About: I currently work part-time about four days a week, usually from 9–3 or 10–3, and my work hours are fairly flexible as well. Outside of those hours, my schedule is pretty flexible and I have plenty of availability for cat sitting, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. I’m also happy to work around your cat’s normal routine and feeding schedule as much as possible. Cats are creatures of routine, so whenever possible, I recommend having them cared for in their own home while their owners are away. Being able to stay in a familiar environment with their usual smells, hiding spots, and routine can help make the experience less stressful for them. When I’m caring for your cat, I try to keep their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I’ll follow any instructions you leave for feeding, litter, medications, playtime, and anything else that’s part of their normal day. I’m also very careful around doors and entryways, especially with cats who are curious or like to try to sneak outside. I’ll respect your cat’s space and let them decide how much interaction they’re comfortable with rather than forcing attention. I’m also happy to send photos and updates while you’re away so you can see how they’re doing.

My name is Carmen and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and if you are familiar with people from LA, you know we LOVE ALL animals. I grew up with a big family who loves animals and since I can remember we’ve always had pets at home. Back in LA we have 4 dogs, 1 turtle and now added to that 5 love birds! Anyways, I no longer live there and moved to the east coast with my partner about 2 years ago. Our new home now houses just 2 cats. One of them is a tabby cat who is 6 years old named Blinchik. He is a very outgoing cat that loves everyone and everything. My other cat is named Nala (Siamese/Tabby) and she is quite the opposite from Blinny boy. She loves to keep to herself and takes a while to trust anyone but once she is warmed up you can see her beautiful shy personality. I used to be a nanny which also meant I took care of their pets as well. I have lots experience taking care of other families pets as well as administering medications when needed. Since I’ve been a dog and cat mom, I treat other families pets like they are my own. I’m currently in grad school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist which gives me a lot of extra time to take care of your fur babies 🩷 I’m currently in my graduate program to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I’m in school Monday-Thursday with only one class a day. That being said, it gives me lots of extra time in the afternoon/evening to fill up with some dog walking, pet sitting, and playing time. My home has a fenced yard so if your fur baby is staying with me, they will have the yard all to themselves to run around and have fun. I have worked at PetSmart as a dog bather where I was trained to bathe dogs, clip their nails, clean their ears, and how to properly handle them. About: I took care of my black lab for 8 years, including feeding, giving medications, bathing and walking. I raised my cat from 6 weeks forward, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, giving attention to/playing with, and giving any medicines needed. I currently have a 4 and 5 year old cat. I also regularly volunteered at the cat Cafe in Murfreesboro, TN before I relocated to the area. There I was responsible for playing with the cats, feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I have worked at an animal hospital where I have gained knowledge about medical situations and some medication giving. I am also a professional toy fixer! I am currently in between jobs so I do have mostly open availability until this changes or if I have to block some time off for an interview. About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of feathered, finned, clawed, and pawed friends! So I have been providing animal care most of my life. I am a big animal lover and believe pets are important members of the family! I am able to care for pets extensively on the days that I am off, walking, feeding and giving them plenty of playtime and belly rubs! About: I was introduced to dogs during my early childhood; I would always have at least 3 of them at a time. While I do not yet have a dog of my own, I’ve spent countless hours volunteering at animal shelters bathing dogs/puppies, cleaning up their environment, feeding and playing with them, walking them, and just keeping them company! First thing in the morning is a walk and potty breaks, followed by feeding, the rest of the day would follow similarly with 4/5 mini walks and dinner at ideal time. Potty before bed time and no pet will be left alone for more than 3 hours and if preferred never at all.
