I've had dogs and cats in my life since the day I was born. My own first cat was a kitten when I was about four years old, and that started me on a path of having my own dogs and cats ever since. From a very young age I was responsible for feeding and watering my pets, scooping and eventually changing their litter boxes, picking up after my dogs, walking my dogs once I was strong enough they couldn't pull me over, and working with my dogs on their training. I've even helped friends train their own dogs, and have been relied on to house and pet sit many times. Within the last several years, two of my senior pets, a dog and a cat, required daily medicine. Pills, eye drops, oral liquids, and things mixed into their food are all things I became adept at giving. My senior dog, a Pug, also was not supposed to exert herself too much, so I quickly became used to carrying her up and down steps. I have experience giving dogs of various sizes baths, both at home and at a self serve dog wash.
