About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a young child. We had dogs of all kinds that were loved and cared for like our own children. I have tended to puppies up to senior dogs that require medication and special care. I currently am not working and have plenty of time to take care of pets and have a very flexible schedule. I will be available at anytime if want to reach out by text to check on your sweet pets. I have a fenced in yard, space to crate a dog and also can put gates if needed to keep dog in certain areas. I am also able to administer any medication if needed.

Taylor was wonderful with our puppy! This was his very first time with a sitter, and she made the experience so easy and reassuring. She was patient, kind, and helped him warm up to her dogs quickly. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We feel confident about leaving him for boarding thanks to how well the day care went. Highly recommend!

Carolina was so sweet and accommodating!! She had to be ready to receive my pups at 6 am, which is so early and had them for a very long day! I felt relieved knowing that my pups were in good hands. Suki is quite hyper when she first arrives to a new place and Carolina was so patient with her, a true dog lover!!

About: As a sitter, I give every pet the same amount of patience, attention, and care. I’ve always had a dog since I was young and currently own two dogs named Bravo and Taco. My goal is to make every pet feel loved and cared for when taken care of. For senior pets, I understand the importance of gentle care, medication schedules, slower walks, and extra attention to comfort and mobility needs. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions and adapting to each pet’s specific needs to make sure they receive the best care possible. I currently stay at home, throughout the day I watch my dogs. I take them to use the bathroom every 3-4 hours or less if needed. I have a fenced yard and two dogs named Bravo and Taco. I watch dogs throughly to make sure they are well taken care of. I own dog toys to provide for dogs as needed. I am experienced with giving dogs medication as needed.

About: Hi, I’m Lily! My pets are truly my babies & and I care for every furry friend with that same level of love and patience. I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years, ever since I got my first puppy at age 10. Today, my home is filled with two dogs and two cats, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve also used Rover as a pet parent myself and had wonderful sitters, and now I’m excited to offer that same peace of mind to others. I live in a spacious home with a fenced yard, and I work remotely 9–5, which means your fur baby gets plenty of company, walks, and check‑ins throughout the day. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra support or medication. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. My two cats stay in a separate room, and I introduce visiting pets slowly and intentionally to keep things calm and stress‑free. And because I know how much updates matter, you can expect lots of photos and messages so you always feel connected. Available to take care of your baby night and day. I am home full time and work remotely 9-5. Weekends are open too. Multiple days stay welcome. Additional rates for an extended stay. Feel free to inquire! A Few Notes for a Smooth Stay 1. Routines: If your baby has a specific routine, please share it. Otherwise, dogs will enjoy walks every 2–3 hours and plenty of yard time. Cats stay indoors only — feel free to bring their favorite toys or comfort items. 2. Feeding: Please provide feeding details so I can follow your pet’s normal schedule. I have clean bowls, leashes, and supplies, but you’re welcome to bring anything that helps your baby feel at home. 3. Emergencies: While I’ve never had an emergency with Rover, I know they can happen. Please share your preferred vet and an emergency contact. I also encourage having a payment method on file with your vet just in case. 4. Home Environment: Kid‑free, smoke‑free, clean home. I also have a basement space available if your pet needs quiet time away from others. I only board one family at a time unless you request otherwise for siblings. 5. Communication: Any and ALL questions are welcome. I want you to feel completely comfortable, and I want your fur baby to feel safe, loved, and right at home.

Thank you, Ellen! Our pup Cici had and awesome time. She usually doesn't eat when she is at a sitter for the first time. So, we knew she felt safe and at home when she ate while she was there. We loved all the photos, and we could tell she had fun because she slept like a puppy when she came home. We will definitely see you again!

