“We love Jasper and so does Brobie! Jasper managed to squeeze us in to watch Brobie and was much appreciated. He will always be a go to sitter. Highly recommend Jasper.”

“Faith was great. She took good care of our Westie, Piper, while we were away for the weekend. She sent updates and photos, asked good questions when I hadn’t provided clear information, and left our house clean and in good order. She was also very sweet and pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to be taking care of Piper”

“Alex was great with our two puggles! He communicated well, sent lots of pictures, and was just so easy to work with. When we got home our house was clean, the dogs were happy and life was good. We've already booked him again!”

“Caitlin was great! She stayed with Quinn for 3 days. Great communication and left the house clean. Caitlin even brought a lick mat and snuff mat for Quinn to play with! Will definitely use Caitlin again in the future!”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since an early age. I have a lot of experience with them. During the years, I've learned how to take care of them very well. I always make sure to keep them comfortable, by well-feeding them, and keeping them in a healthy and clean environment. Some examples of how I take care of dogs; I love to brush their hear to keep it free of tangles. I take them for potty breaks every 2 hours. I also like to train dogs for basic commands. And to have fun with them, I play with them, and I let them swim when the weather is warm enough. In a nut-shell, I do whatever is possible to make dogs happy.
“Rosemary took great care of my dog Beau. While I was away she provided me updates and pictures which made me feel at ease while I was away. When I came home the house was clean and tidy. I appreciate the love and care that Rosemary gave my boy.”

“Jess was fantastic! We have a stubborn dog that can be difficult sometimes and Jess was amazing with her! She gave us daily updates on everything and I never felt stressed about leaving our dog with her. Our dog seems relaxed after the long weekend with Jess. She went above and beyond with picking up the house as well and we will definitely use her again in the future!”
About: For the past three years, I’ve been the trusted dog and cat sitter for friends and family, managing everything from high-energy park outings to strict medication and feeding routines. I am a 25 year old graduate student with a very active lifestyle as I'm currently training for a 5k, so I’m always happy to take your pup on a longer, more vigorous walk if they have energy to burn! I love nothing more than to play and care for peoples pets- they provide so much happiness to their owners lives, it’s only right to do everything I can to achieve the same for them. My schedule offers the consistency and flexibility needed for reliable mid-day, evening, and weekend care. As a Master of Social Work student at VCU, I have structured my academic commitments to ensure I am available for regular mid-day walks, providing your pets with dependable exercise and companionship when they need it most. Because I am a local resident and maintain a disciplined routine, I am both physically ready and highly motivated to be a steady presence for your pets' daily needs. My status as a graduate student ensures a level of professional maturity and a stable weekly calendar that translates to peace of mind for pet owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a "home-away-from-home" experience that is rooted in safety and emotional security. I understand that entering a private space is a significant gesture of trust, so I maintain a high degree of integrity and professional maturity, qualities I have honed as a Master of Social Work student. My approach begins with a meticulous adherence to the owner's established routines; whether it is managing complex feeding schedules or following specific medication windows, I ensure that every detail is executed "without missing a beat" to minimize any stress the animal might feel in their owner's absence. To build a true environment of trust, I focus on clear, consistent communication and proactive safety. I am highly observant of the home environment—ensuring "door-dashers" stay secure and that all surroundings are safe—while providing real-time updates to owners so they can feel at peace. Beyond the logistics, I am deeply attuned to the pet's emotional well-being. If an animal is experiencing separation anxiety, I utilize my background in identifying needs to provide a calming, patient presence and dedicated companionship. By combining my physical stamina for active play and walks with a calm, empathetic demeanor, I ensure every pet feels safe, engaged, and loved while in my care.
“Christina (Mary) was amazing! She sent plenty of cute pics and updates daily. She took the dogs on several walks and also played with them in the local tennis courts fetching the tennis ball. My house was better than when I left it, she even washed the dishes in the dishwasher! I would give her 10 stars if I could. It’s hard leaving pups with a new person the first time but I was never worried.”

