About: I have owned dogs my entire life and am lucky to still be caring for my childhood dog (17 years old!). Because of this experience, I know some dogs require a routine schedule to make sure they continue to be happy and healthy. Every dog has a one of a kind personality and I love getting to know each dogs quirks and little joys! I will be working close to a 9-5 schedule around 4 days a week. I will be able to give potty breaks or walks before and/or after my work during the work week but I am much more flexible Friday-Sunday. I live in an apartment so I unfortunately cannot offer dog sitting at my place at this time. Because I live in an apartment, I make sure to give my dog morning and evening walks and can make sure your dog gets the same treatment!

About: I have currently have 2 dogs which I adore so much! I love playing with dogs and love spending time with then and other dogs in my neighborhood on my free time. I will ensure your dog feels at home and will take care of them as if they were my own. I currently work from home full time along with my fiancé. I wake up early to walk my dogs in the Morning before all my work calls and will take them out again usually at noon after my last call. I also have a third person (my mom who’s retired) that is free all day that watches the dogs when I’m in my office. The dogs usually are free to roam around the house and there’s usually a person on all 3 floors. I have a fenced back yard that the dogs can play if they like. I also have a large crate in my basement as well. There are at least 2 people at home most of the day that will watch the dogs play. I am very attentive when I dog watch and will play with the dogs and/or walk them on my free time.

Growing up my family had a Dachshund — my first lesson in just how much personality a small dog can pack — and later a German Shepherd, who taught me that larger dogs need confidence, consistency, and genuine respect. “Henry is a great sitter who was able to accommodate care on short notice for my quirky Golden Koda, who cannot be near another dog as he gets fear reactive; thus he must be the only dog in care. We had a successful meet & greet, and Henry asked a lot of good questions. He communicated and sent pictures regularly and kept me informed about how Koda was doing. I felt comfortable leaving my pup for a doggie staycation while I got to spend a few much-needed days on a trip with some family members. I would not hesitate to have Henry care for Koda again or to recommend him to others.”
“We highly recommend Erika! We started with a meet-and-greet, and both Wishbone and Jack warmed up to her immediately. Wishbone is usually very shy with new people, but he felt safe enough to sniff her and lick her leg right away. They just finished an overnight boarding stay at her house, and it was a wonderful experience. Erika kept her promise and sent us photo and video updates, which gave us great peace of mind. Both dogs looked completely relaxed and happy when we picked them up. We will definitely be booking Erika for boarding again”

Their comms were very clear and timely, they definitely know what they are doing in terms of thinking forward about how to give your dog the best experience and to give you peace of mind while they are being boarded there. Both their home and their yard are well-tended - no hazards for dogs like wires, broken boards, etc. They were also flexible in terms of dropoff/pickup times, as well as accommodating reasonable requests for toys, treats, and food options. They also allowed a friend of mine and their dog (who recommended me to Helena and Nathan) to stop by for a short playdate. Great experience and will book again!”
