House clean, exactly the way I left it. Dogs fed and walked. Lots of photos which I personally appreciate. He is extremely reliable and trustworthy. I can really see that he loves what he does. Not letting this gem go! Thank you sir”

“For my first time using a new sitter I was quite nervous but Vanessa was great and trust worthy. She was very communicative and went out of her way to make sure my dog got the best care. I would for sure contact her again if needed.”

About: I've taken care of my own dog since I was 10 years old and spent years learning how to provide her the best care. As she's in her senior years, I've become more familiar with caring for older dogs. Through loving my own pet and pet sitting for others, I have experience with walking, feeding, and keeping pets as comfortable as possible while prioritizing their safety and happiness! I have a flexible schedule allowing me to incorporate walks, playtime, feeding, and any other needs into my routine throughout the week! I am also available to house sit earlier in the week and am more available for other services during the day. When house sitting, I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I focus on maintaining their routines, providing attentive care, and treat homes with respect and responsibility.
“Jannatul did a great job caring for our three cats for a week with two drop-in visits per day. She was responsive, showed up on time, and handled everything we needed—feeding, scooping litter, and spending time playing with them. We felt comfortable knowing they were well cared for and would definitely book her again.”

“Sam was SO awesome! She was so responsive and her communication the entire time was exceptional. She immediately gave my pup so many snuggles and spent time while I was not there truly making him feel at home. I cannot recommend Sam enough!!”

“I cannot stress how wonderful Zachariah and Morgan are. My boys absolutely love them and we know that whenever they are watching my boys they are going to be fully taken care of. The best of the best right here.”

About: I’ve had dogs, horses, and rodents, my whole life except a five year stint when I traveled. I have my own dog who’s three years old named Kevin. He’s the most spoiled boy! Kevin isn’t friendly with other dogs so I have plenty of experience walking dogs who need to avoid contact with other dogs. Please reach out with any questions! I look forward to meeting your furbabies and treating them like my own. I work during the day so I am available evenings and weekends. I have a slightly flexible schedule that allows me to be available early mornings. I will follow the pet owners guide to the letter. If you have a preferred walking path, I will take it. I always come equipped with poop bags, toys, and a first aid kit in case of emergencies. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will keep you updated with times, pictures, and a description of the care I provide.
“Cecilia and Andrew took excellent care of my two dogs. Zoe is a little shy, and can be somewhat hesitant with new people, but she did excellent with these two. I felt comfortable throughout my whole trip that my dogs were being taken excellent care of getting plenty of exercise foods, and medication’s on time. I can’t post this without saying that I was amazed at the amount of pictures that they sent me as this helped me feel connected to my dogs even though I was away. I definitely would use them again!”

“Elle dropped I’m on our dog for us several times when we were away over the weekend. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures which we loved! Our dog is a senior and had an accident while we were away. Elle took the time to locate our cleaning supplies and not only cleaned it up but because it looked like their might be some be some Blood in the stool, she bagged it up and let us know where it was in case we needed a sample for the Veterinarian. Our dog seemed so happy and relaxed in the pictures and when we arrived home. It we evident that Elle cared for our girl as if she was her own and we would definitely use her services again!”

As always, Sabrila took exceptional care of Cookie while I was away for three weeks. Knowing Cookie was in such loving and capable hands gave me complete peace of mind. She made sure all of Cookie’s needs were met, especially considering her age, and treated her with so much patience, care, and affection. Thank you, Sabrila, for always going above and beyond. I truly appreciate everything you do for Cookie, and I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver. Highly recommended!
This was our first time having Jackie assist us with our two cats while we were out of town. We have nothing but great things to say! We appreciate her experience with cats, and the attention to detail in learning the patterns of our fur babies - from their diet to the toys they like to engage with. We highly recommend Jackie and hope to use her services again in the future!

We had an excellent experience and would absolutely book with Amy again! She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and genuinely cared for our dogs. Our senior Lab has some special needs, and she handled everything with so much patience, compassion, and attention to detail, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. She truly went above and beyond to make sure both of our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It was clear they were in great hands. We came home to two happy pups, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable!

Nouf took great care of my senior dog and cat. She gave me peace of mind while my boyfriend and I were away. My cat ran out the door (because she’s crazy!) and she was able to quickly catch her and bring her back inside safely. Reliable, responsible, responsive, and gave detailed updates + lots of pictures! I would recommend her if you are looking for someone who can handle your furbabies!

Tamara and Frank were excellent dog sitters for our two golden doodles. We were away for a week and had them do house visits three times a day over Christmas Break. They were amazing with our dogs and never missed a visit despite being over the holiday. They provided so many updates and photos which really helped my anxiety. We will definitely be rebooking them for future trips!

This was my first time using the Rover app to find someone to help me with my new puppy. Aditi was highly reviewed and I must say she was incredible. Extremely response, showed up on time, communicated throughout the entire visit and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
