About: I’ve had a dog for four years now! I foster cats for the past year now and I love spending time with both dogs and cats! I recently graduated and have not started work yet! As of right now, I am full-time open to helping out! I’m open to spending nights as well! I don’t prefer to house cats or dogs in my own home. We have an invisible fence for Milo at my house. He uses collars for it
“Dionisia is a great pet care taker . She is very good and patient with handling dogs with anxiety like mine and I can tell my dog loved her as well. She send photos and always communicated very well with me. I 100% trust and recommend her for anyone who may want to book with her !”

About: I volunteered in my local shelter throughout college in Birmingham and Mobile. My total volunteer experience is around 5 years during which I fostered dogs for the shelter. I have three furchildren (Atticus Catticus, Alexandria Hamilton, and Layla). I am also responsible, trustworthy and “like” all cute Facebook animal videos. My availability is open until August 24th. After that, I am available after 230pm. My goal is to make sure your pet has the best experience while you are away! I’m a teacher who is off for the summer! I can drop in during the early morning, afternoon, or late evening. During the school year, I’m available after 2:30pm. Animal care is a part of my daily life since I have pets of my own. I follow the owner’s directions and make it my goal to ensure the pet is comfortable in their own space. Whether it’s a calm, gentle voice or yummy treats, I try to make sure pets feel at ease.
“Rachel is so wonderful with our senior husky! We get the best stories in the Rover cards about their conversations and we always known our pup is well taken care of you. Rachel is the best!”
“Megan was fantastic taking care of JacQueese. She had good communication with me and I could tell from the pictures JacQueese enjoyed her time with Megan. I will definitely ask her back the next time I’m out of town.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for quite a long time! Always owning different animals growing up from a bearded dragon, multiple dogs, guinea pigs, fish and more! I also pet sit for my friends very frequently as they go on vacation and have always gotten great reviews!! I have very flexible hours and am free quite a lot! I would love to take care of your furry friends! I currently just graduated high school about a month ago and I’m trying to find things that I love to fill my time! I have a lot of free time now that it’s summer and I love staying busy! Flexibility is very easy as I can drive and be with your pet whenever you’d like! I have a fenced yard at home and take care of a medium sized dog. She’s very hyper but I don’t mind a little chase to get her back inside! I love to cuddle and spend quality time with my dog but also understand when she needs her alone time!
About: I’ve always believed that dogs aren't just pets, they are loyal companions who deserve a sitter who truly 'gets' them. When your pup is with me, they aren’t just a 'client' on a schedule; they’re a guest of honor getting premium belly rubs, long exploratory walks, and all the 'good boy' affirmations they can handle. Choosing a sitter is about finding a surrogate best friend for your dog while you’re away, and my goal is to make sure their tail never stops wagging. Whether we’re playing fetch or just relaxing on the couch, I treat every dog with the same love and devotion I’d give my own, ensuring they have a 'staycation' that’s just as fun as your trip My flexible schedule means your fur babies are always a priority, allowing me to easily adapt to their specific routines and energy levels. Since I’m not tied to a strict 9-to-5, I can offer the dedicated "best friend" time and attention they deserve throughout the day. You can rest easy knowing I’m available to give them the consistent care and long walks they need without ever being in a rush. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, which is why my home features a fully fenced-in backyard for secure playtime and a scenic lake nearby for peaceful daily walks. Your fur baby will also have a built-in playmate in my friendly doodle mix, who loves welcoming new friends into our home. Whether I am caring for them at my place or yours, I focus on creating a high-trust, supervised environment where your dog feels safe, socialized, and truly treated like family.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood. Growing up my family had a Dachshund — my first lesson in just how much personality a small dog can pack — and later a German Shepherd, who taught me that larger dogs need confidence, consistency, and genuine respect. I also spent years walking a neighbor's Irish Setter, which gave me an early appreciation for athletic, high-energy breeds that need real exercise and engagement, not just a quick lap around the block. Most recently I had a rescue dog I adopted when he was older and already managing some minor health issues. He later developed a heart condition that required daily medication — which I administered myself throughout his illness. Caring for him through that journey gave me hands-on experience with senior dog care, medical management, and the kind of patience and attentiveness that serious health conditions demand. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs for neighbors and friends — from drop-in visits to boarding them in my own home. My regulars have included a Westie who, despite the breed's famously stubborn reputation, spends most of his time demanding belly rubs and reminding me that Westies are really just cuddly dogs in a tough-dog costume. I have also cared for a Pit/Boxer mix who turned out to be one of the most docile, cuddly dogs I have ever had the pleasure of caring for — a reminder that reputation and reality are often two very different things. I judge dogs on who they are, not what breed they are. I also manage a regular medication routine for the Westie in my care. If your dog has a medication schedule, it will not be skipped, forgotten, or treated as an inconvenience. I am fully dedicated to pet care right now — home throughout the day, taking a limited number of dogs at a time so every guest gets real attention. Whether your dog needs a calm quiet environment, daily medication, or just someone who will truly enjoy their company all day — I am that person. I am home all day every day and fully available for pet care morning through evening. No day job, no busy schedule pulling me away. I follow each dog's individual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. Pet care is my full-time focus and I treat it that way. My home is calm, comfortable, and set up with your dog's happiness in mind. Every dog in my care gets out daily — just nearby is a beautiful park with a lake that makes for a perfect morning walk, along with plenty of neighborhood routes for dogs who love to explore and sniff every corner. Inside, dogs have comfortable resting areas and a relaxed, welcoming environment to settle right into. Your dog will never be cooped up or bored.
“We are so happy to have Sophie help us out with our senior GSP. She asked great questions as we were getting to know her, which made us feel more comfortable that our dog is in great hands!”

