I work from home so your pet will not spend any time alone. First thing in the morning I will let your pup out to the fenced in back yard so they can do any urgent business. Then we'll go for a walk around the block and/or a visit to the neighborhood dog park. Your dog will have unlimited opportunities to relieve themselves in the backyard throughout the day, and I always do at lease one mid-day walk/visit to the dog park. After work we'll go for another walk and be able to really play at the park for a little while (if you aren't comfortable with dog park visits we can stick to walks). We'll spend the evening playing and relaxing at home and then after dinner/before bed we'll do a final walk around the block. If your pup needs a bathroom break in the middle of the night they will be let out in the back yard. I am home most of the time on the weekends aside from a run, bike ride, trip to the grocery store, etc. I'll never be away from home more than 3 hours.

I live in an end unit townhome with a fenced in yard (the fence is less than two years old with no gaps or damage). Your pup will have virtually unlimited access to the backyard to go to the bathroom or just relax outside. I do have one dog of my own, she is a 25lb rescue from Puerto Rico, she is extremely friendly and loves other dogs so your dog will have a buddy and won't be alone. There is also a dog park in my neighborhood and we go there at least twice a day (weather permitting, and only if you are comfortable with that). I am very active and get out for a walk at least 3 times a day. Dogs are people too so your pet will be able to sit on the couch and sleep on the bed if you are ok with that - I am happy to stick to any rules you implement at home.

Your pet will have immediate access to the back yard for morning relief then we’ll head out for a morning walk or trip to the neighborhood dog park. We’ll go for a mid-day walk as well. During the day your pup will have access to the backyard. They’ll have a four-legged friend in my own dog Phoebe who loves to share her toys. After work we’ll head out to the dark park for fun and exercise. We always end the day with an easy walk around the block before bed.

Our dog Summer has been having a great time in weekly doggie daycare with Katheryn (and her dog Phoebe). Katheryn is very active with Summer, taking her on multiple walks and to the dog park. Summer loves being outside and sniffing around so this is perfect for her! Katheryn has kept me posted on how the day care went with notes, pictures, and videos of their activities and hanging out at the house. Katheryn also has a back yard where Summer loves to hang out and she can come and go as she pleases. I definitely recommend Katheryn!

I have witnessed Katheryn with dogs both as a young teenager and also as an adult. I have also seen her interact with the pets of others. She is more than happy to be playful as well as going the extra mile to make sure they are well cared for. Her love and affection for dogs and other pets is very evident.
Katheryn has kept our two dogs multiple times and always cares for them as if they’re her own. She is a dog person through and through, and my dogs are always excited when they realize where they are. She has handled allergies and medication at various points when watching them. They also get along with her own dog so well. She’s our first choice pet sitter!
