“Taylor is a wonderful dog sitter who has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly personable and treats my dog, Wynter, like family. Wynter has become best friends with Taylor's dog, Stuffy, and her bagel, forming a delightful trio. Taylor's loving and attentive care has made every experience stress-free for both me and my dog. It's evident that she has a genuine love for animals, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate and reliable pet sitter.”

About: When I'm not around a dog I feel like something's missing. I've had at least one dog in my life for 35 years. Taking care and giving attention to a dog it’s just part of my life and always has been. I'm currently working from home part-time so I have plenty of availability. This includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I'm also an early riser, so I available early in the day if needed. I'm up every morning at 6:30. My dog, Leo and I have a morning routine. We go downstairs together, and I fill his food and water bowl. I make my coffee, and while it's brewing, we go out on our first short walk. I live in a 3 story end-unit townhome with a dog trail behind our house. He loves cuddling next to me whenever he gets the chance. He goes out 2 to 3 more times during the day, where i try to give him a good walk. He loves to play with toys, especially if any one at home is sitting on the floor. He also has a bedtime he has set for himself, and let's us know when it's time to go upstairs for the night. We're the first choice doggy sitters for our families. Our house is very dog safe and very dog friendly.

About: Hi! I’m Lily — My pets are truly my babies, and I’m absolutely the type who feels like I personally birthed my cats and dogs. I know what it’s like to have a soulmate‑pet, and I treat every furry friend with that same level of love and respect. I’ve been caring for animals for 20+ years, starting with my first puppy at age 10. Today, my family includes five dogs and two cats, so I’m no stranger to different personalities, needs, and routines. I’ve also used Rover as a pet parent myself and was lucky to have amazing sitters — now I’m excited to offer that same peace of mind to others. I live in a spacious home with a fenced yard and plenty of time and attention to give your loved one. I work remotely 9–5, which means your fur baby gets consistent companionship, walks, and check‑ins throughout the day. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets with unique routines or medical needs (medication administration is fine — just no needles). Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. My two cats will be kept in a separate room, and I introduce visiting pets slowly and intentionally to ensure a stress‑free stay. I also know how important updates are, so expect lots of photos and messages so you always feel connected. Available to take care of your baby night and day. I am home full time and work remotely 9-5. Weekends are open too. Multiple days stay welcome. Additional rates for an extended stay. Feel free to inquire! A Few Notes for a Smooth Stay 1. Routines: If your baby has a specific routine, please share it. Otherwise, dogs will enjoy walks every 2–3 hours and plenty of yard time. Cats stay indoors only — feel free to bring their favorite toys or comfort items. 2. Feeding: Please provide feeding details so I can follow your pet’s normal schedule. I have clean bowls, leashes, and supplies, but you’re welcome to bring anything that helps your baby feel at home. 3. Emergencies: While I’ve never had an emergency with Rover, I know they can happen. Please share your preferred vet and an emergency contact. I also encourage having a payment method on file with your vet just in case. 4. Home Environment: Kid‑free, smoke‑free, clean home. I also have a basement space available if your pet needs quiet time away from others. I only board one family at a time unless you request otherwise for siblings. 5. Communication: Any and ALL questions are welcome. I want you to feel completely comfortable, and I want your fur baby to feel safe, loved, and right at home.

About: I’ve always had dogs, I have a mini Labradoodle that turned a year old in January. She is energetic, playful and very friendly. I’m afraid she would likely be too much for a senior dog. Being retired allows me time for walks and playtime. I now have a year-old Labradoodle miniature that has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs so it’s better to have a younger dog or one who doesn’t mind her energy. I live in a dog friendly community where people know the dogs names more than the owners. We have great areas for walks and socializing. My yard is not fenced but have always taken my dogs for frequent walks.I have blankets for the furniture if the dog wants on the couch, etc.
West Gate dog parents share their Rover experiences
My dogs had so much fun at Heather’s! Her dog Romeo was a fantastic playmate for my dogs; she has a big fenced yard so they were able to get nice and worn out. :-) Heather is very attentive to the dogs and carefully watches their body language, behavior, and demeanor to ensure their safety and comfort. She sent great pics and videos as well. I felt confident that my little ones were in safe and caring hands! Will definitely be returning. 👍