About: I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone new. My goal is to make both you and your dog feel completely comfortable. I provide frequent photo updates, follow your pet’s routine closely, and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and cuddles while you're away. As a dog and human mom, I will take care of your pups and home like my own. I enjoy walking, playing, and chilling out with dogs of all kinds. I'm free to help you with all your dog and house-sitting needs. Rest assured that everything will be taken care of and you might even find it better than you left it! I will care for your animals however you know is best for them. I like to get plenty of exercise, cuddles, and crate time, as needed.
About: I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including care of my family’s dog for over 16 years. I treat every pet like family and understand the importance of routines, safety, and comfort. From fun walks and playtime to knowing what pets can and can’t eat—and plenty of belly rubs—I provide attentive, loving care. When I’m with your pet, they have my full attention so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, trustworthy, and someone you can rely on to care for your dog or cat while you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins, rather than leaving them alone for long periods. Because I’m home, I can closely monitor their comfort, routines, and needs and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I provide attentive, loving care whether pets are in my home or in a client’s home. I live in a townhouse with a fenced backyard where pets can safely go outside, play, and relax. I also have access to a nearby large backyard for additional space and supervised playtime when appropriate. In a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and stress-free by maintaining consistency and giving them my full attention.
“Ella was absolutely amazing with my dog Chewbacca over the weekend! She treated my little boy with so much love, care, and respect the entire time. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. Chewbacca was so happy and comfortable with her, and you can truly tell she genuinely loves animals. Communication was great, she was very kind, attentive, and went above and beyond. I will 100% be booking with her again in the future. Highly recommend Ella to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

About: Hey, friends! Welcome to Waggin' & Walkin'. I've had many types of animal family members in my life. From dogs and cats to a ferret and a guinea pig! I've also volunteered at the Rota Animal Welfare League while stationed in Spain. My duties included feeding, cleaning the grounds, and spending time with my furry pals. There's no doubt that your dog will be in great hands. Whether it's feeding them, walking them or simply relaxing with them to ensure they're comfortable, I'll be there when you can't to ensure they're good to go 💯👍. I have a really great schedule which will allow me ample time to take care of your pets needs. My typical work schedule is from 6am-2pm so any time after that I can assist. From walking to pet sitting, I'll ensure they are loved and cared for so you can relax and focus on what you need to do. As of now I plan to perform the following services: Dog walks, Pop-ins and pet sitting at the client's home. I might add Boarding in the future. When you're not home I will do all tasks that you require to ensure your loved pet is nourished, interacted with and feels safe & happy.
About: I have been with rover for a couple months now and have sitted many different types of dogs. I have also taken care of four at once. I grew up with 2 dogs so I know how to play, feed, take out the dog when needed very well! I’ve been around dogs my whole life, many family members of mine and my friends own dogs I take care of often. Unfortunately I do not have my 2 dogs anymore. They lived very long and healthy lives but now I would love to take care of your pets to ensure they’re safe and happy too. I still have school going on but before I go to school I take the dogs out and feed them. I’m back around 3:30pm and take them out again and feed them later when my client wants me too. The weekends i’m completely free. This schedule worked great when I had my dogs. I took out and helped my dad feed my own dogs every day for over 5-6 years. I’m familiar with how dogs communicate their needs and I’m very attentive with them. I have a fenced in backyard and extra leashes, bags, bowls, dog food, treats and dog beds just in case! I feed the dogs depending on the time my clients give me and take them out on walks at least twice a day if the dog can handle it. Throughout the day I do take the dogs to the backyard especially if it’s very hot, like during the summer, the walks are shorter and take them to the back more.
About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets with different needs. I’ve learned how to care for my one year old dog since he was only a couple weeks old. I now understand the patience and energy young dogs require by. I also currently care for my 15-year-old senior dog, which has taught me how to provide gentle, attentive care for aging pets. In addition to dogs, I also care for two birds, giving me experience with daily feeding, cleaning, and handling routines for feathered friends. Whether it’s a high-energy pup, a senior pet who needs extra comfort, or birds who thrive on consistency, I bring care, responsibility, and genuine love for animals into everything I do. Pet care is a natural and important part of my daily routine. I currently work a part-time job 2–3 days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to provide consistent, quality care for pets throughout the week. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or overnight sitting, I’m able to plan around my schedule to prioritize each pet’s needs. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I always make time to ensure they’re happy, safe, and well looked after. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether they’re in my home or in their own. I’m always attentive to each pet’s needs, routines, and behavior, and I make sure they’re comfortable and secure at all times. When pets stay at my home, they have access to a fully fenced backyard and a doggy door for safe, supervised outdoor time. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and clean — a place where animals can feel relaxed and cared for. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and attention I give my own, always maintaining their pet’s routine to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.
“Katherine was amazing with Coal and Vanilla! She was super responsive, kept us updated, and really took the time to play with them and make them both feel loved. We came home to happy kittens. Highly recommend and will definitely book her again!”

