“We cannot recommend John and Joanna highly enough! They took wonderful care of our two dachshunds and went above and beyond in every way. Their communication was outstanding, we received regular updates and fun photos that reassured us our pups were happy and in great hands while we were away. John and Joanna’s attentiveness and compassion truly stood out, especially during a thunderstorm. Knowing our pups are afraid of thunder, they took the time to check in on them and offer extra cuddles, which meant the world to us. They also made sure our dog received his daily skin treatments, which we deeply appreciated. John and Joanna set the standard for what pet care should look like. Warm, responsive, and truly dedicated.”

“Noelle was fantastic with our dog! He was well taken care of, had lots of playmates, and was very happy and exhausted from all the fun when we picked him up. She sent us regular updates and photos during his stay to keep us updated. Thanks for taking such great care of him. We are already planning on booking stays with her again!”

“I highly recommend Melissa. She provides a very loving, caring, and supportive environment for our 12-year-old dog who has anxiety issues. Melissa was diligent about providing our dog her meds, taking her out on walks, and sending daily updates and photos. She also asked important questions to ensure that our dog received the best possible care. The fact that Melissa has a fenced lot and only accepts one dog at a time was a big plus for our situation. If you want superb, loving care for your pup, Melissa is your go-to person!”

“Ashley (and her husband) is an amazing pet sitter! We chose Ashley because she and her husband have done a great deal with feral cats and in rescuing them so we knew immediately that they are compassionate and caring people. They took great care of our cat and he was also able to spend time with Ashley's dog Nike. We have already booked our next sitting dates!”

“Sheridan was wonderful with our cockapoo who loved all the walks and outings with Sheridan and her family. He had a tummy upset from a food transition and Sheridan was kind and knowledgeable on how to help him through it. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. In the end, I was worried he might not want to come back!”

“Hayleigh was so calm with our big boy! She send us photos of his stay. She even helped me with my next booking! This is such a huge relief for us to trust someone to care for our senior Cane Corso. Thanks Hayleigh! We'll see you soon.”

“Tamara was wonderful and worked with my sweet pup who’s had anxiety and made him so comfortable and happy in her home! We got all the updates and sweet photos and she was so wonderful daily with communication! Sam is excited to go back and hang out!! ☺️”

“Tina is the best Rover! She is caring and great with communication and is both flexible and adaptable. Tina kept me updated and this was much appreciated. And my baby loves Tina! I would definitely call on Tina again.”

“Amazing doggie sitter, frequently sent pictures and videos of Bella. Bella was super happy to play with other doggies and run around in a fenced in yard! Highly recommended, I will definitely rebook on our next vacation!”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated and experienced pet caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with dogs and 1 year of experience caring for cats. Animals have been a central part of my life, and I truly enjoy building trust with each pet I care for. For the past 3 years, I’ve also been an active foster with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, caring for dogs in need of temporary homes, and I’ve recently begun fostering cats as well. Through fostering, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with animals of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’ve cared for puppies through senior dogs (up to 15 years old), including pets recovering from illness, surgery, and ongoing medical conditions. I’m comfortable administering medications, following specific care instructions, and providing calm, attentive support to pets who need a little extra care and patience. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and needs a gentler routine, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment. I treat every animal like they’re my own and prioritize communication so you always feel confident while you’re away. Pet care is a consistent and natural part of my weekly routine. I currently foster dogs through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and also care for foster cats, so my days already revolve around feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, training reinforcement, and monitoring overall health and behavior. I’m used to structuring my day around animal needs, including early mornings and flexible check-ins throughout the day. Because I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of needs—from energetic puppies to senior dogs and animals recovering from illness or surgery—I’m comfortable adjusting my schedule to provide reliable, attentive care when needed. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and structured environment for every pet in my care. In my home, I maintain a pet-friendly space that is clean, supervised, and free of hazards, with routines that help animals feel secure and comfortable. I follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, and rest time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines and aim to minimize disruption. I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medication needs, training guidelines, and any behavioral notes. I also make sure doors, gates, and crates are secured and that pets are always supervised during care. Because of my experience fostering through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, I’m very comfortable caring for pets with a wide range of needs, including anxious animals, seniors, and pets recovering from medical issues. My goal is always to provide consistent, attentive care so pets feel safe and owners feel at ease while they’re away.
“6 stars!! I just started using Rover and can’t believe my great luck. Aastha was so incredible with my dog. She sent texts and videos and was so loving to my dog. She walked him on a regular schedule and of course has a fenced yard to run around in. Aside, from the great care, she and her family made me feel so welcome in their home. Her family is just so kind. I highly recommend Aastha for all your dog sitting needs!!!”

