About: Hi, my name is Katie! My family dog, Bo, is the center of my universe, so I understand just how important your pet is, and I am committed to offering you the peace of mind of knowing that your pet is being cared for. I prioritize cooperative care and respect of the pet's boundaries and comfort levels in order to create a safe and positive experience. I spent a year volunteering as a dog walker with the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA; in this capacity, I received training on safe dog handling practices and gained experience walking dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am comfortable caring for animals both small and large, and have particular experience walking dogs that pull on their leash. I understand body language cues and take proactive steps to recognize and avoid situations that might make your pet anxious. I understand that each pet is a microcosm of emotions and routines, and am happy to learn your pet's games, tricks, routines, and boundaries. Your fur baby is your world, and I will keep them safe and happy! By working with me, you can rest assured that your pet will be given the love and respect that they deserve, and that they will be kept safe and happy. I also enjoy taking goofy pet pictures of the animals I care for, so you can look forward to plenty of fun updates! Outside of pet care, I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, meaning that I have a wide range of availability. I am available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I operate on a drop-in method, meaning that I will visit your home to care for your pet. In general, I request to know ahead of time whether the dog will be free-roaming or crated when I arrive; I am happy to work with both scenarios, but want to know how your pet prefers to be greeted. I prioritize making your pet comfortable, and will work with you to make sure your pet's needs are met.

About: I’m an experienced and loving pet sitter who’s been caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities for several years. I started out helping family friends and my mom’s clients, and I quickly realized how much I love spending time with animals — whether it’s going for walks, giving belly rubs, or just being a calm, trusted presence while their people are away. About: I have experience caring for my family dog, including feeding, walking, playing, and maintaining a routine. Additionally, I have pet sat a Maltese for a family friend so I am comfortable around new dogs and learning about their needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to handle dogs responsibly and pay close attention to their behavior and safety. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to following each pet owner's instructions to ensure their pets are well cared for and happy. I currently have a lot of flexibility in my schedule so I will have plenty of time throughout the week for any of your pet's needs! When caring for your pet, I plan to carefully follow your instructions. I will make sure your pet has fresh water, food, and attention. I will also be respectful of each client's home by keeping spaces clean, locking doors, and provided updates if asked for.

About: I used to have a shih tzu named Oreo when I was younger for a year unfortunately had to give her away because my mom was allergic. I now take care of my cousin’s dog Millie when they are on trips I usually sleepover at their house and watch over her, walk her, feed her, and as well as bathing her. As you can see in the pictures of me with different pets they are not all mine just the bunny named biscuit. All the other dogs and cats are my friends or just strays I find on the street that wants affection:) I currently work full time but I’ll make time for the fur babies because they make me happy. I communicate clearly and make time around my schedule to accommodate to all pet parents. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. If there is any medication or specific instructions on what you would like me to do I will be more than happy to do so just let me know.

“Top of the charts, look no farther, this is your guy for any service he provides. We will 100% work with Alan again and will recommend him to our family/friends that could use his services. Alan is super professional, always on-time and did right by our dog. Alan walked our dog 2-3 times a week over a period of a few months. Over the months that passed, he was always flexible if needed on my end, was quick to respond to messages and is just a good person. Our dog can overheat pretty easy and one day while waiting for our boy to get back I saw Alan carrying him in his arms up the street. About: I’ve raised a pitbull from a puppy, and currently take care of a miniature poodle and rescued two abandoned dogs. I also had four cats. I am currently a homemaker, so I have plenty of time in the middle of the day to take care of animals five days a week. If your dog likes company, I can bring my miniature poodle, who is always happy to play and provide company to other dogs. I am in an apartment, which allows dogs.
