About: I’ve grown up in a home with multiple pets and have extensive experience caring for animals. Over the years, neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I’m also a four-time foster parent with the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA, where I’ve cared for animals in need and helped prepare them for adoption. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m fully available on weekends to give your furry family my complete attention and care! I’m available anytime after 5:00 PM on Fridays through Sundays. I’m a true animal lover and will care for your furry family members as if they were my own. I prioritize being present and attentive to their needs, making sure they always feel safe and supported—wherever they are, I’m right there with them.

“I have been nervous for a while to use rover for my two kitties and Allison coming and staying at my house showed me why I did not need to be worried! Allison loved and cared for my cats so much! She gave them their daily medicines with food, worked with my automatic litter boxes, and most importantly played and loved on them so much! She was very very communicative and responsive and also sent me so many cute pictures! I always miss my cats so much when I’m gone so this helped me a lot! I also frequently asked how things were going and Allison was very responsive which helped reassure me! She also left my home neat and tidy how it was left for her which was nice to come home to! About: I always lead with patience and care. Animals are clear communicators and we just need to listen. I am medically trained (for humans primarily), but I know those skills and knowledge are highly transferable. I work primarily in a hospital. Even though my schedule is consistently changing, I have multiple days off during the week. This allows me to visit anytime throughout the days im off and leaves a lot of flexibility. Respect is key. Whether its for the pet or the home, I believe all things should be approached respectfully and mindfully. I am happy to follow whatever house rules or pet routines you may have.

“I don't know where to begin - Jasper was a phenomenal sitter for my pup, Hershey. Jasper made time to meet Hershey beforehand her sitting days to ensure that each of us would be comfortable with the arrangement. Over the course of the week I was away, Jasper made sure to keep me updated about everything that was happening with Hershey by sending messages, and pictures throughout the day everyday. I appreciated Jasper’w positive attitude, patience, and willingness to work with Hershey through her anxiety and anxiousness from being in a new environment and around a new person. About: As a friendly cat-sitter for family friends around the area, and cat owner for years, I know the responsibilities of caring for one. These include changing the litter, understanding feeding schedules, playing, etc. I have taken care of cats from all stages of life! Additionally, I have taken care of friends’ dogs while they are out of town by feeding, walking, and playing with them! Your pet will be cared for like my own, and rest assured they will be loved, content, fed, and safe while you are gone! I am available for last-minute holiday visits! I’m currently a full time student and work a part time job as an intern at FCPS. I am available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. Please message me first, I am very flexible! I can assure you your dogs will stay active, fed, groomed, and cared for in every way! As far as cats I have one at home so I will adjust to the cats’ personality by giving them space if need be. Additionally, I will make sure they are clean, fed, and hydrated!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Truly Above and Beyond Care We cannot say enough amazing things about Jen! She went completely above and beyond while house sitting for our dogs, Ren and Quin. From the start, she was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and attentive to detail. She didn’t just follow instructions — she truly cared about our dogs and their experience. She made sure to check them for ticks, kept us updated, and was very proactive in making sure they were safe and happy. What impressed us the most was her flexibility and dedication. When she realized that the dogs needed a few extra visits, she adjusted her schedule without hesitation. That level of attentiveness and willingness to adapt gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. But the biggest sign of how amazing she is? When we came home, Ren and Quin were happy, relaxed… and honestly didn’t even seem that excited to see us because they had such a great time with her! 😂 That says everything. Jen is someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own, and it shows in every interaction. We feel incredibly lucky to have her as our neighbor and our dog sitter. We would 100% trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care.
Allison was great housesitting with my anxious dog Stax. She can be quite nervous around new people, but Allison has a calm, patient energy and Stax settled in relatively quickly after meeting. We returned home to a happy dog. I recommend Allison to anyone, including those with dogs who need a little extra care.
Kathryn was such a gem!! She was incredibly responsive, super nice, and very patient with our anxious dog (and me lol as this was the first time we had left our dog with a rover over the weekend) she told me every time she went over and every time she left! She sent me 16 pictures of our fur babies over 3 nights and we enjoyed every single one! It made me feel like I could enjoy my trip knowing they were in great hands! Also my neighbors checked in a couple of time just to make sure everything was going well and my neighbor had nothing but nice things to say about Kathryn as well!
Ianthe did an excellent job caring for my cats while staying at my home. She was detail oriented, reliable, and performed exactly as promised. The cats were well looked after and the house was just as I left it, calm and orderly. It’s always a relief to come home to happy pets and a peaceful home. Highly recommend her services!
