Pet care fits well into my routine as a college student. My schedule is flexible, and I’m able to come home during breaks, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m dependable, organized, and happy to adjust my availability to meet each pet’s needs, whether that’s daily visits, extended stays, or extra check-ins during holidays or school breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home and in clients’ homes, I follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure they’re always supervised and comfortable. Although my yard is unfenced, I never allow pets outside unattended and make sure all outdoor time is safe and controlled. I provide plenty of leashed walks, exercise, and enrichment to keep pets happy and stimulated. I’m attentive to doors, gates, and leashes, and I always prioritize a calm, secure environment so pet parents can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
A typical day
A typical day with pets I watch is structured, fun, and tailored to their energy level and personality. We start the day with a walk or potty break, followed by feeding and some playtime. Throughout the day, I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and exercise—whether that’s more walks, interactive play, or relaxed cuddle time. I also make sure pets get rest, fresh water, and any needed medications. In the evening, we wind down with another walk or calm play and lots of affection, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for from morning to night.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. It’s also helpful to know their personality, energy level, and any fears or triggers, as well as how they interact with other animals and people. Information about leash behavior, training cues, and favorite activities helps me provide the best care possible. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and right at home.
