Yukon can be a bit difficult when he is in a new environment as he is scared of everything but that didn't matter to Veronica. “This is an absolutely fantastic choice for a dog-sitter, in my mind. Leslie was loving, caring and she treated Frances, my terrier-dachshund with the closest and kindest attention—plenty of walks, balanced diet, happy human company to sleep with when she desired, and various places to rest—so Leslie passed those all those important measures.She also sent me photographs with comments fairly often, which delighted me and made me know that Frances was safe and happy! But then, of Great value was the fact that she always could find positive human companionship—her cousin came, and let Frances and another dog, sleep on his knee, looking utterly content, her roommate really liked Frances and showed it, and Leslie did too. AND there was always her dog, and then occasionally a neighbor’s dog or another client’s dog visiting for a number of hours. That was Heaven for Frances, and just what I was hoping for. A place where Frances could be, as Leslie put it, a member of a pack. NOT a large, in any way overwhelming pack, but a small pack, consisting of one or two or conceivably three other dogs, which she could be with. THAT and the essential human warmth which was very much present—was all I could dream of—and Leslie provided it. Thank you so, so much. I will definitely use her services again! Cindy lives very close to us and has a large backyard for the dogs to play in, which was important to us. We didn't want our dogs to be inside 24/7 in a cage like many of the boarding kennels are. Herschel spent the last 10 days with Nancy while we were at our daughter's wedding. I never could have left him anywhere else and felt as comfortable. Herschel had a great time at Nancy's place and I received daily updates and photos. We will definitely ask Nancy to watch Herschel again.
John and Joanna took very good care of our 7 year old rescue. Alvin has not had a lot of experience with boarding and they made him comfortable within the first day. They were very attentive and sent frequent messages regarding Alvin’s well being. We will definitely bring him back the next time we need to board.
We couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter! She is incredibly communicative and always sends tons of pictures and videos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She treats our dogs like they’re her own, makes sure they get any medications they need right on schedule, and goes above and beyond to make them feel loved and comfortable. Honestly, it feels like our dogs get to go on their own vacation whenever we go on vacation! One of our dogs especially loves getting to play with her dog, which makes the experience even more special. It’s such a relief knowing our dogs are in such caring, capable hands. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Denise took great care of my dog, Dallie. Dallie is an anxious dog but Denise showed a lot of patience with her so that Dallie eventually warmed up. She even became affectionate with Denise which she doesn’t always do so quickly. Denise made sure Dallie had her medication every day and even hand fed her since my dog can be a picky eater. She also sent me photos and an update every day so I knew how she was doing. I’ll gladly leave her with Denise again.
Melissa was great! She paid close attention to our instructions and advice. We were nervous because our dogs had never stayed with a non-family member before, but she took care of them as if they were her own. They obviously were comfortable with her and we would definitely use her again.
Cassidy watched our dog Ranger for a week while we were on an international trip. Ranger deals with some anxiety and reactivity to other dogs, but Cassidy did an amazing job with listening to our concerns and making sure we (and Ranger!) felt comfortable. She provided us photos and updates and that definitely let us relax while we were away from Ranger for the first time in quite a bit. Ranger seemed to love his time with Cassidy and we would definitely rebook again!
