Grieving Pet Owner Seeking to Help
I’ve cared for my pet dogs for the last 20 years, two of them required special needs due to illness. I grew up with cats and dogs my entire life and also had a family farm for 11 1/2 years. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds, differing ages and sizes. Both of my last two dogs recently passed away, so I’m seeking to offer care to help others in the meantime to fill the void of the loss. I will care for your pets as if they were my own.

Melissa has been absolutely amazing with Minkie while I was on vacation. 💕 Due to her allergies, Minkie requires a carefully managed diet, regular eye ointment, and close monitoring. Melissa took such loving and thoughtful care of my little baby, making sure all of her needs were met and giving her plenty of love and attention. I’m pretty sure Minkie is already looking forward to her next stay with Melissa! 🥰🐾 Thank you so much, Melissa, for taking such wonderful care of my girl!

Schedule
I currently work full-time, but I telework two days a week. I am available most weekends for now and could also take a break during my in office work days for bathroom breaks or short walks, if needed.

I have a one bedroom apartment. I still have an available crate for use as needed. My complex has a nature trail and dog park on site. There are also other trails nearby.
A typical day
I have a nature trail and dog park at my complex, so I'm happy to get them out for exercise or play with toys, give them snuggles, whatever they like. I have also taken some dogs on hikes or other outings with me, when the owners allow.
