“We are always grateful for John and Joanna for taking good care of our girl. She loves them and is most happy to be with them 😊 We trust them fully to care for her when we are away.”

“Carlos went above and beyond in the care and love he provided my dogs. They were regularly walked throughout the day and enjoyed their time with his dog, Sasha. He sent me many, many photos and videos showing them eating heartily, walking the sidewalks, and sleeping soundly. I highly recommend Carlod to others. You will have peace of mind.”

“Our pups love going to Veronica’s. They love being around other dogs and must play a lot. They come home ready for a nap. We never worry about them while we are away. She sends photos to update. It’s their doggie vacation.”
“I love using Candice to take care of Ahsoka. She is reliable and flexible and consistently sends me pics, and she was this time as usual. I look forward to hiring Candice again.”

“Can’t recommend Suzi enough, she was so great with our pup Penelope! Penelope has an injured leg and Suzi made sure she didn’t run at all, and I can tell Penelope felt very comfortable and safe at Suzi’s house. I love that Penelope was spoiled and allowed to sleep in the bed with Suzi! I loved the pictures and updates and you can truly tell that Suzi has a warm heart and animals love her! Thank you so much Suzi!!”

“Mariel and her family were lovely. We received daily updates with pictures and videos. They took Remy on all sorts of fun adventures, entertained him with new toys and gave him lots of snuggles. Our pup is our baby and we would happily use Mariel again in the future.”

“Rebecca is great and is always our go-to for the care of our puppy. She is very responssive and always keeps us updated on the care of our boy with pictures and messages. Second to none. Thank you, Rebecca!”

“I can’t say enough good things about the care my 12-year-old baby Dharma received! Leaving an older dog behind is never easy, but from the moment we connected, I knew Dharma would be in loving hands. Mei was incredibly attentive, patient, and truly treated Dharma like part of the family. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Dharma came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and understands the needs of senior pups, Mei is the one. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my girl!”

“Jorge and Alejandra were amazing sitters! They sent us some wonderful pictures of our dog and were great at communicating. Very flexible and accommodating when our travel plans changed. Would highly recommend!”

“Maren and her family provided excellent care for our dogs- a large mix and a senior beagle (and the peculiarities that come with an older hound- 2x daily pills, frequent potty breaks). Maren is very kind and thoughtful; I felt completely comfortable leaving my dogs in her care while we were out of town. Maren sent photos daily. My dogs had a great weekend with Maren and her family!”

“Rosario was amazing with my dog Blaze! She gave him lots of walks, playtime, and activities, and he loved making new friends with her dogs. She treated Blaze like her own and kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout. I felt completely at ease knowing he was so well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“I do not have enough kind words to share about Cheryl and Gustavo. I was out of the country for 3 weeks and very anxious about who would watch my dogter while I was away. I've had some pretty negative experiences on Rover before and had a bit of anxiety about leaving her for such a long time. When I met Cheryl and Gustavo, my anxiety was immediately calmed. They are such warm, caring, and kind people. I received daily pictures of my dog playing, cuddling, walking, and looking right at home with Cheryl and Gustavo's family. She even made a good friend in their dog as well. They are the absolute best and highly recommend them for your dog sitting needs. They treated Toots like their own and I know she is going to be so excited to be with them when we rebook for her next stay. 5/5 stars - trust me when I say THIS the family you want your fur baby to be with. Thank you immensely, Cheryl and Gustavo!!”

“This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures. She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! Leslie is cause for peace of mind, great happiness and satisfaction for Frances and me.”

“David and his family took great care of Rocky. Good communication, reliable, friendly and they sent photo updates frequently. I appreciated his kids giving Rocky lots of love and attention. Will definitely book again!”

“Leia had another wonderful stay with Andrea, and she’s coming out of her shell more and more! I’m so glad Andrea can offer her a safe place to learn how to be open to new people and experiences ❤️”

“Jona was absolutely wonderful with our skittish pupper and high energy herder. She was incredibly patient and took the time to make sure our dogs felt safe and comfortable, which we really appreciated. We received frequent updates, photos, and check-ins throughout the stay. It was so reassuring to see our doggos in good hands. Communication was excellent; she was always quick to respond and super easy to coordinate with. We’ll definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Leslie is THE BEST! We were a little worried because this was the first time we left our dog with someone new, but after doing a meet and greet we knew our dog Roxy would be in great hands. During the stay she sent us plenty of pictures and videos updates and Roxy was smiling on them haha we could tell she was happy and enjoying her time with Leslie. She took her on walks, concert, dog park and gave her plenty of cuddles, which Roxy is a big fan! I would/will recommend Leslie to friends and family and here too! She will be the best person to take care of your furry baby with lots of love and fun! Again, thank you Leslie!!!”

