About: I love animals, especially dogs, and spend a lot of my free time volunteering at local shelters. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and disabilities. Currently I am caring for two dogs with disabilities long term: and elderly French Bulldog with partial paralysis, and a young pittie mix with three legs due to a car accident. These dogs require equal amounts of patience and love when being cared for, as well as extra attention and physical aid with mobility (ex. going up and down stairs) I'm someone who genuinely loves animals, and would do this for free if everything wasn't so expensive now. I will take the time to socialize and get to know your pet so they are comfortable, relaxed, and overjoyed when I arrive. I also have a medical background which makes me very comfortable dealing with pet medications and special needs. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule. This allows me to plan around my clients schedules and ensure I am free to care for your pet almost any day and time. I take care of two disabled dogs full time, they require extra care and attention but you can expect that same level from me when I care for any pet. You can expect me to tailor the experience to your specific doggos needs, to socialize and play with them, and to make sure they're always overjoyed when I stop by. I have good attention to detail and a medical background which allows me to handle any special needs or routines your pet has.
About: I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. I have experience caring for pets of all ages from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and TLC. My own 14-year-old dog has taught me that every walk doesn't have to be fast to be meaningful, and I'm happy to match each pet's pace and individual needs. Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine. I care for my own dog daily, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I understand how important it is for pets to stick to their routines, so whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending quality time together, I'm committed to giving every pet the care and attention they deserve. Your pet will be treated like part of the family in my home. I have a gentle, friendly 14-year-old dog who gets along well with other animals. While I don't have a fenced yard, I make sure pets get plenty of exercise and outdoor time through regular leashed walks. I provide a safe, loving environment with lots of attention, playtime, cuddles (if they enjoy them!), and I'll do my best to keep them on the routine they're used to at home.
“Ashley was fantastic! She was available for a last minute walk, and did such a great time with Lincoln - she was patient and helped him get some much needed outside time! Thank you Ashley!”

“Sabrilla was great! She was on time on all days, took Murph-E for a walk and exercised him as requested. Even on the day it was raining, she came and took him. Good communication and reliable.”

“We could not have dreamed of a better walking experience for our Skye than Amy’s sniffaris with him during the past two weeks! She also was excellent at providing daily pictures and updates, and provided a great sense of relief for us while we were out of the country. His safety and comfort during our trip was our biggest worry and that anxiety left us when we booked Amy. We just knew he would be provided with the best care.”

“Tamara is absolutely incredible. We have been though a couple of walkers (they’ve been great too) however, Tamara is amazing. She goes above and beyond. She spends time working with my pup, communicates and gives helpful suggestions on how to get my pup to lower his anxiety. If I could give her 6 stars, I WOULD! Highly recommend!”

About: Hello Neighbor! 🐾 We're happy to offer our space for your pup while you're away. We do not board more than one dog at a time. Our senior dog prefers to keep to himself, we also have a puppy who is friendly and playful, but may be too high energy for some dogs. I will read through your care details and may ask a few questions to ensure it is an all around good fit. I work from home from 8:00 - 5:00 PM. My day is planned around feeding schedules, walks, medication needs, and making sure pets get plenty of attention and exercise. We live on the SECOND FLOOR of a small to medium sized condo. We have a hallway gate and pin to separate our pets if needed.
“I'm so glad I found Nouf! She was punctual for every walk and kept me in the loop with photo updates. My dog was thrilled to see her again during her second visit. I’ll definitely be booking with Nouf again whenever the need arises.”

About: My family and I have taken care of friends and relative’s pets for a long time. We also had a pet of our own for years so we have experience in taking care and playing with them. I am currently working from home, so I am very flexible and have the time to play and take them out from the comfort of my own home. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Riding
Sabrila did an incredible job with our dog! We had to book her last minute, after our pug got sick and couldn’t be boarded, as planned. We were nervous to leave him when he wasn’t feeling well, but Sabrila took exceptional care of him - giving him his meds and reporting back on his symptoms each visit. In addition, she was prompt, followed all of our requested guidelines regarding care for our dog, communicated quickly and effectively, and cared for him like he was her own. She also sent lots of pictures each visit, which was so helpful in reassuring us that he was doing well. We will definitely book her again!

Amy was absolutely phenomenal with our two large dogs. One is a senior, and we were so reluctant to leave “just in case.” It’s never easy leaving fur babies behind, but Amy sent so many photo and message updates! She got to know our dogs really well, and it was clear to me that she truly loves what she does. She worked on training our young dog, and spent so much time and energy making sure they were well-cared for the entire time we were gone!

Shelby has been a great dog walker for our two dogs. She walked our dogs while we were traveling and took them for long walks, gave them each specific medications, and alerted us when there was weather that could stress the dogs. She went above and beyond multiple times including to give them Benadryl before storms to help ease anxiety based on our instructions. She’s always responsive and communicative. We appreciate her taking such good care of our dogs!

Ivy was the absolute BEST dog walker for my young puppy for 3 consecutive weeks. My puppy loves her and felt safe with her. Ivy is very communicative and will take the cutest pictures of your pups while she’s with them. We can’t wait to rebook with her when she is back home from university. Thank you Ivy!

Tamara is absolutely incredible. We have been though a couple of walkers (they’ve been great too) however, Tamara is amazing. She goes above and beyond. She spends time working with my pup, communicates and gives helpful suggestions on how to get my pup to lower his anxiety. If I could give her 6 stars, I WOULD! Highly recommend!

I appreciate Eden‘s adaptability and care for our dogs. We had a glitch with our digital keypad that prevented her from getting into the house on time. She went above and beyond trying to reach me. Unfortunately, I was somewhere without a signal. Nevertheless, when we did connect, Eden came through, taking care of our dogs like a hero.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
