“Maeghan to the rescue once again! Always a massive help with our two kitties. Dependable, communicative and always shares thorough report with photos. Thank you so much Maeghan :)”

“Nicole was very accommodating and attentive. I had to switch a day for her to care for my cats and she was great about it. Sent lots of pictures of my cats while I was gone. I know they were in good hands 😊”

“Carolyn took wonderful care of our 2 kitties while we did a long weekend trip. She provided a brief summary daily along with photos each day! She followed the instructions perfectly and everything went smoothly. Our kitties enjoyed getting to see her every day and we loved getting the updates each day while we were gone. On top of that, she quickly responded to my messages leading up to her scheduled visits. Thank you so much, Carolyn! I will be checking if you’re available whenever we go out of town!”

“Jennifer was immediately available to help with our dogs while we were managing multiple house guests for our mother’s wake and funeral. We were very grateful for her services.”

“Leah was very helpful and the communication went smoothly. She took good care of our kitties. She gave the kitties their wet food and supplements, as well as some play time.”

“Laura was so wonderful! She gave updates every visit and was so great with my cat. I have never used a cat sitter before as I recently adopted, but will continue to use Laura in the future!”

“Kendall was very attentive and patient with Wookie and Butter Scotch. She definitely went the extra mile for them and was quick to communicate any issues. Highly recommended”

“Hi Hannah. You are truly a cat-whisperer. Shuba is generally very shy; cat sitters we’ve used in the past never even saw her because she was hiding. We were so very pleasantly surprised by the photo of you petting Shuba. Wow and than you.”

“Our pet Buddy takes time to meet new people. But when Buddy met Carl for the first time, he sniffed Carl and instantly connected with him and enjoyed Carl’s company. The next time we are in need of a pet sitter, we will definitely call Carl again.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kid, starting with our two family dogs, Snuggles and Peanut! Peanut was a puppy when we got her and I learned a lot about training from that experience. I love our furry friends and being outside, something we usually have in common! I work full-time in-person Monday through Friday. On weekends, I have a lot of availability and the longest pets would be left alone is 4-5 hours. I live in an apartment and unfortunately cannot host your pet at my home but would be thrilled to keep your furry friend company in your home! I am a very reliable and responsible person and have been at my full-time job for the last six years. My friends and coworkers trust me with their pets and know that I will communicate with them frequently and love on their pets just like they do!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crowells Corner
Nicole is always our go-to! She is tuned into cat’s needs and personalities and really enjoys them! She’s also very responsive to my messages and I probably message too much. She not only provides wonderful care and communication, she also has a lot of knowledge and experience and I appreciate how many of my questions and concerns she will provide a full, well-thought out response to. Thank you so much Nicole!

Jennifer was wonderful with our cat Meep - he loved her and you could tell from her photos how excited he was to spend time with her every day! We were grateful for her thoughtful updates and hilarious pictures and memories were so glad knowing Meep was in such caring hands!

Caroline was amazing with our 3 kitties. She took great care of them, kept us updated and sent the cutest pictures. We have one male cat who can be a little tricky, but he took a liking to her very quickly and she knew how to handle him. She gave us peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent sitter.

Jules has been great on communication, time of visits and execution of meds. I have 1 senior kitty who is special needs and was very hard for me to leave. She did an excellent job of taking care of her, making sure she got her meds and ate, always leaving extra out for her to eat when she wants. My other kitty easy but she still showed her the same attention. Also managed busy concierges in my complex an even took our packages up when that wasn’t her responsibility. She made it easier for me to leave as I was having a hard time. I’ll see ask her back when she’s in town from school.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crowells Corner. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
