I provide private, personalized care for only one household of pets at a time. I specialize in senior dogs, anxious or reactive pets, puppies, and pets needing medication or additional supervision. Every family receives detailed updates, photos, and care tailored to their pet’s normal routine. I understand that leaving your pet means trusting someone with a beloved member of your family. My goal is for you to enjoy your trip knowing your pet is safe, loved, and receiving one-on-one care that mirrors their routine at home. I intentionally limit my bookings so every family receives my full attention, detailed updates, and personalized care from start to finish. I believe every successful booking starts with honest communication. I work closely with each family before the stay to understand their pet’s routines, behaviors, and any special considerations. This allows me to create a personalized care plan so your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for from the moment they arrive.

Esther was wonderful with our two cats, one of whom needs medication. She followed the instructions on their special food and kitty-preferences and we know they were in good hands while we were away. Here’s a polished version of your review: If I could give Esther more than five stars, I absolutely would. She went above and beyond in every possible way and exceeded every expectation we had. From the very beginning, she was meticulous about following every instruction and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with both of our dogs—our energetic 1-year-old and our sweet 13-year-old senior. Our younger dog is currently training to become a therapy dog, so it was incredibly important to us that his training and routine were maintained while we were away. At the same time, our senior dog needed someone who would be mindful of his age and keep him safe, comfortable, and happy during the summer heat. Esther handled both of their very different needs flawlessly. We’ve used other dog sitters in the past who did the bare minimum, which always left us worrying about our dogs instead of enjoying our vacation. This experience was completely different. For the first time, I was truly able to relax because I knew our boys were not just being cared for—they were having the week of their lives. Whether they were going on walks, enjoying backyard adventures, or cuddling up for a movie or a nap, it was obvious they were loved and cared for as if they were her own. Esther’s communication was outstanding. She sent thoughtful updates, photos, and videos throughout the week, and each one brought us so much joy and reassurance while we were away. We never had to wonder how they were doing because she kept us informed every step of the way. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs, and that says everything. We are beyond grateful for the exceptional care Esther provided and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely passionate about caring for animals. We hope to have her watch our boys again and again!
If you're looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about your dog, I can't recommend Esther enough! We have a German Shepherd who can be reactive, and Esther went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe and comfortable. She even offered meet-and-greets before our scheduled vacation, which gave both us and our dog the chance to get to know her and build trust. Our dog absolutely adores Esther, and it was clear from the start that she was in great hands. During our trip, Esther sent regular updates with photos and detailed summaries of each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind. Knowing our dog was happy and well cared for made it so much easier to relax while we were away. This was our first Rover experience, and it exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely be booking with Esther again and highly recommend her to anyone, especially those with reactive dogs!
Esther is amazing! She took such compassionate, attentive care of our dog Lua, who was recovering from having eight teeth removed and two mast cell tumors removed. She handled everything with great attention to detail — you can tell she genuinely cares. Lua adores her, which says it all. Highly recommend!
Best experience I have had on ROVER for Kona. Esther was VERY professional and responsive and really took care of Kona. Will 100% be my first go to here on out needing drop in visits

Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine. I structure my day around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins, so your pet always gets consistent attention. I’m home often and keep a flexible schedule, making it easy to accommodate different routines, special needs, or last-minute changes.

Safety is my top priority. I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment with supervised care and close attention to each pet’s routine, comfort, and well-being. To provide truly individualized care, I intentionally accept only one household of pets at a time. Your pets receive my undivided attention without the stress of being around multiple unfamiliar pets. My dog, June, will be the only resident pet staying with your pet(s) during their visit. I carefully consider every booking to ensure that all pets are comfortable, safe, and a good fit together. I follow all feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, and special instructions closely while providing regular updates, photos, and communication throughout their stay. Because I provide care in my own home, I thoughtfully screen each booking to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and needs. Before every stay, I ask detailed questions about potty habits, marking, anxiety, energy levels, behaviors, and any special care instructions. This preparation allows me to maintain a clean, safe environment and provide personalized care that helps your pet feel comfortable, secure, and at home.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, active, and mentally engaged. We’ll start with a refreshing walk tailored to your pet’s energy level to get their energy out, followed by plenty of sniffing adventures to satisfy their curiosity. If appropriate for your pet and approved by you, we may enjoy additional enrichment activities such as sniff walks, training games, and safe outdoor adventures. I especially enjoy caring for senior dogs, anxious/reactive dogs, puppies, and pets who need extra patience or consistency. I understand that leaving your pet can be stressful, so my goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible with detailed updates, photos, and attention to the little things that make your pet feel at home. Your pet will end their day feeling loved, stimulated, and relaxed.
