Hello, my name is Rachel. I grew up surrounded by dogs, always stepping in to take care of neighbor's dogs and cats when they asked. When I moved out of my parents house I desperately wanted my own four legged best friend, however, I understood the financial responsibility and that I did not have the proper home a dog truly needs. To fill this gap I began volunteering at local shelters as well as walking and sitting dogs when I wasn’t in class. It had been a great way to fill a void in my life and give me some extra money while completing my undergrad and masters. I understand that it can be hard to put your trust in a stranger, but I promise to love your four legged best friend as if they were my own!

She followed all of our detailed instructions perfectly, including feeding schedule, litter maintenance, and playtime routines. What really stood out was how much genuine care and joy she brought to every visit. Rachel didn’t just pop in and out; she stayed extra time to play joyfully with Toto, keeping him happily entertained and making sure he felt loved while we were away. Our kitten was clearly thrilled with the attention and came out of his shell even more because of it. Rachel is professional, reliable, warm, and clearly passionate about animals. Schedule
Currently, I am a PhD student at George Mason. This means that my schedule is fairly flexible! I will always be open, honest, and upfront about when I can and cannot be there with your furry best friend. With school starting back up, I will not typically be available during the day on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. However, depending on the time you are looking for, I may be available to accommodate morning and evening requests! I also have sporadic meetings throughout the semester, but I will always be honest with you about when I can and cannot be there with your furry best friend.
