About: I’ve grown up in a home with multiple pets and have extensive experience caring for animals. Over the years, neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. I’m also a four-time foster parent with the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA, where I’ve cared for animals in need and helped prepare them for adoption. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m fully available on weekends to give your furry family my complete attention and care! About: As a friendly cat-sitter for family friends around the area, and cat owner for years, I know the responsibilities of caring for one. These include changing the litter, understanding feeding schedules, playing, etc. I have taken care of cats from all stages of life! Additionally, I have taken care of friends’ dogs while they are out of town by feeding, walking, and playing with them! Your pet will be cared for like my own, and rest assured they will be loved, content, fed, and safe while you are gone! I am available for last-minute holiday visits! I’m currently a full time student and work a part time job as an intern at FCPS. I am available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. Please message me first, I am very flexible! I can assure you your dogs will stay active, fed, groomed, and cared for in every way! As far as cats I have one at home so I will adjust to the cats’ personality by giving them space if need be. Additionally, I will make sure they are clean, fed, and hydrated!

We had an excellent experience and Tyler was amazing. This was the first time we had someone watch our dog in our home and Barley seemed very happy. She is very anxious when we leave and is reactive to thunder storms and dogs. We were gone a week and there were several storms and her walks took her past several dogs; Tyler handled everything extremely professionally and we came home to calm and happy pup (he left us some guidance for those times, which we will implement). He sent pictures and kept us informed on a daily basis. Tyler was very respectful of our house and we returned to it looking better than when we left. I highly recommend Tyler, without reservation. I look forward to having him watch Barley in the future. Thank you, Tyler - we greatly appreciate all you did for Barley; she misses you :).
Finding a great dog sitter you trust and is reliable makes leaving your pup so much easier. We are so lucky to have that in Alan. Kathryn was such a gem!! She was incredibly responsive, super nice, and very patient with our anxious dog (and me lol as this was the first time we had left our dog with a rover over the weekend) she told me every time she went over and every time she left! She sent me 16 pictures of our fur babies over 3 nights and we enjoyed every single one! It made me feel like I could enjoy my trip knowing they were in great hands! Also my neighbors checked in a couple of time just to make sure everything was going well and my neighbor had nothing but nice things to say about Kathryn as well!
Ianthe did an excellent job caring for my cats while staying at my home. She was detail oriented, reliable, and performed exactly as promised. The cats were well looked after and the house was just as I left it, calm and orderly. It’s always a relief to come home to happy pets and a peaceful home. Highly recommend her services!
