About: We only take hypo-allergenic dogs. We have a great backyard and love going for walks. We have three kids who love dogs. We also have two pups that love to play too! Enjoy taking pups for morning and afternoon walks and letting dogs out to play in backyard anytime. My kids enjoy playing with pups when they get home from school. We are a smoke free, clean and eager to play with an additional pup. We only take hyper-allergenic dogs and are firm on this. So please don’t choose us if you don’t have these kind of dogs.
“Manasa is amazing with our pups. From weekly walks to overnight care, she continually sees they are well cared for and happy. We completely trust her and she’s amazing with both small and larger dogs ( we have both!)”

“Francisco is an outstanding dog walker! He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our dog is well cared for. After every walk, he communicates with me and provides thoughtful updates about how everything went, including anything he noticed that I should be aware of. What really stood out to me was his attention to detail and genuine care. During our last walk, it started raining, and he reached out to ask where he could find a towel so he could dry our dog off before leaving. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot to me and showed how much he truly cares about the pets he looks after. I highly recommend Francisco to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog walker. Your pet will be in great hands!”

About: Hi my name is Mackenzie, I would love to provide your fur baby with a comfortable, loving stay. I have one pitbull mix and 3 cats of my own. I have never met a pet that I haven’t gotten along with! I’ve grown up with pets in my home my whole life. I also used to have (he crossed the rainbow bridge) a paralyzed dachshund. I have experience with high energy dogs, strong dogs, temperamental cats - dogs and cats big and small. I understand what it’s like to have someone take care of of your babies, so I am very responsive and would be happy to send you pictures and updates. My dog, Monty loves to play, but also has awareness to know when a dog doesn’t want to interact. I’ve pet sat for tons of family and friends in the past, so I’d be thrilled to add your pet(s) to that list. I work remotely and have a full-time job. Most of my meetings are pre-planned so I have a good sense of my day and when walks can happen. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide love throughout the whole day. I have a small fenced in patio area that has a patch of soil and 2 fake grass pee mats for any urgent potty needs. I will always supervise outside while they are outside. I live in a town home, so I can easily separate my pets from yours if need be, but all of my pets are very friendly. I’m very thorough and take notes to make sure I get your fur baby’s needs exactly as they need them.
“Leslie was amazing! She was able to walk our pup Hank in a last minutes time crunch. Sent pics and had great communication throughout the service. We will definitely work with Leslie again!”

“Carole was great! Arrived on time, my dog was excited to see her and they had a good wander around the neighborhood. She took time with him during the meet and greet to get to know him as he can be anxious. All went well. Plan to book reoccurring walks with Carole!”

“As a first time Rover user, I was very nervous about having a stranger come into our home and care for Greta. Ainsley was great! She answered all of my questions and put me at ease that Greta would be in good hands. Ainsley followed the directions that we left for her and we were kept informed about the visit. We would highly recommend Ainsley and we will definitely use her again.”

“Anna did great with Indy. She met him before his walk which made both of us comfortable. Each day Anna walked him I came home to a relaxed and happy golden retriever. Definitely recommend her and will request her again.”

“Kelsey is the best! She’s kind, gentle, honest, and communicative. I will be using her again in the near future. She was a God-send while I was recovering from an injury.”

About: I've been a cat parent all my life, and all-around animal lover. Now, I have two dogs (Damon and Matcha) and two kitties at home, all rescues. About half the time, I also volunteer to foster puppies that need homes, so I'm very experienced with dogs of all ages. Serving the Sterling area; I live across the street from Claude Moore park and love to explore the trails with four-legged friends. Summertime makes for the most gorgeous pictures, and I love capturing your fur babies on camera! I love all breeds, especially if they have good manners, but larger and more playful dogs will have the best time playing with my 3-year-old dog, Matcha. Caring for fur-babies is currently my full-time job, whether that's customers, fosters, or my own brood. I love all size dogs and cats! Most of the time, when I come into your home, your animals will let me know what their routine is! But specific instructions will help me out a lot too and are always appreciated.
“Elena does a wonderful job with my special needs dog. She’s punctual and professional, and my little girl came back relaxed and happy. I would recommend her to anyone whose dog needs a little extra help.”
“Amazing dog walker! She was reliable, professional, and took great care of my dogs. They absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I would hire her again anytime and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!”

About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes, including high-energy and more relaxed breeds. I’m comfortable handling multiple dogs and adjusting care based on their needs, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them calm and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended stays, and I can adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs. Whether your pet needs frequent potty breaks, playtime, or just companionship, I make sure they’re well cared for and not left alone for long periods. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets can feel at ease. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special care needs. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times.
“Keara is amazing! And our babies love her! Prompt on visits and walks, and very communicative which we super appreciate. And has been available on short notice a couple times as well which has been great for us, because we know our children will be in good hands.”

Claire has been wonderful to work with! She came by the day before for a site visit to meet my dog, which I really appreciated. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions, learn about my dog’s routine, and make sure she understood his needs. Her professionalism and attention to detail gave me peace of mind, and I feel confident knowing my dog will be in great hands. I’m looking forward to using her dog walking services and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. Thanks, Claire! 🐾😊

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
