“Kristen is incredible! She takes such good care of the pups, is always responsive, and leaves a great impression on the pups every time she visits. We will absolutely be booking with Kristen in the future.”

“First time using Rover, and Olga was amazing! Frequently kept me updated on Coopers status, including plenty of pics. Had the schedule this last minute and on Thanksgiving Day, and Olga was more than happy to help. Will definitely use her again in the future, and highly recommend.”

“Our cats absolutely love Elena! Our boy cat Ollie adores when Elena comes to see him, as evident in the many pictures and videos we get from Elena. Our girl cat Gracie is incredibly shy and very slow to trust anyone as she is a domesticated feral cat but after 3 separate visits from Elena she no longer runs and hides but comes to her for pets and purrs like crazy, safe to say Gracie adores Elena too. We look forward to having Elena care for them again soon. Thank you Elena for taking such great care and loving on our cats as if they’re your own!”

“Kendall is the BEST! I can’t recommend her enough! From the very beginning, she has gone above and beyond in caring for my dog. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats the dogs under her care like her own. She is so reliable and organized, communicative, and thoughtful. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. She also takes extra time to make sure my dog is comfortable, happy, and well exercised, and even brings her bones. We are lucky to have Kendall in our life!”

About: I've had pets my whole life and know how much it matters to leave yours somewhere you trust. Your dog will be part of the household here — not crated in a back room — with plenty of attention, a regular routine, and photo updates so you know how the day is going. A few things to know about my setup: I have a yard, but it isn't fenced, so all potty breaks and outdoor time are leashed and supervised. Never off-leash. I have one dog of my own, a friendly female Bernedoodle named Dorothy. She's good with other dogs, and I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone gets along. I work from home, so your dog won't be alone for long stretches. Comfortable with puppies, senior dogs with special needs, and everything in between. For walks, I'll stick to whatever route and pace your dog is used to, and I'll let you know how it went. Happy to set up a free meet-and-greet before booking anything. My schedule is completely my own so I can tailor my day to what your dog is used to. Our usual routine is a walk/run in the morning and a walk with the whole family in the evening. Dorothy is crate trained and so can be right next to your dog to keep them company. I have a good sized yard where I can let the dogs out on leashes and a fenced in deck if they want to be outside. I live 5 minutes from an animal hospital and am used to the random ailments that come with taking care of dogs.
“Asher was absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with my cat who can experience extreme separation anxiety. Every care step was followed and multiple pictures per visit were provided, leaving me fully at ease that my precious baby was being taken care of in the same way that I would have. Absolutely would love and fully plan to book again in the future!!”

“Keila did such a wonderful job with our 95 lb jumpy/excited boxer the first time she watched him, we immediately booked her again for our next longer trip (10 days!) and am so glad we did. We felt really comfortable with her already, but every visit she did she sent photos and typically added funny notes and that made it even better. She spent a lot of time with him for drop ins and clearly gave him plenty of exercise. We will reach out to Keila and pray she’s available for all our future needs! Highly recommend.”

“My dogs loved having Leanna for the whole week! She is a professional at caring for dogs and I felt assured the entire time I was away, that my dogs were happy and safe. The photos were proof that they enjoyed Leanna’s company. I would highly recommend!”

“Carey is awesome and I am so happy to have found someone I trust coming into my home and taking care of my fur-baby. Taking care of a 9 week old puppy can be a handful, but Carey is a pro!! Great Rover card updates!”
“Nikki was great! She was able to stop by fairly last minute to let our dog out for a short walk. She was also kind enough to come over for a short meet-and-greet beforehand so that our dog would be familiar with her. If another time comes where we need a drop-in sitter, we’ll absolutely be using Nikki again!”
“We had to travel unexpectedly for a family emergency and Laura was able check in with Lucy on such short notice. We ended up extending our trip twice and Laura was very kind to continue watching Lucy. During this difficult time, it was so nice to know that Lucy was being cared for and to know I didn’t have to worry about her. Thank you so much, Laura!”

“Christine could not have been more professional and fantastic. Marty is often a bit standoffish, but, in every picture we saw of him, he looked happy and well cared for. We’ll definitely be calling on Christine when we head out in the future!”

“Erin did a great job looking after our two young cats while we were away for Thanksgiving. She sent wonderful updates, did everything as requested (more, actually) and when we got home our cats weren’t overly excited to see us which means they were pretty happy while we were gone!”

“Manasa is so sweet and thorough in caring for my babies! She asked questions before, during, and after to ensure all their needs (and mine) were met. She promptly notified me when they were not on their best behavior. The picture updated really provided me with a peace of mind and I’ve already booked her for my next pet care. Thank you again so much for everything!”

About: Hiya! My name is Tyana, I’ve been working with animals since 2018 and haven’t stopped since. If your fur baby needs to be groomed while they’re enjoying their staycation you’re in luck! I’ve been grooming dogs of all shapes and sizes for over six years and have noticed a lot of pups do better on with a one-on-one environment and the conform of their own home. This would be something part time for me and a great way to help spread my awareness that there’s a local groomer in town I would love to build a relationship with my clients and their babies By giving them my undivided love, care and attention to support dogs with or without anxiety a ease of mind that everything is ok as grooming if necessary

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Grove
Did a great job taking care of our cat! Lots of pictures and messages keeping us up to date on her. Very punctual and followed directions for our cat's care and how to lock up the house for the last day. Also spent good quality time petting and playing with her in addition to feeding her, and checking the litterbox.

She was absolutely wonderful! She communicated with us carefully and thoroughly about our cats’ needs and made sure she understood all the details of their care. She always arrived as scheduled and was very attentive to how our cats were doing during each visit. We really appreciated how thoughtful and reliable she was. Our cats became fond of her very quickly and clearly enjoyed spending time with her! We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. We would definitely recommend her and would be happy to book with her again!

Ashleigh took incredible care of my cat, Gus! She was kind, communicative and thoughtful. I was worried to leave my cat with a sitter for the first time- she provided through updates that put me at ease and did great with his “spicy and sweet” personality. 10/10 💌

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