“Wyatt came highly recommended from a dog park friend, who also uses Wyatt's services. We left our dog Maggie with Wyatt for a week and Maggie looked great and happy to see us when we picked her up. We received daily updates and pictures from Wyatt to let us know how Maggie was doing which put our mind at ease. Overall, I would recommend Wyatt's service to anyone who is looking for a great dog sitter.”

“Chaoran did an amazing job watching Koa! We definitely will be using her again. She kept us informed and provided a safe place for our boy while we were gone away. Koa had a wonderful time playing with the other dog and we are so glad he had a good time! Thank you, Chaoran !”

“Henry was great watching our two dogs for 8 days. He was very responsive to any questions or information we were seeking. He was highly communicative sending pictures and updates. We could tell he genuinely cared about our dogs. Highly recommended.”

“Absolutely the best Rover pet sitter we’ve had. We left her for 7 days with Walter and he would send us pictures, videos, and updates every day which was peace of mind. I hope the next time we travel Walter’s calendar is open so Bella can have her vacation too! Bella loves other dogs and Walter has two pups of his own so I’m sure Bella was having a blast! Thanks again Walter!”

“Melissa watched our dog Lucy for 4 days and we could not be more happy with choosing her for our pet care. We received consistent updates, photos and videos of Lucy. Lucy looked so content and we could definitely see how Melissa cared for our Lucy as her own, you will feel at ease leaving your pets with her. Melissa is the most wonderful and reliable person you could use for your pet care. 10/10 recommend always! 😊”

Noelle is exactly what I would hope to find when looking for a sitter for the first time with our large puppy. She loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about them. She is also great at communication about your pet. Will definitely reach out to Noelle again for future needs! Thank you, Noelle!

Leonard and Patricia along with their two dogs welcomed Harley and Miami with open arms and tail wags. They felt right at home and played well together. Miami found that her person was Leonard during the stay. Harley was running around with Leonard’s dogs all weekend. Harley usually is the one that follows humans but this time he gravitated to his dogs. We appreciate the level of care that Leonard and Patricia provided to our dogs we will definitely return.

Erika and her family took fantastic care of my pup Willow! My dog is a rescue who is pretty scared of anyone who isn’t me and Erika took that to heart and didn’t crowd her with too much too soon. Willow knew she was safe with her very quickly and Erika’s son and partner even won her over by the end of the stay! I would trust her again with my pup in a heartbeat.

Mei was the best! She took good care of our sweet Maltipoo and sent us lots of updates with pics and videos. We dropped off our puppy early in the am and due to our flight being delayed we also picked up a bit later than anticipated but Mei was wonderful and gracious.

Katie was absolutely amazing!! I had to go out of town at the last minute, and she provided a safe and happy place for Raja, my German Shepherd Mix, to relax while I was out of town. I got multiple updates and photos per day, and she followed every instruction I left to the letter. I highly, HIGHLY recommend booking with Katie if you have a chance, because I know I will definitely be using her services in the future. Thank you, Katie!

Melissa was a professional, punctual, and dedicated dog sitter. Our 2½-year-old English Golden Retriever stayed at her spacious home for two weeks. She has a modest backyard, and the neighborhood is perfect for nice, long walks. Throughout his stay, Melissa kept us updated with everything we needed to know and sent us photos, allowing us to truly enjoy our vacation without worrying about our dog. We highly recommend her services! 🐶❤️

We’ve trusted Ji ung and hyunjoo with Prince Henry multiple times on week long vacations and we always come home to a very happy and tired boy! They are always so flexible with their availability and we appreciate them accepting visits even on short notice. Would highly recommend!

Ashley was absolutely wonderful with Ronda! 🐾❤️ From the beginning, I felt comfortable and confident knowing that Ronda was in good hands. She took great care of her, and I truly appreciate the attention, kindness, and love she gave her during her stay. Thank you so much for taking care of Ronda and treating her so well. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and responsible to take care of their pets. We will definitely be booking with her again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you for your excellent service! 🐶❤️

Ellis is a fantastic dog sitter. She is caring, reliable, and followed our dog's routines to the letter. She gave us updates and was always quick to respond. Our dog felt at home right away and was happy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful sitter!
Zahra and her family did an excellent job looking after my little guy. Super responsive and they have an amazing space for you doggies to run around in. Their home was clean, they sat down with me to discuss Xerxes’ needs and made sure to check in when he was with them. I have to also note that she showed a tremendous amount of patience and flexibility when I had a delayed flight from my trip. Would definitely entrust my little guys care to them again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