“Mellissa is trustworthy, dependable, prompt, communicative, and affectionate. She was patient, kind, and caring to my two dogs (one is a 5-month-old puppy who is still potty training). Melissa went above and beyond to care for my dogs. She took them for walks, replaced their pee pads, supplied new food, drink, and treats, and played with them. I enjoy reading Melissa's notes and pictures, which she shares after each visit. Melissa is an amazing pet sitter, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Meghan was the perfect match for my furry friends Meeko and Kiara. I had only adopted my kitties 6 weeks prior to my trip and was a bit nervous about leaving them. Meeko was the curious one, but Kiara was very shy. Meghan came by for a visit ahead of time to meet all of us. it was great. All throughout the stay Meghan sent photos during each check-in along with a note about how the little ones were doing. All were great friends by the end and Meghan will be the first one I call the next time I need to go out of town.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Burke
We had a great experience with Sonia! We booked her the day before we needed a dog walk, and she was incredibly accommodating. When we ended up running late getting home, she was able to come back and walk our dog again on very short notice, which we truly appreciated. Sonia is reliable, communicative, and follows instructions carefully. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable dog walker!
Jing is the petsitter I trust the most! She is so sweet and kind to Pepper and Walnut. Pepper is a big dog and can intimidate some people, but Jing wasn’t fazed by his size at all. He adores her and gets so excited when she shows up. She also gave medication to Walnut and double checked she didn’t avoid the pills hidden in her food. She’s very responsive and takes lots of pictures of them when she visits. She even cleaned their bowls her last visit before our return. She will be our petsitter for as long as we have our dogs and she’s still pet sitting 😊

Lauren was wonderful! I enjoyed receiving pictures of my pup from every visit. She was great with communication, always prompt and on time! My pup was so happy to see her on every visit! I would highly recommend her and will be booking again for our next trip!

Krysta was communicative and extremely responsive before, during, and after planning and check ins with our big dog. She shared photos and updates, which gave us such peace of mind while away. Our pup was happy and relaxed with her! We lost connection while away and though we got it resolved, she even offered to come back and check things out. We really appreciated her services and resolve to make sure Meeko was taken care of.

Ella was absolutely amazing with my dog Chewbacca over the weekend! Highly recommend Ella to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!

Cindy is a life saver ! I booked her last minute and right there and then she went as soon as possible to do the drop in for my pets. Cindy truly cares for your pet ! She will go above and beyond. Cindy was so sweet , my fur baby’s got so comfortable and felt a good connection with her right away. Cindy thank you again! Will be booking again!

David and his family went above and beyond to care for our golden while we were away. It was our first time leaving Hank alone at our house for the weekend so we were filled with nerves. That was until we received the first pictures and rover card for their first visit. It was evident that they made Hank feel comfortable and even excited when they arrived! They popped in for 4 hour-long visits each day, doing two long walks and making sure he was fed, put to sleep, and played with each time. It was wonderful seeing multiple members of the family there with him. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

We were impressed with how thorough and detailed David was during the meet and greet, and this carried over when we were away and to the attention he gave to our 2 large pups for a week. Once all of his questions were answered, it is clear he provided excellent care and carried out all instructions to the tee. He sent updates 3x a time with pictures so we knew they were doing well - exactly what you want for your fur babies and so you can enjoy your vacay without that worry. We would absolutely book David again!

Tracy has been a great sitter for our puppy. She loves her and takes her on long walks. She is very loving and experienced and our puppy gets very excited when she sees her. She is very punctual and always easy to communicate with and very flexible. She is the best sitter we had so far!
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Sheila was with our little diva. We now copy her sked for our older chiweenie for walks and meals. She found a better rhythm that’s working great at addressing our dog’s old lady dog issues. So glad we met Sheila here, we’ll be asking for her help again.
