“Maya has been great with my coonhound Stella. She & Maya seemed to bond instantly as Maya has a way with dogs. I'm looking forward to booking her more for the summer, she really cares about your dog. She's an excellent walker!”

“Kimberly is wonderful with my fur baby. She is very flexible as well as accommodating with respect to my dog’s needs. My pup is a high energy dog who needs a brisk and fun walk. Kimberly brings my girl back, happy and ready to nap ?”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m not just a sitter—I’m a dog mom myself, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone. I treat every dog like they’re my own, with genuine love, patience, and attention to detail. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, or just a calm presence, I’m here to give them the same care and comfort they’d get at home. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available for early morning walks, midday drop-ins, and evening snuggles. I also offer overnight care for those who need a loving presence while they’re away. My routine can easily be tailored around your pet’s feeding, walking, and potty schedule. Pet care is a huge part of my life — it’s not something I fit in, it’s something I prioritize. From daily walks with my own dogs to checking in on client pups, I dedicate specific time each day to ensure every dog gets quality care, play, and attention. I always plan my day around their needs, not the other way around. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, safety and comfort always come first. I create a calm, structured environment and supervise interactions closely. I keep a close eye during walks, use secure leashes, and never leave pets unattended. In your home, I respect your space and routines, following any special instructions you leave. I also send plenty of updates, photos, and videos so you always feel connected and reassured.
About: I’ve been taken care of pets since the first one came into my household, cats mostly but I have experience with dogs and birds too! I currently work remote so I’m free most of the day everyday, which allows me to have more than enough time for all my furry friends! In a clients home I like to treat the pets as if I’m the owner myself, with respect, love and kindness as much as possible
“Nic and his wife Carmen were great on their walk with Scuba. He’s a young and mouthy puppy and tries to eat everything during walks. They handled him with care and he seems to have enjoyed his walk. I’d recommend them!”

“Ashley was an absolute angel watching my Romeo!! She was extremely thorough and followed my instructions to a T (there were many! Lol) she was inquisitive and took pride in being helpful and making sure my puppy was well taken care of. She was always early or on time and always gave my baby lots of love! I would and WILL be asking her to dog sit again! Thank you so much Ashley!! ⭐️”

“Franky has been walking my 57 lb, 12 year old boxer/lab mix for a week now and I’m very pleased. He asked good questions at our meet n greet before the first walk and is taking excellent care of my girl. He’s super nice and clearly loves dogs and knows how to treat them well. 5 stars.”
About: Calendar is currently up to date through June 2026! Growing up we had outdoor cats, until a tiny 5lb chihuahua came around and stole our hearts. We had her for 15 resilient years. I went on to foster a handful of dogs through my college years at a local rescue.I then helped my roommate from 2018 to 2020, Rover pets until we went our separate ways and I adopted the sweetest 10 year old pup, Rocky. We had 2 wonderful years together until my boyfriend and I had to unexpectedly put her down in September 2022. Love found it’s way back into our hearts a few months later; when we met our new pup Ozzy. He has brought so much joy and energy into our home. I am WFH M-T-Th-F and available most weekends! I have a few meetings a week, but the rest of my work is project based. This makes it so I can stop in for a quick walk, or just to hang for a bit relatively easily. I can also work from your home and spend some time with your pet if they require more one on one time. When doing in-house stays, drop-ins, and walks I will always be respectful of your space and your home. I am very flexible and will follow any instructions you asks for while I’m taking care of your pup.
“My dog Twyla can be nervous meeting new people. Clay held a meet and greet for us to give Twyla some time to meet him without pressure. He walked Twyla a week later and it went great! Twyla was excited to see him and he followed our guidance (using treats, staying away from other dogs), which helped make the walk go smoothly. Looking forward to Clay continuing to care for Twyla!”

“Alex provided our dog Sammie an afternoon walk today. Alex was very patient with Sammie, who was acting anxious (which is her temperament) and eventually got her to warm up to him and get in a good walk. Alex was kind enough to stay later than scheduled given Sammie’s initial hesitation at walking with someone new.”

“Keara is amazing! And our babies love her! Prompt on visits and walks, and very communicative which we super appreciate. And has been available on short notice a couple times as well which has been great for us, because we know our children will be in good hands.”

“Mary was really kind and helpful! My dog, Maggie, loved her and she did a great job walking her around the neighborhood and dealing with some of her tricky behaviors. Mary also sent really detailed messages after each walk! Would definitely recommend!”

“Kelsey is the best! She’s kind, gentle, honest, and communicative. I will be using her again in the near future. She was a God-send while I was recovering from an injury.”

“Christine took great care of Neiman. She was always on time (early even!) and at the end of her time Neiman was running downstairs to meet her. I will be sure to call her again. Thank you so very much.”

“Melianna was great! During our first meeting with her and our pups. They seemed to warm up and got along right away! She sent us updates and reached out if she had any questions. Will definitely book again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since 2021. I worked at a couple of doggy daycare facilities, and I worked at a vet clinic as a kennel assistant for a year. Candace did an amazing job walking Bruno and Oliver over Memorial Day weekend. Our dogs are definitely not the easiest walkers, but she was patient, attentive, and handled both of them really well. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were getting the care and attention they needed. We’ll definitely be booking Candace again in the future.

Anna is an amazing dog walker. She can handle big dogs like my German Shepherd. She’s always super communicative and is willing to accommodate to any special requests you might have. You can definitely trust your loved one with her — could not recommend her enough!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
