About: Hi! I’m a dedicated and experienced pet caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with dogs and 1 year of experience caring for cats. Animals have been a central part of my life, and I truly enjoy building trust with each pet I care for. For the past 3 years, I’ve also been an active foster with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, caring for dogs in need of temporary homes, and I’ve recently begun fostering cats as well. Through fostering, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with animals of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’ve cared for puppies through senior dogs (up to 15 years old), including pets recovering from illness, surgery, and ongoing medical conditions. I’m comfortable administering medications, following specific care instructions, and providing calm, attentive support to pets who need a little extra care and patience. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and needs a gentler routine, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment. I treat every animal like they’re my own and prioritize communication so you always feel confident while you’re away. Pet care is a consistent and natural part of my weekly routine. I currently foster dogs through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and also care for foster cats, so my days already revolve around feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, training reinforcement, and monitoring overall health and behavior. I’m used to structuring my day around animal needs, including early mornings and flexible check-ins throughout the day. Because I’ve cared for pets with a wide range of needs—from energetic puppies to senior dogs and animals recovering from illness or surgery—I’m comfortable adjusting my schedule to provide reliable, attentive care when needed. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and structured environment for every pet in my care. In my home, I maintain a pet-friendly space that is clean, supervised, and free of hazards, with routines that help animals feel secure and comfortable. I follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, and rest time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines and aim to minimize disruption. I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medication needs, training guidelines, and any behavioral notes. I also make sure doors, gates, and crates are secured and that pets are always supervised during care. Because of my experience fostering through Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, I’m very comfortable caring for pets with a wide range of needs, including anxious animals, seniors, and pets recovering from medical issues. My goal is always to provide consistent, attentive care so pets feel safe and owners feel at ease while they’re away.

About: I believe that dogs deserve the best experience in life: Sun-bathing, free-running and healthy eating. With my care, I can ensure that the dogs will never want to leave! I am available at home everyday to play and take care of the dogs. I can take them out for walks and play frequently as well as clean them if they get too dirty from playing outside! I have a fenced yard with access of great sunlight and fresh air for the dogs to run around and play. Lots of land and toys for them to explore.

About: I’m a Stay at Home Mom with 2 boys. We will be able to give your dog/precious furry child our full attention. *We only need your dog to be comfortable with elementary school age boys.* Your dog will stay active with us, we’ll do everything we can together! We recently lost our sweet dog of 14 years and we are only ready to babysit and care for dogs in our local area at this time. Not ready for our own yet! So there are no other animals in the home. Your dog will have 1:1 care. Let me know specifically how you care for your dog and I will do my best to make sure your dog feels loved and cozy! I think it’s really important to send videos and photos of your dog while you are away. I think it’s best to keep you updated. I will ALWAYS keep you informed of all activities and if I have any issues. I have a clean sweet home and would love your dog to add to its joy. As a stay at home mom and homeschool parent I have the time to care and give your dog attention he/she needs. Our family finds so so much joy in caring for dogs. After our dog passed, the void of a dog has been very weird, we love fitting time in our day to care for a special furry friend. We have a lovely walking neighborhood to give your dog the daily activity he/she needs. Our backyard is large and has so many squirrels for your dog to chase. I do not let a dog out and shut a door, the perk of not having a fence is that I am outside with your dog watching he/she as they run around the yard.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life including dogs, cats, hamsters, you name it! I’m currently a dad to a 6yo Yorkie who is and my wife’s whole world. I will treat your dog the same way I treat mine, like family! I’m currently a stay at home dog dad so my schedule is very flexible and accommodating. I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention you’d want them to have. I own a condo on the bottom floor of a very pet friendly neighborhood. Right outside my door are huge amounts of green space and paved trails for walking. I also have a very large fenced in balcony (ground floor) that faces a garden area and trees which is a nice relaxing spot for pups and cats to sunbath!

About: We’re a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love of animals and years of experience caring for both dogs and cats—especially rescues. We’ve worked with anxious and reactive pets, administered medications, and provided the extra attention they need to feel safe and comfortable. Our own family includes a 65lb rescue Foxhound and a rescue tabby cat, so we understand the quirks and joys that come with rescue pets. Audrey works from home full time, and Shane is a teacher, which means we have a flexible schedule and your pets won’t be left alone. We’ll make sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved like our own. We make it a priority to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. Our typical day looks like this: 6–7 AM: Wake up, potty break in the yard, and breakfast 12–1 PM: 45-minute walk 4–5 PM: Playtime in the yard, potty break, and dinner 8–9 PM: Final potty break in the yard before bedtime For dog boarding: Our dog loves meeting and playing with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in playmate. Our cat will always be kept in a separate room to ensure everyone’s comfort. Since Audrey works from home full time and Shane is a teacher, your dog will always have company and supervision. For cat boarding: Your cat will enjoy a private guest room set up just for them, complete with a litter box, cat tree, toys, and all the comforts they need. To help them feel secure, one of us will spend time in the room during the day—often working from there—so they’ll have companionship and attention throughout their stay.

About: I have a passion for animals since I was a little girl. I completed an Animal care class back in HighSchool and earned an Animal care certificate. I have a little Yorkie! My Yorkie's name is Cookie, she's a bit of a barker! I also have a very spoiled cat! His name is Tito. He is LOVED in the house. Animals are a great company to have around and can truly be a best friend. I am gig worker; therefore, I’m available any time a customer may need a service. It’s just a matter of letting me know in advance to prepare for the client. I’m in a very secured townhouse where they will have freedom to run around and I can crate them if needed be. If clients has a yard, I usually supervise them even if it’s fenced.

About: Hello! I have always had dogs growing up and I always had to take care of them. You know, doggy walks, taking the dogs for a potty break and feeding them. That didnt stop and continued throughout college since I helped my wife to take care of her foster doggies! We will take turns between weeks. We had an incredible experience since these dogs were able to get adopted. We recently lost our dog, Tucker at 12 years old and we’re not ready for another dog yet, but have a great home with a great big fenced in backyard, plus close to baseball fields from an elementary school and a great neighborhood for walks.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a young child, and have a deep love for animals. I have two fur babies of my own: one since he was puppy and the other since he was 1. I trained them both, and especially offered additional support and love to my one dog who was a rescue after being a surrender. I have incredible patience, and offer a safe, healthy, and loving environment for your precious fur baby. I currently work from home full time so your fur baby will never be deprived of attention. I have lots of dog toys, 2 dogs who are wonderful with other dogs, so your pup will have lots of stimulation. We will be sure to go on plenty of walks to get fresh air and time outside. Although I do not have a fenced yard, your pup will not have to worry about getting time outside. We will take plenty of walks. My 2 dogs are very social and love to interact with other dogs. If I am coming into your home, I will follow all directions you provide, and ensure your fur baby feels comfortable.

About: My name is Abigail, but prefer to go by Abby. I’ve taken care of dogs throughout my entire life and I’m dedicated to making every dog be safe and happy. I’m currently a volunteer at the Fairfax County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, clean up after them, and supervise the dogs at play. But I’m trying to work up and get hired as a full-fledged dog daycare attendant at an official facility. I currently live with my mom and younger brother, so even if I have to leave to run errands, my family is guaranteed to keep company for all pets unless we all have to leave for work. I’m available through any day of the week or weekend. Becoming a dog sitter is my passion and dream job so I will be on call at any time or day. I currently have no pets and do not have a fenced in yard. If needed, I can crate dogs and keep them on a leash when outdoors.
