“Rosemary spent 6 days taking care of the house and animals. She was very responsive, sent oodles of photos, and was very professional in all our communications. We will definitely ask her to come again. It's such a relief to know you can trust somebody to come to the house rather than stressing the dogs out with time in a loud pet hotel.”

“Vinnie was great! He sent pictures of our dog (she looked very happy) to update us on how she was doing. We could tell she had a great time with him. He also was very respectful of our space and kept it in good condition while we were gone. Would highly recommend Vinnie to anyone for pet/house sitting.”

“Faith was absolutely AMAZING! We feel so lucky to have found her. She was incredibly attentive to our boys. They can be rambunctious and get themselves into some trouble and Faith would immediately let me know what happened (like one of them stealing a pumpkin and destroying it all over the couch 😅). We will definitely be having Faith come back to take care of our boys.”

“Allegra constantly exceeds expectations and alleviates any anxieties I have about leaving my dogs for several days at a time. She is responsive and great with the dogs and house. I'll never book another dog sitter if Allegra is available!”

“Collen was so sweet! She walked Cosmo, took pictures, and fed him when needed. We have a senior poodle who can’t do much. Collen was very confident taking this task on, and she did a lovely job!!”

“Christina (Mary) was amazing! She sent plenty of cute pics and updates daily. She took the dogs on several walks and also played with them in the local tennis courts fetching the tennis ball. My house was better than when I left it, she even washed the dishes in the dishwasher! I would give her 10 stars if I could. It’s hard leaving pups with a new person the first time but I was never worried.”

“Kristen is great. She goes above and beyond and does everything she can to help with the dogs. She is great at communication and letting me know how the dogs are doing..”

“I had an excellent experience with Claire and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and caring dog sitter. She was punctual and her communication was top-notch; she kept me updated with regular, detailed messages and sent adorable pictures of my dog that really put my mind at ease while I was away. When I returned, the house was in great condition, and most importantly, my dog was happy and well-cared for. I will definitely be reaching out to her for future dog-sitting needs!”

“Kaitlin was amazing with our dog. She followed all our directions, was patient, and learned our dog’s language. Our dog was not stressed at all when we got home! This is the first time we used Rover and we will use it again to re-book with Kaitlin. She definitely has a repeat customer in us. Thank you so much, Kaitlin!”

“Asal was amazing with my senior pups. I traveled from out of state and needed a sitter. My dogs trusted them immediately. Asal is flexible on times and is extremely communicative. I highly recommend them.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and lots of other animals for as long as I can remember. I have grown up with large dogs my whole life. I have experience with Labs, German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. In addition, I have taken care of friends and family dogs of all shapes and sizes from puppies to elderly dogs. I participated in a 4-H club and learned dog training techniques and worked on those skills training my chocolate lab and my grandparents’ golden retriever. In high school, I completed 2 years of Veterinary Science classes. This entailed learning about medication administration, feeding, first aid, training, and grooming. I am currently working part-time at a dog boarding facility which allows me to have plenty of time to play and care for your animals! I’m available after 2:00 monday-friday, available saturday after 1:00 and available sunday all day. I'm passionate about animals, especially dogs, and find immense joy in caring for them. I'm drawn to dog sitting because it allows me to combine my love for dogs with my strong sense of responsibility. I believe I'm trustworthy because I am detail-oriented, I follow instructions meticulously, and I understand the importance of open and honest communication. Pet owners are entrusting me with the well-being of their beloved companions and the security of their homes, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I am also reliable; I will always be on time, fulfill my commitments, and prioritize the dog's needs.

“I am so appreciative of having Lorene as my dog sitter for our recent vacation. She kept us updated with a daily report, added some cute pictures, and learned more of the dogs’ quirks making it a great fit. We knew we could travel without any worries because she took great care of my boys. They loved hanging out with her and Cash even took on the role of “work supervisor”. Would highly recommend Lorene for any of your dog needs.”

