I've had pets my whole life and know how much it matters to leave yours somewhere you trust. Your dog will be part of the household here — not crated in a back room — with plenty of attention, a regular routine, and photo updates so you know how the day is going. A few things to know about my setup: I have a yard, but it isn't fenced, so all potty breaks and outdoor time are leashed and supervised. Never off-leash. I have one dog of my own, a friendly female Bernedoodle named Dorothy. She's good with other dogs, and I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone gets along. I work from home, so your dog won't be alone for long stretches. Comfortable with puppies, senior dogs with special needs, and everything in between. For walks, I'll stick to whatever route and pace your dog is used to, and I'll let you know how it went. Happy to set up a free meet-and-greet before booking anything.

Douglas has been around pets all his life. He is a pet owner of a 3 yr old Bernedoodle. You can find him walking his dog daily around the neighborhood and on weekends will be hiking and exploring with his dog. He is a compassionate and responsible person who would be very vigilant of any pet in his care.
DJ genuinely loves all dogs and has such a natural ability to connect with them. He is wonderful at training, playing with dogs, and teaching them appropriate safety limits in a way that is fun, patient, and positive. DJ is also incredibly responsible and attentive when it comes to animal care. His own dog is clearly very loved and well cared for—he makes sure his dog gets daily walks, stays up to date on flea and tick prevention, and is fully vaccinated. Most of all, River is just so much fun\! Dogs absolutely love being around him, and you can tell that he truly enjoys spending time with them\. I would highly recommend River to anyone looking for someone who is caring, responsible, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about dogs\!

Schedule
My schedule is completely my own so I can tailor my day to what your dog is used to. Our usual routine is a walk/run in the morning and a walk with the whole family in the evening.

Safety, trust & environment
Dorothy is crate trained and so can be right next to your dog to keep them company. I have a good sized yard where I can let the dogs out on leashes and a fenced in deck if they want to be outside. I live 5 minutes from an animal hospital and am used to the random ailments that come with taking care of dogs.
Pets
A typical day
If you're up for it, I'll take your dog hiking in the mountains, or if you'd prefer I'll keep them right by your house. I love running around fields with dogs, so we'll do a lot of that, we'll play fetch, I can work on their tricks with them, whatever.