About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for homes, people, and pets. Throughout my work in housekeeping, many clients entrusted me with the care of their pets, including both dogs and cats, often in households with multiple animals. I am experienced with feeding routines, litter box care, walking dogs, basic grooming support, monitoring well-being, and providing both playful and gentle companionship depending on each pet’s personality and needs. I am comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and administering basic attentive care when required. As a former CNA, caregiving has always been second nature to me. Whether caring for people or animals, I lead with patience, compassion, and responsibility. I understand the importance of trust when someone is away from their loved ones human or furry and I take that responsibility seriously. I am also skilled at multitasking and managing busy households while still ensuring each pet receives individual attention and care. My goal is simple: for pet parents to feel completely at ease knowing their pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for in a calm and loving environment. In addition to pet care, I teach classes on Zoom twice a week as part of my regular routine. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and plan my availability in advance. Because of this, I am able to reliably provide dog and cat care services throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed. I am organized, dependable, and committed to making sure pets receive consistent attention and care while their owners are away. I provide pet care directly in the client’s home so pets can remain in a familiar, comfortable environment and keep their normal routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, litter box maintenance, and any special care needs. I also make sure pets receive companionship, attention, and gentle interaction based on their personality whether they are playful, shy, or more independent. I am very mindful of keeping the home clean, secure, and respected at all times. With my background in housekeeping and CNA work, I am used to being responsible in other people’s homes and understanding the importance of trust, privacy, and consistency. My goal is to ensure pets feel safe and cared for, and that owners return to both happy animals and a well-kept home.

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs as well as having my own dogs as an adult. Sadly, my pup passed away earlier this year and while I am not ready to get another dog of my own, I am excited to help care for yours and give you peace of mind while you are away. I have had little and big dogs in my life and am open to all sizes. Your dog does need to get along well with children as my kids love to play with dogs. They are also used to having a senior dog around as our dog aged so they also know when to give a dog space and be gentle. I work from home most days and your dog will have free rain of our house. I work from home most days so will be around to take your dog for walks as they need them. Your dog will have free rain of our house and we have a nice back outside area to walk or run around in. We also have a beautiful nature trail right behind our neighborhood. I love to spend time playing or just chilling and petting/loving on your dog. I love walks outside and if your dog likes to play with kids we have 5 of them that love dogs. They are also used to senior dogs so know how to be gentle. We do have stairs so your dog needs to be comfortable on stairs or small enough to carry. I will follow whatever your food/med/walk routines are.

About: I have a passion for animals since I was a little girl. I completed an Animal care class back in HighSchool and earned an Animal care certificate. I have a little Yorkie! My Yorkie's name is Cookie, she's a bit of a barker! I also have a very spoiled cat! His name is Tito. He is LOVED in the house. About: "Always do the right thing even when no one's watching." With decades of experience caring for big/small pups, cats, farm animals, Guinea pigs, and more, I offer a cozy & loving environment in my peaceful Cottage-style home for your furr babie(s). I have a big fenced yard for the pups to securely play, run, and a convenient doggy door for their convenience. Your pup will get lots of love and cuddles, guaranteed. ❤️ IMPORTANT: When requesting to book me, you will be promoted to select one of the two services I provide: The first is "Boarding", which means your pup will stay with me overnight for consecutive days in a row and getting lots of love and endless attention 🤗. The second service is "Doggy Day Care", consisting of your pup being dropped off by you (or designated guardian) and picked up that same day by you or guardian of choice. This also means your pup might get to play with other client's fur baby in my home for Doggy Day Care, and not staying overnight. If your fur baby requires overnight care even on a day that is not consecutive, and you prefer they're not around other client's pets but mine (Teddy & Daphne), then the service you want is definitely "Boarding". Happy to clarify this with you during our first Meet'n Greet" and modify the booking for you if necessary. ❤️ Thank you so much 😊 I'm the favorite aunt of many furry babies care for within the safety of my home for friends and families. I'd be so happy to provide the care and love to fur babies needing a getaway while their parents go on vacation :). If you're interested in a house visit or a meet'n greet for your pup(s) to meet my two little pups before booking, that works great! Simply send me a message and I'll coordinate with you :) I am available holidays too!! Warm Hugs! ENVIRONMENT: I have a 0.22 acre fenced yard, a doggy door, a patio with a Ring Camera and sensor lights. I have cameras all around the house as well and will never walk the babies without their leash and harness. Your pups will not leave my premises or be under the care of no one else but me. Depending on what service you need, the pups sleep with me, and will receive endless cuddles, and meals (following the owner's instructions), and will get along with my very two friendly small dogs, Teddy and Daphne.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Linton Hall on Rover is $32.19 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 3,847 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Linton Hall. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Linton Hall commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 3,847 sitters in Linton Hall, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