“Kelly has dogsat for our three pups for a couple periods of 1-2 weeks. She gives them lots of love and walks and I am confident they are happy while I am away. She is a great communicator and during a recent trip was able to help us in a pinch when our flight delayed our return by 12 hours. We and the pups are grateful to have Kelly in our lives!”

“Will continues to be a life saver for us!! Not only does he take amazing care of our pups, but our home and other animals, too. He was so considerate to take our bunny to the vet while we were gone when he realized something was wrong with her and didn’t hesitate to do so. He’s got the best communication, sends lots of pictures, and loves on our fur babies when we can’t. I wouldn’t want anyone else looking after them when we are gone. Just please don’t steal him from us. 🤣”

“I am so appreciative of having Lorene as my dog sitter for our recent vacation. She kept us updated with a daily report, added some cute pictures, and learned more of the dogs’ quirks making it a great fit. We knew we could travel without any worries because she took great care of my boys. They loved hanging out with her and Cash even took on the role of “work supervisor”. Would highly recommend Lorene for any of your dog needs.”

“Jenn is a wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of our furry babies! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our puppies!”

“Andrea was incredible and we would absolutely recommend her! She looked after our two pups Doug and Goomba and we were assured throughout our trip that they were in good hands. She gave us very frequent updates and pictures and was extremely responsive. She was incredibly kind both when we met and via text, and I know she was just as great with our dogs. Thank you so much Andrea!!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Leigh! Nick was very well taken care of, and we really appreciated Leigh’s thorough communication throughout. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Would definitely recommend!”
“Skyler has been our go to pet sitter for several months. She has taken care of our four pups and one cat (our first tribe) while my fiancé and I have been out of town on several trips. She is always responsive, punctual, and sends super photos. We trust her with our precious four legged kids and with our home. Thank you Skyler!”

“Vinnie is the best! He communicates quickly and clearly, but beyond that he helps our anxious dog relax while he's caring for her. We so value his help and recommend him to anyone.”

“Kathrine was wonderful with our 3 fur kiddos! She sent photos and 2-3 updates per day. We are very happy with her overnight sitter option and will certainly hire her again.”

Faith was absolutely AMAZING! We feel so lucky to have found her. She was incredibly attentive to our boys. They can be rambunctious and get themselves into some trouble and Faith would immediately let me know what happened (like one of them stealing a pumpkin and destroying it all over the couch 😅). We will definitely be having Faith come back to take care of our boys.

Jennifer was an incredible dog sitter! She’s the first person we’ve left our dog with that wasn’t a family member and she went above and beyond, sharing frequent updates, pictures and videos, which made it feel like we weren’t even gone. She also kept our home super tidy, and it was a relief to come back to such a clean space. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

We hired Anna to watch our four precious babies (three kitties and one dog) while we traveled out of the country. She took particularly good care of all of them, sent us updates, asked questions when needed and left our home as good as she found it. It’s a lot to take care of four animals at once, especially when our cats have some funny habits. They all really loved being around Anna and were obviously felt safe and happy with her. We will most definitely be using Anna again—she is professional, kind, funny and reliable. Thank you Anna!!

Laura was amazing with our 2 energetic dogs and older cat that needed daily thyroid medication and subcutaneous fluids. The house was left all in tact and she even washed her linens and put clean sheets on our bed. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated that after a long days journey 😊

Rheiya was wonderful! She was so sweet and kind. I have a new puppy, Zumi, who is teething like crazy, and she was beyond understanding as I fight the good fight to break the razor-sharp teeth habit. She sent me pics and walked her every hour. My house was maintained and clearly respected (I have had a not-so-great experience with a previous sitter). She was very professional and communicative. It was clear she loved animals, and my puppy certainly felt loved up on. I really lucked up on finding her on Rover! I will be using her again.

We have a 3 dogs (one’s a deaf puppy) and 3 cats! Becca handled them all with love and care. She communicated with us before and during her visit, sent pictures during her stay, asked questions to get to know the dogs, and genuinely provided loving care. I highly recommend her!
