter! Would definitely book with her again.”

About: As a devoted dog mom and remote professional, I know the importance of creating a loving, structured environment for pets. My daily routine includes feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for my own pup—who’s happy to share her cozy space with new friends. I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and will care for your pet with the same thoughtfulness and affection I give my own. Since I work from home most of the time, I’m able to offer flexible care throughout the day. Whether it’s boarding, playtime, or check-ins, I’ll be there to ensure your pet feels safe, engaged, and loved. Your pet’s needs won’t just fit into my routine—they’ll help shape it. I provide a calm, pet-friendly home shared with my sweet and social dog. The space is clean and comfortable, with plenty of room to rest or play. I closely follow your pet’s care instructions and am happy to crate if needed. Safety and comfort are my top priorities—because I know that peace of mind for you starts with a safe, happy pet.
About: A lifelong animal lover, I'm passionate about providing exceptional care for your furry friends. I have three years of experience providing pet sitting and care for three lovely cats at home. Professionally, I have cared for both cats and dogs short term and recurrently. I am comfortable caring for more than one pet at a time. I have experience with special needs pets, particularly older pets and pets that take oral medications. I enjoy helping shy pets feel comfortable and loved. Punctual and responsible, I offer peace of mind to pet owners. I'm excited to meet your dogs and cats and give them the love and attention they deserve! I am available as a part time or full time sitter and dog walker. I have enough flexibility to make caring for your pet fit comfortably within my weekly routine. I make sure to make pet safety and comfort a priority. I take into account my own experience caring for pets, the owner's guidance, and the pet's comfort and body language into ensuring a safe environment for pet care. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and punctual pet sitter with years of experience caring for both my own and other's pets.
About: I've been taking care of animals on and off since I was a young child, and have experience with just about every breed and species! I am consistently described as reliable and responsible by employers and those working closely with me. I look forward to giving you and your pet a great experience. I work part-time, so I have open time daily. I can typically adjust my schedule so that I can be available to care for your animals! I currently live in a location where I cannot have pets inside, but I spend a lot of time outside in the beautiful city scape of Savannah and would love to add your pet to the mix.

About: I started caring for dogs in 2017 when my family welcomed our first dog into our home. Since then, I’ve gained experience caring for my neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, providing them with attention, companionship, walks, and loving care. In 2024, I welcomed my own dog, Milo, a mini Goldendoodle who has helped me grow even more as a pet owner. I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care I give my own. Taking care of pets is already a part of my everyday life with my dog Milo. I enjoy going on walks, playing, and making sure he feels happy and cared for. I love creating a safe and loving environment for pets, and I’m excited to bring that same care and attention to your furry family member. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I like to follow their normal routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them some extra attention and company. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every dog like I would treat my own dog, Milo. I’m also happy to send updates and pictures so you can feel reassured that your pet is having a great time while you’re away.
“Abigail was a wonderful Petsitter! She was so communicative and easy to work with. I felt very reassured that my cat was in good hands! I would have no hesitation booking her again.”

About: Your pet's happiness and safety are my top priorities. I'll provide dependable care, lots of attention, and regular updates so you can relax knowing they're in great hands. As a part-time employee and a college student in my final semester, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. I plan my days carefully to ensure every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's walks or drop-in visits, I'm committed to being reliable, responsive, and giving each pet my full attention♥️ Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. At my home, I have a securely fenced yard for my doggies. In a client's home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any specific care requests. I also provide plenty of attention, playtime, and updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Pets = Family🌸

About: Responsible graduate student and lover of all animals. Happy to spend time with your cat or dog and will show them the love and care I’d show my own pet! I’m a full time PhD student but my mornings are typically flexible. I have plenty of time for walks and spending time with your pets. If anything, it’s also a nice study break for me! I had a beloved poodle for 16 years and he was like a brother. I show every animal the same love I gave my sweet dog.

