About: Hi! My name is Isabella; I go by Izzy and I've been a reliable pet sitter for the past 5 years. During college, I was an in-house pet sitter for a 2-year-old Maltese and also regularly in-house sat for a lab mix and Husky. I would also occasionally watch my friends' dogs during long holiday weekends here and there. I can work remote from anywhere which is helpful for pet parents wanting a sitter starting on Wednesday evenings to Sunday if traveling over a weekend. I value open communication and like to provide as many updates as possible/as frequently as owners would like through photos or just casual check-in texts. I believe honesty is the best policy and bring up any concerns immediately to the owners. I always ask about emergency contacts/emergency vet locations in case it is ever needed. Building trust with owners is just as important as building a strong bond with your furry friend, so I like to get to know owners before sitting and talk about our communication styles.
About: I’ve had multiple dogs stay at my house many times and have had a dog at home since 2012. I love being friendly and taking care of animals. I am available any day any time for the next few months. Please let me know in advance, though I may also be available on short notice. I am considerate when it comes to dogs needs, knowing when nature calls an animal must go! Please inform me of any needs that must be met for your animal.

“Clay arrived on time, has a friendly demeanor, and was in tune to Abner’s needs. This was a trial run to see Abner’s willingness to walk with him. Due to the pandemic, Abner is not as adaptable to new people as before since someone is usually with him as I work from home. They came back pretty quickly from the walk so I accompanied them to allow Abner to be more comfortable with Clay. We had a nice walk and Abner seems to be warming up to him. After the walk, Clay paid close attention to the post-walk routine of wiping Abner’s paws and private areas by the door. I quickly booked Clay again for next week and I highly recommend him.”

Elisabeth always go above and beyond to help make Sage comfortable and that helps us enjoy our time away more! She always treats Sage to treats, play time, and extra love. Katherine is a compassionate and conscientious sitter. My two dogs love seeing her and trust her. She makes an extra effort to follow instructions and to inquire with us if there are any concerns about the dogs. We have older dogs, and I had left a note about certain issues she might observe with one of the dogs. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
