“Elizabeth is terrific!!!!! She is hands down best sitter we’ve ever had. She house sat and dog sat for us for two weeks and sent multiple pictures and communications per day. My dog is very well taken care of, and house left clean. She followed all our instructions for care of the dog and clearly loved our dog. Highly recommend her. We will be using her services again for our next vacation.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with a giant breed dog and three cats, currently have two cats of my own, and I am an animal shelter volunteer! I’m comfortable with dogs of any size and temperament (both laid-back cuddle bugs and high-energy dogs that need extra exercise and attention). Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make their time with me stress-free and fun! I just graduated college and my full time job doesn’t start until mid July, so other than the occasional hanging out with friends, I have a wide open schedule! I am extremely flexible and will follow the owner’s usual routine as much as possible. I am comfortable with leashed walks as well as supervising dogs in fenced yards — I will not walk dogs off-leash or leave unsupervised in yards. I am happy to take dogs on adventures or just chill, but for the most part I am happy to do whatever the owner prefers!
“I can’t say enough great things about Maddy! She recently watched our 2 dogs at our house while my husband and I went on a trip. She sent plenty of pictures, updates and gave our pups lots of love. We were so thankful for Maddy and it gave us great peace of mind to know that our dogs were in good hands while we were away!”

About: I always lead with patience and care. Animals are clear communicators and we just need to listen. I am medically trained (for humans primarily), but I know those skills and knowledge are highly transferable. I work primarily in a hospital. Even though my schedule is consistently changing, I have multiple days off during the week. This allows me to visit anytime throughout the days im off and leaves a lot of flexibility. Respect is key. Whether its for the pet or the home, I believe all things should be approached respectfully and mindfully. I am happy to follow whatever house rules or pet routines you may have.

“We are grateful to find Rebecca to watch Murphy, our English lab. Murph can be a bit of a diva, he demands a lot of attention and can be difficult to walk sometimes. He requires a lot of patience! Rebecca is great, she is very responsible and I trust her with my beloved pup. I appreciate the updates she gave and the level of care she provided. We will definitely be seeking Rebeccas’ services again soon!”

About: When I was 14 I got surprised with cat named Alexis she was a foster cat that had been through 6 families me and her bonded instantly and we’re inseparable. Since I’ve gotten my cat I have wanted to expand my experience on animals and started working with dogs and cats, my love for dogs was already so big but growing bonds with some of my dogs that come in daily or stay for a while has moved my whole perspective and I’ve branched out on taking vet classes to get my certification. As I worked there and became a lead I have learned to detect anxiety and illness health, notice when dogs are ready to be alone and need some space from the environment they are in, I am trained in how to administer meds to dogs and cats if needed. I am fully available to watch at anytime and drop off so this would cause no inconvenience for me to take care and provide for the animals I know how to do crate control and training without heavy reinforcement, I always double check doors, fences, locks because some dogs can manage to break free from certain areas and I keep a good eye out for the animals and keep them as entertained as possible
“Stephanie was amazing! Daily updates with pictures and videos. House and house plants were well taken care of. Would highly recommend her for anyone looking for dog sitting!”

“Allison did a great job taking care of our cat, Hiccup over several days and nights! Allison was responsive, responsible and provided great updates throughout our trip! Our house looked great upon our return and we look forward to having Allison look after Hiccup in the future!”

“Evelyn was great! She even came for two meet and greets and was undeterred by my rescue dog Roxy’s difficult behavior during the introductions. She managed the fact that my three dogs have different needs very well, and was communicative. I’d highly recommend her, especially if you’re worried about leaving an anxious dog with a sitter.”

About: I’ve been working at Dogtopia of Manassas for about a year, gaining daily hands-on experience with dogs of all kinds. I also have three fur babies of my own—two cats and one dog—so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life and something I truly love. I currently work at Dogtopia of Manassas, but I make sure to schedule my time so I can still give pets plenty of attention and care. Whether it’s before or after my shifts or on my days off, I’m dedicated to being reliable and making sure your pets feel loved, comfortable, and well taken care of. I am very attentive when it comes to pet care and always prioritize safety, comfort, and overall well-being. I follow routines carefully, provide a safe and clean environment, and make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, attention, and rest. I also stay alert to any changes in behavior to ensure they remain happy and healthy while in my care.
“David took care of Mason and Lily for me for one week while I was on vacation. David is a great communicator and sent pictures regularly along with updates. I highly recommend David as he is a trusted sitter.”

West Gate pet parents share their Rover experiences
Finding someone who wants to pet sit two Great Danes is no easy task, but Elizabeth is an absolute natural! From the moment she came over for the initial meet-and-greet, she was so wonderful with them that they were genuinely upset when she left. She did an incredible job house-sitting and taking care of my giant pups in their own environment. She even went above and beyond by tolerating both of them crowding her on the bed—anyone with Danes knows they are world-class bed hogs! I could tell they were safe, loved, and thoroughly spoiled the entire time. I highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone looking for a top-tier pet sitter. In fact, I’m pretty sure my dogs are secretly hoping I travel again just so they can spend more time with her! 😊

We had a wonderful experience with Samantha as our dog sitter! She took great care of our dogs and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Samantha kept the house clean and tidy, sent us regular pictures and updates, and it was clear our dogs were happy and well cared for. We really appreciated her communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Keirsten and Zeeke hit it off immediately and it was refreshing to see them both have an amazing time while she house sat and took care of our elderly statesman. She provided constant updates, pictures, videos, and made sure to ask all the important questions to take care of our pup. Would definitely recommend.

I can’t say enough great things about Maddy! She recently watched our 2 dogs at our house while my husband and I went on a trip. She sent plenty of pictures, updates and gave our pups lots of love. We were so thankful for Maddy and it gave us great peace of mind to know that our dogs were in good hands while we were away!

Aleyzaa provided incredible service to our dog Zasha and our home while we were gone for 11 days. She was highly communicative, professional, and provided absolute peace of mind so we could enjoy our vacation. She went above and beyond to make sure that Zasha and our home were well-kept, and we came back to everything just as we left it. I could not recommend her highly enough!