“Alan stayed at our home and pet sit my dog Goose for 10 days. It was my first time leaving Goose for that long with a sitter and I am so grateful that Alan was the one to watch him! Alan kept me updated on how Goose was doing and sent plenty of wonderful pictures! I felt like I could truly relax on vacation knowing that Goose was in safe hands! 10/10 would love to hire Alan again.”

“Habiba was a last minute find as my plans changed rapidly and needed someone to house sit my dog Gus. She was super communicative and flexible. After meeting her first I knew she'd take excellent care of my baby. She kept me updated constantly and handled any issues that arose (my dog is older so he has issues now and then). She sent me plenty of pics as I requested and I would absolutely leave my dog in her care again. 10/10”
Oak Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
If I could give ten stars, I absolutely would! Sharon is hands-down the most responsible and detail-oriented pet sitter I have ever worked with. I used to avoid long trips because I get so anxious about my fur babies. In the past, whenever I boarded them, my cat and dog would often come home with minor illnesses or stress. But having Sharon watch them this time gave me complete peace of mind! She sent me updates more than once a day, covering every little detail. From our conversations, it was completely obvious that she is not a beginner. She has a ton of experience, knows exactly what she is doing, and handles everything like a true professional. When I returned from my trip, both my cat and dog were in amazing shape—happy, energetic, and completely healthy. It was so clear they were well-loved and incredibly comfortable the entire time. I am so incredibly grateful to Sharon for her dedication and expert care; she truly saved this anxious pet parent! If you are looking for a reliable, loving, and experienced pet sitter, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!

Jake took such great care of our big lovable boy (145lb alaskan malamute) while we were out of state for a couple days. He sent us daily updates with pictures of our happy boy, which was so appreciated since this was our first time using a sitter. Amazing job!

Asal was wonderful with our two anxious pups! They did an in-home stay for us since our dogs do best with this arrangement and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Asal was so professional and gave scheduled, detailed updates to let us know how our fur babies were doing. They even stripped the bed for us, too! Would definitely book again- highly recommend!

Sierra was fantastic. My dogs were happy, healthy and good when I came back home. One was having accidents inside before I left and Sierra had them on such a good schedule he didn’t have any. 10/10 I recommend her to anyone that’s looking for fantastic pet care!

Jacqueline was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond when we booked her to house sit our two cats for 4 nights. Everyday we got 3-4 updates and plenty of photos. During our booking, it was evident that our cats were happy, healthy, and receiving plenty of attention and playtime. Lastly, Jacqueline was great with administering oral medication and attentive when monitoring our cats’ health issues. This was our first house sitting booking, and we couldn’t be more complimentary. Seriously a weight off of our shoulders!

I’m super grateful that Indira could come last minute over the holidays so we didn’t have to cancel our trip after taking in an emergency foster that didn’t have a warm place to sleep at night. She faithfully agreed to house sit as well because of the dogs serious separation anxiety. I especially love coming home to a clean house just as I left it. Indira, you’re a lifesaver and we appreciate you so much!

Even as two very anxious pet parents, Amanda did an AMAZING job with our girls and gave us a great peace of mind that they were in good hands. She was also very communicative and respectful to our pets and home. She even did things we didn’t ask like tidying up the home a bit. We will definitely be rebooking with her in the future and recommend you do too!

Kathryn was such a gem!! She was incredibly responsive, super nice, and very patient with our anxious dog (and me lol as this was the first time we had left our dog with a rover over the weekend) she told me every time she went over and every time she left! She sent me 16 pictures of our fur babies over 3 nights and we enjoyed every single one! It made me feel like I could enjoy my trip knowing they were in great hands! Also my neighbors checked in a couple of time just to make sure everything was going well and my neighbor had nothing but nice things to say about Kathryn as well!

Steven did a great job housesitting for our pets. He was responsive, communicative, sent pictures, asked questions, and stayed in touch with us. It was the first time we used him, and it was a last-minute request so we were more than grateful for his excellent service. We will definitely be working with him again.
