“My only hesitation with leaving a review is that John and his family will get so much attention that they’ll be booked next time we try to use them! Kidding, sort of. Seriously though, they were wonderful. Very communicative and thoughtful. One of our pups is super nervous being left, and John and his wife sent lots of pictures and reassured us that all was going well. We couldn’t have been happier with the visit and we have already booked them again!!”

“This was the first time our dog, Shira, stayed with Catherine, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Catherine asked a number of questions about Shira so that she could make her feel comfortable and relaxed as Shira can be anxious in new environments. Catherine also took Shira on multiple walks and gave her lots of attention so that after just a few hours Shira was feeling right at home.”

“Leaving our dear pup Shadow for 18days was the longest we have left him. We were very nervous but Lindsey came to our rescue! She was so kind and understanding with Shadow and his crazy energy and submissive/excitement pee accidents. She kept us posted about Shadows day and shared pics. She also took shadow for long walks/hike. We are truly grateful to Lindsey for taking Shadow in as her own for such a long time. We hope to rebook with Lindsey whenever ever our next non dog friendly vacation comes up.”

“I can’t say enough good things about the care my 12-year-old baby Dharma received! Leaving an older dog behind is never easy, but from the moment we connected, I knew Dharma would be in loving hands. Mei was incredibly attentive, patient, and truly treated Dharma like part of the family. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Dharma came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and understands the needs of senior pups, Mei is the one. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my girl!”

“Zahra was great, sent a nice video of the dogs enjoying the backyard and was very prompt with pickup and dropoff and communication. Really felt like dogs were well cared fo while we were out of town. Highly recommend.”

“Thank you for taking care of Flash. Was definitely a new experience for him as a switch from a previous caretaker - this experience was awesome for Flash - an experience to interact with Arjun, play Fetch and in the process to even get trained and get Flash used to the atmosphere so quickly 🙏 This was a great exposure and I am confident enough to keep my Flash in a responsble family 🙏”

“I love using Candice to take care of Ahsoka. She is reliable and flexible and consistently sends me pics, and she was this time as usual. I look forward to hiring Candice again.”

“She is truly amazing. I've had many other dog sitters, but this is the first time I've seen my furry friends so happy. My furry friends seemed to immediately fall in love with her the moment they met her. Even though my dogs are abandoned dogs and are very scared. She was like a magician. Than you,Angelique!!”

“Fatima was very attentive to all the details I told her about my boy. I felt very safe and assured leaving him with her and I would definitely go to her again. She is very responsive to any texts and questions you may have!”

“Hoa was great! My husband and I were away for three days, and Hoa took such a good care of our puppy! She also provided daily updates, sending multiple videos and pictures a few times a day :) thanks to Hoa, we were able to enjoy our trip, and our puppy Kringsley was very happy as well! We’ll definitely come back to Hoa when we are out of town.”

“Andrea is awesome!! It was our first Rover experience and it couldn’t have gone better! She took great care of our dog Ginger and sent lots of cute updates of Ginger and her dogs being the sweetest friends! Andrea is very communicative and takes the time to really get to know the dog she is caring for. We will 100% be a repeat client. Highly recommend! Thank you Andrea!”

“Pepper's stays with Hannah and her husband have been awesome. She posts pictures of my dog, communicates throughout the stay and my dog is completely comfortable their home. Thanks Hannah!!”

“Jeannette took good care of LuLu during the stay, and sent multiple pictures updates. I will definitely recommend and will book again if I need a sitter in the future! Thanks again Jeannette!”

“AMAZING. By far our best experience with anyone on Rover! Priscilla was very communicative. Perfect amount of pictures and videos as well as updates on how the stay was going. I could really tell that our girl was getting the care and attention she is used to as well as play time. We have an English bulldog, and anyone with one knows their folds need daily care, and I could see Priscilla gave these areas attention care as well. I would feel most confident and comfortable bringing our girl back to Priscilla without hesitation!”

“Rocky always has a great time with Corey and his fiancée! They treat him as their own! This time was our longest stay and it was stress free! We got updates everyday! Definitely recommend!”

“Very accommodating schedule-wise and understanding of dogs’ individualized needs! Appreciated the communication with updates and pictures during the stay. Will reconnect when needed :)”

“Lee was absolutely amazing with my dogs! I booked very last minute after my original sitter fell through, and I was so relieved that she was available. She was extremely attentive, sent frequent picture updates, and kept me informed the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dogs felt comfortable and at ease with her right away. She was also very well-prepared and had plenty of dog supplies and items on hand, which showed how experienced and thoughtful she is. I would definitely book with Lee again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

We felt so relieved that our slightly elderly dog Layla was able to stay with Susan, who is an absolute gem! She was so welcoming to Layla and we knew that our dog was happy to stay with her because instead of being guarded as usual, she wagged her tail and was excited to see Susan. In our case it helped a lot that Layla was the only pet in the house, since she doesn't do well around other animals. Susan's home is so beautiful and warm, and her yard!!!!! Truly spectacularly gorgeous! We are happy to have found Susan and can highly recommend her. I think Layla could feel her love immediately. So grateful that we found a wonderful home away from home for our precious dog.

Leonard was great! He was incredibly patient with Pepper, who is a ball of anxiety and takes a while to warm up. I really appreciated the updates—the girls always looked comfortable. I also appreciated Leonard’s flexibility when I needed to add an extra day at the last minute. I’ll definitely be reaching out to him again for boarding. Highly recommend!

Ellis is a fantastic dog sitter. She is caring, reliable, and followed our dog's routines to the letter. She gave us updates and was always quick to respond. Our dog felt at home right away and was happy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful sitter!
A few days into our planned two week trip to Scandinavia, we got a call from Joanna. She reported our dog behaving differently, and then a day later pooping with blood. She rushed Bluey to her closest vet, and our dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis, a potentially fatal condition for young dogs. Joanna took Bluey to the vet two more times and faithfully cleaned up after our dog who continued to have accidents in the house. She medicated Bluey as directed and was able to care for Bluey until we could find a city to cut our trip short and return home. We owe John and Joanna many thanks for caring for Bluey and potentially saving his life.

Zahra and her family did an excellent job looking after my little guy. Super responsive and they have an amazing space for you doggies to run around in. Their home was clean, they sat down with me to discuss Xerxes’ needs and made sure to check in when he was with them. I have to also note that she showed a tremendous amount of patience and flexibility when I had a delayed flight from my trip. Would definitely entrust my little guys care to them again.

We cannot thank Catherine enough for the service that she provides. Our pup is always very happy to arrive at Catherine’s and, more importantly, happy and relaxed when he returns home. Catherine was so kind and flexible when our flight was canceled, resulting in what we anticipated would be a very, very late pick up. You should not hesitate to make a booking with her. She will take very good care of your fur baby.

I was incredibly nervous leaving my dog reactive GSD with someone besides family and friends, but Angelina did an amazing job taking care of Zara. Zara was loved on, given tons of attention and was treated the way I’d treat her at home. Angelina asked how often I wanted updates and always sent them at the best times. Zara didn’t seem stressed when she left and because of all of this, I would absolutely book with Angelina again.

This is our second time leaving our furbaby, Peach, with Poornima and she did a wonderful job looking after her! Poornima sent pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day which we really appreciated. Her dog, Arjun (also lovingly known as Joe!!), is very sweet and the best pup friend Peach could ask for. We highly recommend Poornima as she is an amazing and attentive sitter!!!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
