About: We are a dependable mother–daughter pet sitting team with 30 years of combined pet care and training experience. Whether your dog enjoys neighborhood walks, park outings, or a calmer pace, we adjust to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For pet sitting in our home, we have a gated kitchen area where pets can stay safely with us, as well as a fenced patio where they can get fresh air and companionship. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kid, starting with our two family dogs, Snuggles and Peanut! Peanut was a puppy when we got her and I learned a lot about training from that experience. Both our dogs lived good long lives and required a lot of senior care near the end. I’ve also taken care of dogs and cats for friends and coworkers in the last several years when they go on vacation. I love our furry friends and being outside, something we usually have in common! I work full-time in-person Monday through Friday. I am available for pet sitting after work and can do overnight stays but would not be available during the day on weekdays. On weekends, I have a lot of availability and the longest pets would be left alone is 4-5 hours. I live in an apartment and unfortunately cannot host your pet at my home but would be thrilled to keep your furry friend company in your home! I am a very reliable and responsible person and have been at my full-time job for the last six years. I have a very open schedule so no rushing off to an office or leaving your pet alone for long hours. I provide reliable, calm, and attentive care for dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I am highly responsible, communicative, and ready to follow your pet's specific routine as needed. There are many paths around my house, which are great for walking dogs. I am not working so I am very flexible in terms of my schedule. I am usually available during most times of the day or even on short notice if needed. I live in a three level townhouse in Reston with a deck and a small backyard that backs to woods. I do not have any pets of my own, but several of my neighbors have pets.

I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!
