Hello, my name is Rachel. I grew up surrounded by dogs, always stepping in to take care of neighbor's dogs and cats when they asked. When I moved out of my parents house I desperately wanted my own four legged best friend, however, I understood the financial responsibility and that I did not have the proper home a dog truly needs. To fill this gap I began volunteering at local shelters as well as walking and sitting dogs when I wasn’t in class. It had been a great way to fill a void in my life and give me some extra money while completing my undergrad and masters. I understand that it can be hard to put your trust in a stranger, but I promise to love your four legged best friend as if they were my own!

I will always care for your pet as if they were my own. Again, it’s hard to leave your best friend with a stranger, I say that from personal experience. I want you to have confidence in me and know that your pet is safe.
Ratings and reviews
Rachel has been great with our adult dog and our very young puppy! We needed someone to come and check in on the puppy while we're at work, feed him, and take him out. She gives a comprehensive update everyday and has taken some very cute pictures of the dogs, including our older girl who refuses to look at a camera. We're very grateful she's been able to give us a hand!
As always, Rachel went above and beyond. Our cat loves her like she’s part of the family! 😊

Rachel did a wonderful job watching both our dogs. She was on time, stayed longer than scheduled and simply gave them the love and care they needed. Our dogs were much more relaxed then when returning from other trips. I will not hesitate to use her again. Thank you Rachel.

Schedule
Currently, I am a PhD student at George Mason. This means that my schedule is fairly flexible! I will always be open, honest, and upfront about when I can and cannot be there with your furry best friend. With school starting back up, I will not typically be available during the day on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. However, depending on the time you are looking for, I may be available to accommodate morning and evening requests! I also have sporadic meetings throughout the semester, but I will always be honest with you about when I can and cannot be there with your furry best friend.
