“From the moment I met Lydia and her dog, I knew my baby was going to be in great hands. She kept me updated of his doings throughout the day and was very loving when he got scared during 4th of July fireworks. I would 100% rebook with her for future services.”

“Ali did an amazing job watching our pup for five days! Cooper is an eight month old morkie who is going through a skittish phase with new people. Ali and her family put him right at ease and updated me with photos throughout the week. I could tell he was relaxed and felt right at home! Staying with a family was a much better option for Cooper than a kennel. I would highly recommend Ali and will be using her services again!”

“Iryna is the best! We were a little nervous about leaving our two golden boys for the first time, but she took such wonderful care of them…giving them so much love, attention & sharing frequent updates that completely put us at ease. We’re so thankful to have found her and will absolutely book with her again.”

“Joanna and John treat our pup with the greatest attention and highest level of care. When our four legged family member is in their hands, we never have to worry.”

“Vidhi did a wonderful job taking care of Buddy. Communication was smooth throughout his stay, and she sent daily pictures, which gave me peace of mind. I also loved that she also has a mini Goldendoodle, so Buddy had a buddy to keep him company! He looked very comfortable and happy in her home. I would definitely recommend Vidhi, and I have booked her again for next weekend.”

“Sowmiya was such a great choice for our dogs. My wife and I received photos and videos daily during their stay that highlighted walks, meal times, and other engaging activities. We appreciated the flexibility of meeting with us prior to the boarding reservation as well. Our pups enjoyed their time there and was treated with great care. I would board my dogs with them again!”

“Cody’s stay with Jungeun was great! Her home was a good fit for my dog - two kind adults who seemed to treat him as their own. It looked like Cody got lots of snuggles, playtime and walks outside. Jungeun provided a daily update with many photos and videos and she responded quickly to my questions via Rover. I will definitely use Jungeun again.”

“Nina and her family are amazing!!! She took care of my 3y/o yorkie named Tokyo for 4 days. She sent me pictures and videos each day showing how well Tokyo was doing and adapting to his new environment. I was immediately put at ease knowing that Tokyo was in a loving environment. Tokyo loved his time there and even began napping on the same schedule as her two other dogs…he really did become a part of their family!! I love that!!! ❤️ She brushed him and kept his eyes clean daily and he even let Nina brush his teeth at night! I couldn’t ask for anything more. I’m so happy 😀. I will definitely use Nina again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Kyle is great. We have been using him since we first moved to Virginia. He is responsive and keeps us up-to-date on what Gracie is up to. We are lucky to have Kyle take care of our Gracie and look forward to more visits.”
“Alexia was very accommodating and agreed to take care of our doggie even though it was a last minute request. She’s very kind, reliable, responsible and by the pictures I received I could tell my doggie was very confortable and happy with her. I highly recommend her and we would book her again.”

“Jeong did a great job in taking care of Heedong. With experience in taking care of Korean Jindo dogs, Jeong knew exactly how to care for Heedong and in turn made him comfortable during his stay for the weekend!”

“We left our dog Marlo with Derek for the weekend and he was great! He definitely knows his way around dogs and provided us with updates and pics throughout the weekend!”

“Remy looked like he was very comfortable and happy with Andrew and his family! It was great to get some fun photo updates and hear how well Remy did settling in and being well taken care of.”

“Poppy has stayed with Leslie several times and always has a blast. Poppy loves all the walks and attention. Couldn’t recommend a better dog sitter in the area. Love all the photos and videos too!”

“I usually leave my dog, Ginger, with a familiar sitter, but they were unavailable this time — and I am so glad we found Tatiana instead! She was truly a godsend. From day one, she was warm, responsive, and professional. I received daily updates and adorable photos, which gave me complete peace of mind throughout Ginger’s stay. Ginger looked happy, relaxed, and well-loved when I picked her up, and it was clear she had a wonderful time. She even made new friends with Tatiana’s dog and cat — which says a lot, because Ginger is a bit picky with her buddies! Thank you so much, Tatiana, for taking such great care of Ginger. I will absolutely book with you again and recommend you to anyone looking for a loving and reliable sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Riding
Staying with Heather and her lovely family was a wonderful experience for our dog Nia. Heather offered a meetup before the visit which was helpful to get to know the family and her dog Rosie. During the stay, Heather shared pictures regularly - which was comforting to see that Nia was having so much fun. Nia missed them all when I picked her up and she was very sad for a day. I would definitely look for Heather for our future needs to sit Nia and highly recommend her to any one looking for their pet.

Amazing experience from start to finish. They were attentive at the meet-and-greet, kept us updated with daily photos and videos, and made sure our dog felt comfortable with familiar items from home. We came back to a happy, relaxed pup and will definitely book again.

Amy is wonderful pet sitter! My little dog has separation anxiety, Amy went extra mile to make him comfort. She handled him such a patience and genuine care. She is communicative with videos and updates, and attentive to details. Amy is affectionate to pets. I would certainly recommend her.
Coco had a fantastic time boarding with Nina, Maggie, and Kobe. Nina is very kind, caring, and looks after Coco really well. Her communication and updates are the best! She makes sure he gets his meals and walks on time and plays his favorite game of fetch with him. We love boarding Coco with Nina. Looking forward to more slumber pawties!

Irene was a wonderful sitter for Bella! She went above and beyond to ensure that Bella was comfortable and happy. She pays attention to details, asks good questions, and made Bella's stay as fun as possible. She noticed a small medical issue beginning during Bella's stay and clearly communicated the issues to us and worked with us to ensure Bella was treated quickly. We are so happy that Bella was well taken care of while we were out of town.

Shivani was amazing with our precious Cuddles. He was happy at their home and had a great time there. We got so many updates and photos. The communication was very good. Our dog is a fussy eater but Shivani was able to get him to eat even offering him her own dog’s food after taking our permissIon. We recommend Shivani for your home away from home needs with your pups.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