“Heather was such a great sitter for our pup! From the very first moment we dropped our dog off she was kind and gentle! She gave us multiple updates throughout each day of our vacation and allowed us to completely relax without the worry of our dog! Thank you again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fairfax Station
Henry is a great sitter who was able to accommodate care on short notice for my quirky Golden Koda, who cannot be near another dog as he gets fear reactive; thus he must be the only dog in care. We had a successful meet & greet, and Henry asked a lot of good questions. He communicated and sent pictures regularly and kept me informed about how Koda was doing. I felt comfortable leaving my pup for a doggie staycation while I got to spend a few much-needed days on a trip with some family members. I would not hesitate to have Henry care for Koda again or to recommend him to others.

We had an excellent experience with Chris and Ellen. They were friendly, communicative, and clearly attentive to our senior dog Macy’s needs. We received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us real peace of mind knowing Macy was comfortable, cared for, and in such good hands. They have a very friendly dog of their own and you can tell they genuinely love and understand dogs. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter.

Serena and family were a home away from home for our girl. She kept us informed of how our dog was doing and sent a lot of pics of her having fun with the other dogs that she has over at her home for daycare. Her large backyard is a wonderful playground for the dogs even in the summer heat with plentiful shade. I felt reassured she would be in good hands while we were away. Serena seems very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior generally. Extremely pleased, and we hope Serena will be available to sit for her next time we are away.
Leigh is amazing! She truly loves dogs and welcomes them into her home as if they’re her own. My senior dog wasn’t eating well the first two nights so Leigh paid extra close attention and tried a few tricks to get her to eat and it worked! My dog had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at her home. She also has a big fenced in yard that was perfect for my hound who loves smells. We will absolutely use Leigh again for boarding.

We left Meeko with Tracy for a week while away at the beach and we truly could not have chosen a kinder, more caring sitter. Meeko is a 150 pound sweet malamute boy who enjoys lots of attention and casual walks and my goodness, was he absolutely the center of attention with Tracy! Tracy went above and beyond, walking Meeko many times throughout the day and ensuring he was set up to stay cool and hydrated. She sent many, many updates and photos every day, which our family looked forward to and appreciated greatly. Her home is so welcoming and located close to several wooded paths, so any dog would be in heaven with her! I cannot recommend Tracy enough and Meeko came home happy, comfy, and sleepy. We are lucky to have found such a wonderful, caring person that we know loved our boy as much as we do. Thank you so much, Tracy!

A big thanks to Natalia for her good care of my dog Yeena. Yeena is a picky eater but Natalia worked to get her meals she liked. Yeena is still learning to socialize so being able to run and play in her yard was perfect. Natalia sent several videos so I could see Yeena was enjoying her visit. I thank her again for her patience and hope we can call upon her in the future.

Josephine was great with my two dogs! She was super accommodating on last minute schedule changes and had no problem administering meds. They loved hanging out in the yard and playing with her dog Mannie. My pups came back happy and tired. I’d would highly recommend her!

This was my first time having a non family member take care of my 16 year old dog. I found Suzi on Rover and felt comfortable with the reviews showcasing how great Suzi was with other senior dogs. Once I reached out to her and I got to visit her and get to know her as a person and her caretaking experience I knew I had found the right person to care for my dog for a long weekend trip. My dog felt right at home as soon as she arrived to Suzi's house and from then on she received only love and the best care. I got daily texts from Suzi telling me how things were going which helped me feel comfortable and enjoy my trip more. Suzi was 100 percent focused on meeting my senior dog's needs and medical limitations. I plan to continue using her caretaking services many more times. I feel very lucky to have found her.

Very happy to have my sweet pittie boarding with Alexis and Ducky again! She ran up to the house with great excitement and was welcomed warmly! Alexis also gave wonderful update pics and info on Envy's stay! She is easy to coordinate and communicate with! Will be bringing my pup back (:
