Hi there. My name is Mercedes and I am looking forward to meeting you and your dog. If you’re looking for an experienced, compassionate, and responsible pet sitter, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve always adored dogs--they understand you, they provide companionship, and they make your house a home. After 15 wonderful years, I recently lost my dog Lala She was an incredibly well behaved sheltie, and I miss her dearly. I don’t yet have another dog of my own, and I wanted to help others in my community by offering pet sitting services. I’m home full-time, and I have lots of space for furry guests. I pride myself on my customer service skills, and as a former pet parent, I know how hard it is for you to leave your family member behind. When your dog is in my care they will get tons of attention, love, and as much playtime as they need. I have a lot of energy, so your pet will be kept pretty busy! Mercedes is awesome!! It’s very clear she loves dogs - enthusiastically welcoming Cooper each time he stays with her. She’s very attentive in her care and willing to accommodate special requests. Mercedes sends updates and photos during Cooper’s stays showing how much fun he’s having with her!!
Mercedes has been taking care of our Sadie for over 3 years now. When we drop Sadie off, she happily runs and pulls us to the front door. Her excitement is overwhelming. Mercedes always texts us daily pictures of Sadie’s adventures that are adorable. Sadie sometimes has visits from her granddaughters. Sadie is in little girl heaven. The peace of mind knowing that Sadie is always well cared for is priceless. Thank you so much Mercedes.

Mercedes took great care of our one year old Cavapoo Charlie. She provided a loving and caring environment for our fur baby. We will certainly reach out to her for future boarding needs.

A typical day
Our home in Fairfax Station backs up to a wooded area we can explore together. I also have a fenced in yard that dogs can enjoy. We'll do whatever your dog is used to, whether they enjoy playing, exploring on walks, or snuggling together inside.
