About: Pets have always been part of my family. We got our first dog when I was 9, and I was hooked from the start. Before long, I became the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood, and I’ve continued caring for pets for friends and family throughout adulthood. Over the years, I’ve handled everything from quick drop-ins and overnight stays to puppy accidents, anxious pets, senior dogs who need a little extra patience, and adventurous pups who somehow manage to find the neighborhood skunk. I’m comfortable with the messy, quirky, unpredictable parts of pet care and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality, routine, and needs. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family — because that’s always been what pets are to me. My current schedule gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day, so I’m able to accommodate a variety of walk and drop-in times and can often work with changing schedules. When caring for your dog in your home, I’ll do my best to keep their routine feeling as normal and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for walks, feeding, water, medications if applicable, potty breaks, playtime, and any house rules you have in place. I know how important it is to trust someone in your home, so I’ll treat your space with care and respect, keep things tidy, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other safety points are secure before I leave. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away. Maeghan was great! This was my first time to use a pet sitter. I made a last minute decision to hire a person to be with my dogs while I attended a wedding. She responded immediately. She kept in touch with me all through the process. My dogs are a bit "high strung" and she was patient with them. While she was with them, she sent me message updates and pictures, which helped me feel comfortable and confident that I left them in her care. She is caring, friendly and wonderful.
