About: I enjoy pet sitting and have tried to do it consistently as I can for the past 5 years. I am responsible and experienced. I have experience with domestic pets and turtles. I have a lot of experience with households with multiple dogs or a combination of pets such as cats and turtles or dogs and rabbits. I have other contract type jobs, but I really enjoy pet sitting and try to do it as much as possible. It is a consistent part of my week. I will always focus my energy on the pets in my clients home while I’m there. I will live my life on the schedule they are on to the best of my ability.
“Carole is amazing with my dog. She worked to get my front door open and eventually was able to get in through the garage to get my boy out! She stayed a bit extra to ensure he got his bathroom and walk break in. Thanks!”

About: Hi! I’m currently a 28-year-old looking to make extra money to save for a future home by taking great care of any furry friends you might have. I was born and raised in this area, am bilingual, and have always had a soft spot when it comes to pets. I raised my 15-year-old Bichon Frise named Frosty (who passed away two years ago) and have a three-year-old doggo named Zuko so I am comfortable with pets of all ages and sizes! I’m responsible, organized, a great listener, and am very open to hearing all your pet’s needs and helping out as best as I can. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Your babies will be in great hands :) Thank you! Schedule: I work a full-time, hybrid schedule (mostly remote) and am happy to work with you to ensure your pets get taken care of at the times that are best for you and them! Safety, trust, and environment: I think a key aspect of providing safety and trust is to be well aware of what exactly I’m walking into and what the pet is used to doing! For this reason, I like to speak with clients in detail regarding their pets needs beforehand so that I have a strong understanding of the pet. Similarly, you can expect more than just pictures/videos from me as I’ll send updates regarding your pet for any walk/drop in!

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for pets. I grew up in a home full of animals and have owned five dogs and a cat, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have been pet-sitting for family and friends extensively for the past few years, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and attention that I give my own. I look forward to meeting your pets! I'm currently working part-time at night so I'm available to walk or sit your dogs all day 7 days of the week. I've been caring for dogs of all sizes ranging from fully grown German Shepherds, Huskies, Pitbulls, Mutts, and Dachshunds just to name a few. So I'm able to manage all dogs, including multiple dogs at a time.

I will give your pets the attention they deserve! I am currently working a part time job and have plenty of time to car for your pets! I am available most days of the week and have a very flexible schedule if you ever need last minute time changes. Whatever you’re most comfortable with works for me! About: I grew up with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a bird. I’ve always been surrounded by animals and now have 2 dogs of my own, a labradoodle and a Havanese. I love caring for animals and spending time with them. I’m currently a preschool teacher, I work until 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Most weekends I’m available with notice. My job also follows holidays and seasonal breaks, allowing me more flexibility. I believe in building trust and a relationship with your pets by playing with them and establishing a routine. I will follow any directions you leave and ensure their safety.

“Skyler is absolutely amazing! She cares for my dog while I am away at work and ensures she gets a full mile walk in just a half hour. She shares all the droppings my pup performs and sends pictures every time. It’s a shame she is only here for the summer because I would happily hire her year round.”

About: I used to have a shih tzu named Oreo when I was younger for a year unfortunately had to give her away because my mom was allergic. I now take care of my cousin’s dog Millie when they are on trips I usually sleepover at their house and watch over her, walk her, feed her, and as well as bathing her. As you can see in the pictures of me with different pets they are not all mine just the bunny named biscuit. All the other dogs and cats are my friends or just strays I find on the street that wants affection:) I currently work full time but I’ll make time for the fur babies because they make me happy. I communicate clearly and make time around my schedule to accommodate to all pet parents. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. If there is any medication or specific instructions on what you would like me to do I will be more than happy to do so just let me know.
About: I have been taking care of animals of all kinds for 6+ years and I love all creatures. I have experience caring for young puppies to older dogs that need extra attention. I have a great understanding of animal behavior and how to make your dog happy! I am currently working on shadowing at veterinary clinics so I’d love to fill my extra time walking some other pups. I strive to be outside as much as possible so I have a very flexible schedule. When walking I am constantly paying attention to my surroundings so your dog only has to walk along with me and can relax. I pay attention to your dog during the walk to make sure they are not overly stressed and that their needs are being met, whatever they may be.
“Teju has been such a pleasure to work with each week and a huge help with our dog while we had construction work going on in the house last week. It’s such a relief to know our pup is in good hands!”

About: I grew up with dogs and still love caring for them, from puppies to seniors, following their routines and meds if needed while giving them fun walks, love, and company. I have a baby at home, so my routine is very stable and home‑based: we spend most of the day at home, which allows me to offer your dog constant company. We schedule walks at set times (morning, midday, and afternoon), adapted to each dog’s energy and needs. At home, the atmosphere is calm; your dog will have a comfy space to rest, supervised playtime, and lots of affection. Having a baby makes me extra careful with safety: I check doors and windows, always walk on leash, and follow your instructions closely. This way, your dog enjoys a family home with someone around almost all day, and you can relax knowing they’re being cared for like one of the family.

I'm currently working part-time and doing school part-time as well. I'm free on the weekends and free after 3pm (6pm on Friday) on the weekdays except for Tuesday and Wednesday. I usually have the holidays off, so I can take care of pets during that time as well. Being a cat mom myself, I have toys, treats, scratch posts, and clay litter at my house for my cat. I always make sure to keep harmful objects or liquids away from my pet. I also make sure she gets plenty of pets and playtime throughout the day.

All I can say is, Alex. Alex is the man with the master plan. Communication is key and Alex unlocked it. Thank you for taking great care of my baby love. There’s nothing more scary than leaving your prize with someone to care for and does an exceptional job. I will rebook Alex again and again. Bravo!!

Skyler is absolutely amazing! She cares for my dog while I am away at work and ensures she gets a full mile walk in just a half hour. She shares all the droppings my pup performs and sends pictures every time. It’s a shame she is only here for the summer because I would happily hire her year round.

My dog loved having Fiona over to take him on his walks! She truly cares about animals and is such a great caretaker. I also liked how responsive she was from booking and through each walk to let me know how my furry family member was doing. I would pick her again for my future dog care needs!

Kim is wonderful! She is so kind and loving with my dogs, and they adore her as well. She has been walking and having playtime with them for the past few years. We recently got a puppy and she’s amazing with her too. Kim stays at our home with them when we were either gone for many hours or on a trip. My family trusts her with our fur babies and our home completely. She is trustworthy and responsible. She has given my dogs meds - orally, eye drops and ear drops. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her as a dog walker and pet sitter.

My two dogs had a great time with Bobbi over the holiday break. She has really great attention to detail and is a wonderful communicator so I had everything I needed to know about my pets while I was away. She also has professional experience working with dogs so for anyone looking for a pet sitter, I would recommend Bobbi!

My dogs loved having Courtney take them on walks while I was away. Of all the Rover sitters I have had, she is the most professional I’ve worked with. She was able to give me detailed updates when one of my dogs suddenly didn’t feel well and monitored him. If you’re looking for caring and trustworthy, Courtney is it!

Josh was great with Louis! He took the time to meet him ahead of the scheduled walks, which really helped Louis familiarize with him. He was punctual, communicative, and always made sure Louis got the walk he needed. I appreciated the updates and photos after each walk. Highly recommend Josh to anyone!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
