About: I’ve been surrounded by pets all My life! Dogs have the most pure love and loyalty! They deserve the best care and im here for it! I always home! I live close to nice path and parks to walk dogs. My dog Perla loves to play with others dogs! A house full of dogs is a house full of love! Our family always have dogs/pets around so we are very careful leaving things around. We love walk the dogs and go to play since is important for the dogs health! Also on hot days I will make sure they get enough water and taking care of their paws!

“Our dog Summer has been having a great time in weekly doggie daycare with Katheryn (and her dog Phoebe). Katheryn is very active with Summer, taking her on multiple walks and to the dog park. Summer loves being outside and sniffing around so this is perfect for her! Katheryn has kept me posted on how the day care went with notes, pictures, and videos of their activities and hanging out at the house. Katheryn also has a back yard where Summer loves to hang out and she can come and go as she pleases. I definitely recommend Katheryn!”

About: We’re a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love of animals and years of experience caring for both dogs and cats—especially rescues. We’ve worked with anxious and reactive pets, administered medications, and provided the extra attention they need to feel safe and comfortable. Our own family includes a 65lb rescue Foxhound and a rescue tabby cat, so we understand the quirks and joys that come with rescue pets. Audrey works from home full time, and Shane is a teacher, which means we have a flexible schedule and your pets won’t be left alone. We’ll make sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved like our own. We make it a priority to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. Our typical day looks like this: 6–7 AM: Wake up, potty break in the yard, and breakfast 12–1 PM: 45-minute walk 4–5 PM: Playtime in the yard, potty break, and dinner 8–9 PM: Final potty break in the yard before bedtime For dog boarding: Our dog loves meeting and playing with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in playmate. Our cat will always be kept in a separate room to ensure everyone’s comfort. Since Audrey works from home full time and Shane is a teacher, your dog will always have company and supervision. For cat boarding: Your cat will enjoy a private guest room set up just for them, complete with a litter box, cat tree, toys, and all the comforts they need. To help them feel secure, one of us will spend time in the room during the day—often working from there—so they’ll have companionship and attention throughout their stay.

Also, coming from education and child development background (i used to teach in FCPS elementary for 5yrs before pandemic) , I see so much resemblance in teaching children and taking care of animals - rules and routines, along with positive rewards and experiences. And i believe building a trustworthy relationship creates a safe space for anyone or any fur babies. And I’m confident your dog/cat would wanna come back to stay with us. “Like most puppy parents, choosing a sitter or daycare can be a daunting task. I have an 11 month old new rescue who LOVES to play with other dogs and love to run. I unfortunately don't have the luxury of a fenced in yard so I was looking for a place that offered a place where my dog can play and interact with other dogs. I looked at a few brick and mortar daycares around the Northern VA area (around Fairfax and Springfield, Burke) and found that a lot of them didn't have an outdoor space and the daycare was entirely inside. Many of the daycares also had a LOT of dogs at one time to one person supervising--which is not ideal and even the one I tried beforehand let me watch over webcam and I could tell the person was overwhelmed. We tried dog parks--but we know how that story goes. You never know what will come in to a dog park, and some owners are more responsible than others. So thus, we began our search and found Serena. Nestled on large plot of land with a fenced in yard, Serena has doggy heaven. There is a doggy door so that dogs can come in and out as they please. Serena herself is a delightful woman who you can tell is passionate about dogs. She loves them, all shapes, all sizes, she has an affection for each dog--can tell you all about each of her dogs that she cares for personality. She loves every one of them like her own. She is thoughtful and methodical when it comes to how she introduces the dogs to each other and screens dogs before she accepts them as clients. She sent pictures and video throughout the day and I knew my pup had the best time. This is a very long winded review but I am so thankful to have Serena close by to love and care for my pet. We can't wait for our next daycare adventure!”

“Joanna and John have been amazing with Peanut. I’ve been to many sitters around the area, in and out of rover, and I’ve never had a better experience than here. They are extremely friendly, super flexible, and will make sure your dog gets all the attention they need. They are very detail oriented to make sure my dog got the best experience and ensured that he will be very comfortable during his stay. Joanna kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and a breakdown of how he’s doing so far. She’s is also attentive and very responsive if I ever had any questions about how things were going. Another plus is that they have a very big yard for peanut to run around in. Joanna will take him outside multiple times a day to run around and makes sure he gets a lot of exercise. She makes sure to create a safe environment for all the dogs to play together as well. The house and yard are kept extremely clean everyday for the dogs, so I know I can feel comfortable every time I bring him over for daycare or to stay the night. All in all, I’m super happy I found them, Peanut has been having a blast. I will definitely be booking more stays with them in the future. If you’re looking for a sitter, I would highly recommend!”