About: Ever since I was little I've always been around animals, watching over both family and friend's pets. I've watched and cared for dogs of all ages and sizes from small to large and young to old. I am also not a stranger to dogs with special needs; such examples as blindness, anxiety and separation anxiety. I am currently enrolled in Northern Virginia Community College and have my classes on Tuesday and Thursdays but I am completely free any other days including weekends. Currently my house is not suitable for any pets as my landlord does not allow any, so I am only offering my dog walking services, check in visits and overnight stays.
“Reese was fantastic with our two cats while we were gone for a week on vacation. She was prompt on her arrival and sent pictures every day. When we got home, everything was clean, organized and our cats were happy. Will definitely book Reese again!”

About: I love animals and am a huge dog lover! I have a pit bull myself, she is 3 years old, my best friend, my whole world. I’ve done Rover in the past and it filled my heart with joy to meet so many pets. I have taken care of a lot of my friends dogs, such as husky’s, Pomeranians, Italian greyhounds, and others. I look forward to taking the best care of your own beloved pets. I am very flexible with my schedule. After working as an office manager for a doctor for 14 years, I have decided to take time off and do things I really love and enjoy. I have a pitbull myself, we have a fenced in backyard that she uses for potty breaks and to bathe in the sun when she can. She gets to go to the dog park, weather permitting and gets a few walks per day.
About: My name is Leigh, and I am a dedicated pet sitter and dog walker with a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up in North Carolina, I was surrounded by both large and small animals. I have personally owned dogs for the past 25 years. Following the recent loss of our two beloved dogs in 2024, I found that pet sitting and walking would be a meaningful way to continue sharing my affection for animals. I am available for pet sitting services in your home as well as my own, which features a large, securely fenced yard. I am eager to meet your pet and provide them with attentive care and companionship. I would be happy to provide you with regular updates, including texts and photos. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience to discuss your pet care needs. I work in an office during the week and on occasion from home. Weekends and evenings I am home and will spend time with them. I am also well versed in special needs as my babies have had medical issues. I have given medication and shots to my animals and happy to follow your care list and needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fairfax Station
Rachel has been great with our adult dog and our very young puppy! We needed someone to come and check in on the puppy while we're at work, feed him, and take him out. She gives a comprehensive update everyday and has taken some very cute pictures of the dogs, including our older girl who refuses to look at a camera. We're very grateful she's been able to give us a hand!

We have a very shy and timid dog, but Forest's calm energy, patience, and gentle approach quickly won our dog over. Beyond her great temperament, Forest is extraordinarily reliable and always on time. We trust her completely and couldn't be happier with her service!

Ella took amazing care of Bailey while we were away. She was attentive, patient, reliable, followed our routine perfectly and sent the best daily photo updates. I was able to relax on my trip knowing my fur baby was well taken care of. We will definitely book Ella again!!

Jing is the petsitter I trust the most! She is so sweet and kind to Pepper and Walnut. Pepper is a big dog and can intimidate some people, but Jing wasn’t fazed by his size at all. He adores her and gets so excited when she shows up. She also gave medication to Walnut and double checked she didn’t avoid the pills hidden in her food. She’s very responsive and takes lots of pictures of them when she visits. She even cleaned their bowls her last visit before our return. She will be our petsitter for as long as we have our dogs and she’s still pet sitting 😊

Cindy is a life saver ! I booked her last minute and right there and then she went as soon as possible to do the drop in for my pets. Cindy truly cares for your pet ! She will go above and beyond. Cindy was so sweet , my fur baby’s got so comfortable and felt a good connection with her right away. Cindy thank you again! Will be booking again!

Tracy has been a great sitter for our puppy. She loves her and takes her on long walks. She is very loving and experienced and our puppy gets very excited when she sees her. She is very punctual and always easy to communicate with and very flexible. She is the best sitter we had so far!
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Sheila was with our little diva. We now copy her sked for our older chiweenie for walks and meals. She found a better rhythm that’s working great at addressing our dog’s old lady dog issues. So glad we met Sheila here, we’ll be asking for her help again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
