Why me? I have loved, house-trained, and cared for nearly 25 cats and dogs over 45lbs. Several of my pets in my household needed end of life care or special medical treatment, too, which means I had extra love to give and ease their comfort. I have petsit for friends, family, and my extended network for the past 10yrs, and supported many of them through their special and unique needs and care. So, here I am, making it an official hobby.

In any care with any pet, I listen to their expressions and behaviors for both their and my security. In your home, I will follow your pet's natural safe spaces to make sure that both of us have time and space to know each other better, which doesn't disrupt their normal routine, and keeps us both comfortable and safe. It is important for me to always listen to your pet's and your needs and concerns, more than just for safety, but also fun! This means I will need information on your pet and your rules, expectations, and specific treatment and care.

Michelle was so wonderful! I have a 2 year old dachshund but I had also just gotten a puppy, and I was so nervous to leave my 11 week old baby doxie, but it went great! Michelle stayed in touch daily, sending a photo or a quick message throughout the day. She tried to keep both dogs on their schedule and reinforced the potty training as much as possible. I could tell from her photos and videos that the dogs were happy and not stressed at all. I felt so much better about being away knowing they were being well taken care of. She even fed our frog (who's in a fish tank). I will definitely be asking Michelle to sit for us again.
